1 These are the lodging places of the sons of Israel, who departed from Egypt by their companies under the hand of Moses and Aaron,	1 Estas son las etapas del viaje de los hijos de Israel que salieron de Egipto, por escuadrones, a las órdenes de Moisés y Aarón.
2 which Moses wrote down according to the places of the encampments, which they changed upon the order of the Lord.	2 Moisés, por orden del Señor, registró los puntos desde donde partían, etapa por etapa. Estas fueron las etapas, con indicación de los puntos de partida.
3 Thus the sons of Israel set out from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month, on the day after the Passover, with an exalted hand, being seen by all the Egyptians.	3 Partieron de Ramsés el mes primero. El día quince del mes primero, al día siguiente de la Pascua, salieron los hijos de Israel, la mano en alto, ante la mirada de todos los egipcios.
4 And these were burying their firstborn, whom the Lord had struck down (for so, too, did he carry out retribution against their gods).	4 Los egipcios estaban enterrando a todos sus primogénitos, que habían sido heridos por el Señor, haciendo así justicia de sus dioses.
5 And they made camp at Soccoth.	5 Partieron los hijos de Israel de Ramsés y acamparon en Sucot.
6 And from Soccoth they went to Etham, which is at the furthest limits of the wilderness.	6 Partieron de Sucot y acamparon en Etán, al borde del desierto.
7 Departing from there, they arrived opposite Pi-hahiroth, which looks out toward Baal-zephon, and they were encamped before Migdol.	7 Partieron de Etán y se detuvieron en Pi Hajirot, frente a Baal Safón y acamparon delante de Migdol.
8 And setting out from Pi-hahiroth, they crossed through the middle of the Sea into the wilderness. And having walked for three days through the desert of Etham, they made camp at Marah.	8 Partieron de Pi Hajirot y pasaron por medio del mar hasta el desierto. Anduvieron tres días de camino por el desierto de Etán y acamparon en Mará.
9 And setting out from Marah, they arrived at Elim, where there were twelve fountains of water and seventy palm trees. And they set up camp there.	9 Partieron de Mará y llegaron a Elín. En Elín había doce fuentes y setenta palmeras; y acamparon allí.
10 But departing from there also, they fixed their tents above the Red Sea. And setting out from the Red Sea,	10 Partieron de Elín y acamparon cerca del mar Rojo.
11 they were encamped in the desert of Sin.	11 Partieron del mar Rojo y acamparon en el desierto de Sin.
12 Departing from there, they went to Dophkah.	12 Partieron del desierto de Sin y acamparon en Dofcá.
13 And setting out from Dophkah, they made camp at Alush.	13 Partieron de Dofcá y acamparon en Alús.
14 And departing from Alush, they fixed their tents at Rephidim, where the people lacked water to drink.	14 Partieron de Alús y acamparon en Refidín, pero no había allí agua para que bebiera la gente.
15 And setting out from Rephidim, they camped in the desert of Sinai.	15 Partieron de Refidín y acamparon en el desierto del Sinaí.
16 But departing also from the wilderness of the Sinai, they arrived at the Graves of Lust.	16 Partieron del desierto del Sinaí y acamparon en Quibrot Hatavá.
17 And setting out from the Graves of Lust, they were encamped at Hazeroth.	17 Partieron de Quibrot Hatavá y acamparon en Jaserot.
18 And from Hazeroth, they went to Rithmah.	18 Partieron de Jaserot y acamparon en Ritmá.
19 And setting out from Rithmah, they made camp at Rimmon-perez.	19 Partieron de Ritmá y acamparon en Rimón Peres.
20 And departing from there, they arrived at Libnah.	20 Partieron de Rimón Peres y acamparon en Libná.
21 From Libnah, they made camp at Rissah.	21 Partieron de Libná y acamparon en Risá.
22 And departing from Rissah, they went to Kehelathah.	22 Partieron de Risá y acamparon en Quehelatá.
23 Setting out from there, they were encamped at mount Shepher.	23 Partieron de Quehelatá y acamparon en el monte Séfer.
24 Departing from mount Shepher, they went to Haradah.	24 Partieron del monte Séfer y acamparon en Jaradá.
25 Continuing on from there, they made camp at Makheloth.	25 Partieron de Jaradá y acamparon en Maquelot.
26 And setting out from Makheloth, they went to Tahath.	26 Partieron de Maquelot y acamparon en Tájat.
27 From Tahath, they made camp at Terah.	27 Partieron de Tájat y acamparon en Táraj.
28 Departing from there, they pitched their tents at Mithkah.	28 Partieron de Táraj y acamparon en Mitcá.
29 And from Mithkah, they were encamped at Hashmonah.	29 Partieron de Mitcá y acamparon en Jasmoná.
30 And setting out from Hashmonah, they went to Moseroth.	30 Partieron de Jasmoná y acamparon en Moserot.
31 And from Moseroth, they made camp at Bene-jaakan.	31 Partieron de Moserot y acamparon en Bené Jacán.
32 And setting out from Bene-jaakan, they went to mount Gidgad.	32 Partieron de Bené Jacán y acamparon en Jor Guidgad.
33 Setting out from there, they were encamped at Jotbathah.	33 Partieron de Jor Guidgad y acamparon en Yotbatá.
34 And from Jotbathah, they went to Abronah.	34 Partieron de Yotbatá y acamparon en Abroná.
35 And departing from Abronah, they made camp at Eziongeber.	35 Partieron de Abroná y acamparon en Esión Guéber.
36 Setting out from there, they went into the desert of Sin, which is Kadesh.	36 Partieron de Esión Guéber y acamparon en el desierto de Sin, es decir, en Cadés.
37 And departing from Kadesh, they encamped at mount Hor, at the furthermost limits of the land of Edom.	37 Partieron de Cadés y acamparon en Hor de la Montaña, en la frontera de la tierra de Edón.
38 And Aaron the priest ascended onto mount Hor, by the order of the Lord. And there he died, in the fortieth year of the departure of the sons of Israel from Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month,	38 El sacerdote Aarón subió a Hor de la Montaña, por orden del Señor y allí murió, el año cuarenta de la salida de los hijos de Israel de Egipto, el día primero del mes quinto.
39 when he was one hundred twenty-three years old.	39 Tenía Aarón ciento veintitrés años cuando murió en Hor de la Montaña.
40 And king Arad the Canaanite, who lived toward the south, heard that the sons of Israel had arrived in the land of Canaan.	40 (El rey cananeo de Arad, que habitaba en el Negueb, en la tierra de Canaán, se enteró de que llegaban los hijos de Israel).
41 And setting out from mount Hor, they made camp at Zalmonah.	41 Partieron de Hor de la Montaña y acamparon en Salmoná.
42 Departing from there, they went to Punon.	42 Partieron de Salmoná y acamparon en Punón.
43 And setting out from Punon, they were encamped at Oboth.	43 Partieron de Punón y acamparon en Obot.
44 And from Oboth, they went to Iye-abarim, which is at the borders of the Moabites.	44 Partieron de Obot y acamparon en Iyé-Abarín, en la frontera de Moab.
45 And setting out from Iye-abarim, they fixed their tents at Dibon-gad.	45 Partieron de Iyín y acamparon en Dibón Gad.
46 Departing from there, they made camp at Almon-diblathaim.	46 Partieron de Dibón Gad y acamparon en Almón Diblatayin.
47 And departing from Almon-diblathaim, they went to the mountains of Abarim, opposite Nebo.	47 Partieron de Almón Diblatayin y acamparon en los montes de Abarín, frente al Nebo.
48 And setting out from the mountains of Abarim, they crossed over to the plains of Moab, above the Jordan, opposite Jericho.	48 Partieron de los montes de Abarín y acamparon en las estepas de Moab, cerca del Jordán, frente a Jericó.
49 And they made camp there, from Beth-jeshimoth all the way to Abel-shittim, in the level places of the Moabites,	49 Acamparon cerca del Jordán entre Bet Jesimot y Abel Sitín, en las estepas de Moab.
50 where the Lord said to Moses:	50 El Señor dijo a Moisés en las estepas de Moab, junto al Jordán, frente a Jericó:
51 “Instruct the sons of Israel, and say to them: When you will have crossed over the Jordan, entering into the land of Canaan,	51 «Di a los hijos de Israel: “Cuando paséis el Jordán para entrar en la tierra de Canaán,
52 destroy all the inhabitants of that land. Break their monuments, and shatter their statues, and lay waste to every exalted thing,	52 expulsaréis a vuestra llegada a todos los habitantes del país. Destruiréis todas sus imágenes pintadas y sus estatuas de fundición, y demoleréis todos sus santuarios.
53 cleansing the land and living in it. For I have given it you as a possession,	53 Apoderaos de la tierra y habitad en ella, pues voy a daros todo el país en propiedad.
54 which you shall divide among you by lot. To the greater number you shall give more, and to the lesser number, less. To each one, just as the lot shall fall, so shall the inheritance be distributed. The possession shall be divided by the tribes and families.	54 La repartiréis a suertes entre vuestros clanes. Al grande le aumentaréis la heredad y al pequeño se la reduciréis. Donde le caiga a cada uno la suerte, allí será su propiedad. Haréis el reparto por tribus.
55 But if you are not willing to put to death the inhabitants of the land, those who remain shall be to you like spikes in your eyes and lances in your sides, and they shall be adversaries to you in the land of your habitation.	55 Pero si no expulsáis a vuestra llegada a los habitantes del país, los que dejéis serán para vosotros espinas en vuestros ojos y aguijones en vuestros costados, y os oprimirán en el país en que vais a habitar
56 And whatever I had decided to do to them, I will do to you.”	56 Y yo os trataré a vosotros como había pensado tratarlos a ellos”».
