1 Therefore, Bezalel, and Oholiab, and every wise man, to whom the Lord gave wisdom and intelligence, so as to know how to work skillfully, made that which was necessary for the uses of the Sanctuary and which the Lord had instructed.	1 Besalèl, Ooliàb e tutti gli artisti che il Signore aveva dotati di saggezza e d’intelligenza per eseguire i lavori della costruzione del santuario fecero ogni cosa secondo ciò che il Signore aveva ordinato.
2 And when Moses had called them and every man of learning, to whom the Lord had given wisdom, and who, of their own accord, had offered themselves in order to accomplish this work,	2 Mosè chiamò Besalèl, Ooliàb e tutti gli artisti, nel cuore dei quali il Signore aveva messo saggezza, quanti erano portati a prestarsi per l’esecuzione dei lavori.
3 he handed over to them all the donations of the sons of Israel. And while they were pursuing this work, the people offered what they had vowed each day, in the morning.	3 Essi ricevettero da Mosè ogni contributo portato dagli Israeliti per il lavoro della costruzione del santuario. Ma gli Israeliti continuavano a portare ogni mattina offerte spontanee.
4 The artisans were compelled by this to go	4 Allora tutti gli artisti, che eseguivano i lavori per il santuario, lasciarono il lavoro che ciascuno stava facendo
5 to Moses and to say, “The people offer more than is needed.”	5 e dissero a Mosè: «Il popolo porta più di quanto è necessario per il lavoro che il Signore ha ordinato».
6 Therefore, Moses ordered this to be recited, with a voice of proclamation: “Let neither man nor woman offer anything further for the work of the Sanctuary.” And so they ceased from offering gifts,	6 Mosè allora ordinò di diffondere nell’accampamento questa voce: «Nessuno, uomo o donna, offra più alcuna cosa come contributo per il santuario». Così si impedì al popolo di portare altre offerte;
7 because what was offered was sufficient and was more than an abundance.	7 perché il materiale era sufficiente, anzi sovrabbondante, per l’esecuzione di tutti i lavori.
8 And all those who were wise of heart, in order to accomplish the work of the tabernacle, made ten curtains of fine twisted linen, and hyacinth, and purple, and twice-dyed scarlet, with diverse workmanship by the art of embroidery.	8 Tutti gli artisti addetti ai lavori fecero la Dimora. Besalèl la fece con dieci teli di bisso ritorto, di porpora viola, di porpora rossa e di scarlatto. La fece con figure di cherubini artisticamente lavorati.
9 Each of these was twenty-eight cubits in length, and in width, four. All the curtains were of one measure.	9 La lunghezza di ciascun telo era ventotto cubiti; la larghezza quattro cubiti per ciascun telo; la stessa dimensione per tutti i teli.
10 And he joined five curtains to one another, and the other five he coupled to one another.	10 Unì cinque teli l’uno all’altro e anche i cinque altri teli unì l’uno all’altro.
11 He also made loops of hyacinth along the edge of one curtain on both sides, and similarly along the edge of the other curtain,	11 Fece cordoni di porpora viola sull’orlo del primo telo all’estremità della sutura, e fece la stessa cosa sull’orlo del telo estremo nella seconda sutura.
12 so that the loops might meet against one another and might be joined together.	12 Fece cinquanta cordoni al primo telo e fece anche cinquanta cordoni all’estremità del telo della seconda sutura: i cordoni corrispondevano l’uno all’altro.
13 For these, he also cast fifty gold rings, which would retain the loops of the curtains and so make the tabernacle one.	13 Fece cinquanta fibbie d’oro, e unì i teli l’uno all’altro mediante le fibbie; così la Dimora formò un tutto unico.
14 He also made eleven canopies from the hair of goats, in order to cover the roof of the tabernacle:	14 Fece poi teli di peli di capra per la tenda sopra la Dimora. Fece undici teli.
15 one canopy held in length thirty cubits, and in width four cubits. All the canopies were of one measure.	15 La lunghezza di un telo era trenta cubiti; la larghezza quattro cubiti per un telo; la stessa dimensione per gli undici teli.
16 Five of these he joined by themselves, and the other six separately.	16 Unì insieme cinque teli a parte e sei teli a parte.
17 And he made fifty loops along the edge of one canopy, and fifty along the edge of the other canopy, so that they might be joined to one another,	17 Fece cinquanta cordoni sull’orlo del telo della seconda sutura.
18 and fifty buckles of brass, with which the roof might be woven together, so that from all the canopies there would be made one covering.	18 Fece cinquanta fibbie di bronzo per unire insieme la tenda, così da formare un tutto unico.
19 He also made a covering for the tabernacle from the skins of rams, dyed-red; and another cover above it, from violet skins.	19 Fece poi per la tenda una copertura di pelli di montone tinte di rosso, e al di sopra una copertura di pelli di tasso.
20 He also made the standing panels of the tabernacle, from setim wood.	20 Fece per la Dimora assi di legno di acacia, verticali.
21 Ten cubits was the length of one panel, and one and one half cubits comprised the width.	21 Dieci cubiti la lunghezza di un’asse e un cubito e mezzo la larghezza.
22 There were two dovetails along every panel, so that one might be joined to the other. Thus did he make all the panels of the tabernacle.	22 Ogni asse aveva due sostegni, congiunti l’uno all’altro da un rinforzo. Così fece per tutte le assi della Dimora.
23 Of these, twenty were toward the meridian area, opposite the south,	23 Fece dunque le assi per la Dimora: venti assi sul lato verso il mezzogiorno, a sud.
24 with forty bases of silver. Two bases were set under one panel at each of two sides at the corners, where the joints of the sides terminate in corners.	24 Fece anche quaranta basi d’argento sotto le venti assi, due basi sotto un’asse, per i suoi due sostegni, e due basi sotto l’altra asse, per i suoi due sostegni.
25 Likewise, at that side of the tabernacle which looks toward the north, he made twenty panels,	25 Per il secondo lato della Dimora, verso il settentrione, fece venti assi
26 with forty bases of silver, two bases for each board.	26 e le loro quaranta basi d’argento, due basi sotto un’asse e due basi sotto l’altra asse.
27 Yet truly, opposite the west, that is, toward that part of the tabernacle which looks out toward the sea, he made six panels,	27 Per la parte posteriore della Dimora, verso occidente, fece sei assi.
28 and two others at each corner of the tabernacle at the back,	28 Fece inoltre due assi per gli angoli della Dimora nella parte posteriore.
29 which were joined from bottom to top and held together by one joint. So did he make both corners on that side.	29 Esse erano formate ciascuna da due pezzi uguali, abbinati e perfettamente congiunti dal basso fino alla cima, all’altezza del primo anello. Così fece per ambedue: esse vennero a formare i due angoli.
30 So then, there were altogether eight panels, and they had sixteen bases of silver, with, of course, two bases under each panel.	30 C’erano dunque otto assi con le loro basi d’argento: sedici basi, due basi sotto un’asse e due basi sotto l’altra asse.
31 He also made bars from setim wood: five to hold together the panels at one side of the tabernacle,	31 Fece inoltre traverse di legno di acacia: cinque per le assi di un lato della Dimora,
32 and five others to fit together the panels of the other side, and, in addition to these, five other bars toward the western area of the tabernacle, opposite the sea.	32 cinque traverse per le assi dell’altro lato della Dimora e cinque traverse per le assi della parte posteriore, verso occidente.
33 He also made another bar, which came through the middle of the panels from corner to corner.	33 Fece la traversa mediana che, a mezza altezza delle assi, le attraversava da un’estremità all’altra.
34 But the panels themselves he overlaid with gold, casting silver bases for them. And he made their rings from gold, through which the bars might be able to be drawn. And he covered the bars themselves with layers of gold.	34 Rivestì d’oro le assi, fece in oro i loro anelli per inserire le traverse, e rivestì d’oro anche le traverse.
35 He also made a veil from hyacinth, and purple, from vermillion as well as fine twisted linen, with varied and distinctive embroidery,	35 Fece il velo di porpora viola e di porpora rossa, di scarlatto e di bisso ritorto. Lo fece con figure di cherubini, lavoro d’artista.
36 and four columns of setim wood, which, along with their heads, he overlaid with gold, casting silver bases for them.	36 Fece per esso quattro colonne di acacia, le rivestì d’oro; anche i loro uncini erano d’oro, e fuse per esse quattro basi d’argento.
37 He also made a tent at the entrance of the tabernacle from hyacinth, purple, vermillion, and fine twisted linen, wrought with embroidery,	37 Fecero poi una cortina per l’ingresso della tenda, di porpora viola e di porpora rossa, di scarlatto e di bisso ritorto, lavoro di ricamatore,
38 and five columns with their heads, which he covered with gold, and he cast their bases from brass.	38 e le sue cinque colonne con i loro uncini. Rivestì d’oro i loro capitelli e le loro aste trasversali, e fece le loro cinque basi di bronzo.
