Psalms 47

1 A Canticle Psalm. To the sons of Korah, on the second Sabbath.	1 ψαλμος ωδης τοις υιοις κορε δευτερα σαββατου
2 The Lord is great and exceedingly praiseworthy, in the city of our God, on his holy mountain.	2 μεγας κυριος και αινετος σφοδρα εν πολει του θεου ημων ορει αγιω αυτου
3 Mount Zion is being founded with the exultation of the whole earth, on the north side, the city of the great king.	3 ευ ριζων αγαλλιαματι πασης της γης ορη σιων τα πλευρα του βορρα η πολις του βασιλεως του μεγαλου
4 In her houses, God will be known, since he will support her.	4 ο θεος εν ταις βαρεσιν αυτης γινωσκεται οταν αντιλαμβανηται αυτης
5 For behold, the kings of the earth have been gathered together; they have convened as one.	5 οτι ιδου οι βασιλεις συνηχθησαν ηλθοσαν επι το αυτο
6 Such did they see, and they were astonished: they were disturbed, they were moved.	6 αυτοι ιδοντες ουτως εθαυμασαν εταραχθησαν εσαλευθησαν
7 Trembling took hold of them. In that place, their pains were that of a woman in labor.	7 τρομος επελαβετο αυτων εκει ωδινες ως τικτουσης
8 With a vehement spirit, you will crush the ships of Tarshish.	8 εν πνευματι βιαιω συντριψεις πλοια θαρσις
9 As we have heard, so we have seen, in the city of the Lord of hosts, in the city of our God. God has founded it in eternity.	9 καθαπερ ηκουσαμεν ουτως ειδομεν εν πολει κυριου των δυναμεων εν πολει του θεου ημων ο θεος εθεμελιωσεν αυτην εις τον αιωνα διαψαλμα
10 We have received your mercy, O God, in the midst of your temple.	10 υπελαβομεν ο θεος το ελεος σου εν μεσω του ναου σου
11 According to your name, O God, so does your praise reach to the ends of the earth. Your right hand is full of justice.	11 κατα το ονομα σου ο θεος ουτως και η αινεσις σου επι τα περατα της γης δικαιοσυνης πληρης η δεξια σου
12 Let mount Zion rejoice, and let the daughters of Judah exult, because of your judgments, O Lord.	12 ευφρανθητω το ορος σιων αγαλλιασθωσαν αι θυγατερες της ιουδαιας ενεκεν των κριματων σου κυριε
13 Encircle Zion and embrace her. Discourse in her towers.	13 κυκλωσατε σιων και περιλαβετε αυτην διηγησασθε εν τοις πυργοις αυτης
14 Set your hearts on her virtue. And distribute her houses, so that you may discourse of it in another generation.	14 θεσθε τας καρδιας υμων εις την δυναμιν αυτης και καταδιελεσθε τας βαρεις αυτης οπως αν διηγησησθε εις γενεαν ετεραν
15 For this is God, our God, in eternity and forever and ever. He will rule us forever.	15 οτι ουτος εστιν ο θεος ο θεος ημων εις τον αιωνα και εις τον αιωνα του αιωνος αυτος ποιμανει ημας εις τους αιωνας
