1 Unto the end. For those who will be changed. To the sons of Korah, toward understanding. A Canticle for the Beloved.	1 (Per la fine. Per quelli che saran cangiati. Ai figli di Core. Meditazione. Per la persona amata).
2 My heart has uttered a good word. I speak of my works to the king. My tongue is like the pen of a scribe who writes quickly.	2 Un bel canto m'è sgorgato dal cuore, vo' recitare al re la mia canzone: la mia lingua è come la penna di veloce scrivano.
3 You are a brilliant form before the sons of men. Grace has been poured freely into your lips. Because of this, God has blessed you in eternity.	3 Tu sei il più bello tra i figlioli degli uomini, la grazia è diffusa sulle tue labbra, perciò Dio t'ha benedetto in eterno.
4 Fasten your sword to your thigh, O most powerful one.	4 Cingiti al fianco la spada, o prode:
5 With your splendor and your excellence extended, proceed prosperously, and reign for the sake of truth and meekness and justice, and so will your right hand lead you wondrously.	5 Nella tua maestà, nella tua bellezza tendi l'arco, trionfa e regna per la verità, per la dolcezza, per la giustizia: la tua destra ti farà maravigliosamente la strada.
6 Your arrows are sharp; the people will fall under you, with the hearts of the enemies of the king.	6 Le tue frecce sono acute e t'assoggettano i popoli, esse s'infliggono nei cuori dei nemici del re.
7 Your throne, O God, is forever and ever. The scepter of your kingdom is a scepter of true aim.	7 Il tuo trono è eterno, o Dio, lo scettro del tuo regno è scettro d'equità.
8 You have loved justice and hated iniquity. Because of this, God, your God, has anointed you, before your co-heirs, with the oil of gladness.	8 Tu ami la giustizia e odii l'iniquità; perciò, o Dio, il tuo Dio ti ha unto con unguento di letizia a preferenza dei tuoi compagni.
9 Myrrh and balsam and cinnamon perfume your garments, from the houses of ivory. From these, they have delighted you:	9 Profumo di mirra, d'aloe e di cassia vien dalle tue vesti, dai palazzi d'avorio, dai quali ti rallegrano,
10 the daughters of kings in your honor. The queen assisted at your right hand, in clothing of gold, encircled with diversity.	10 Le figlie del re ti fanno onore; alla tua destra sta la regina con veste ricamata d'oro e coperta d'ornamenti.
11 Listen, daughter, and see, and incline your ear. And forget your people and your father’s house.	11 Ascolta, o figlia, guarda e porgi l'orecchio, e dimentica il tuo popolo e la casa di tuo padre.
12 And the king will desire your beauty. For he is the Lord your God, and they will adore him.	12 E il re s'innamorerà della tua bellezza, egli, il Signore Dio tuo, che adoreranno.
13 And the daughters of Tyre will entreat your countenance with gifts: all the rich men of the people.	13 Le figlie di Tiro ti porteranno doni, ti porgeranno suppliche i ricchi del popolo.
14 All the glory of the daughter of its king is inside, in golden fringes,	14 Tutta la bellezza della figlia del re è interiore; essa ha le frange d'oro ed è coperta d'ornamenti.
15 clothed all around with diversities. After her, virgins will be led to the king. Her neighbors will be brought to you.	15 Son presentate al re dopo di lei le vergini, le compagne di lei sono a te condotte.
16 They will be brought with gladness and exultation. They will be led into the temple of the king.	16 Son condotte con festosa allegrezza, son fatte entrare nel palazzo reale.
17 For your fathers, sons have been born to you. You will establish them as leaders over all the earth.	17 In luogo dei tuoi padri verran su i tuoi figli; li costituirai principi sopra tutta la terra.
18 They will remember your name always, for generation after generation. Because of this, people will confess to you in eternity, even forever and ever.	18 Ricorderanno il tuo nome per tutte le generazioni, e i popoli ti loderanno in eterno pei secoli dei secoli.
