NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 Later on, Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples. It was by the Sea of Tiberias, and it happenedlike this:	1 بعد هذا اظهر ايضا يسوع نفسه للتلاميذ على بحر طبرية. ظهر هكذا.
2 Simon Peter, Thomas called the Twin, Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee and twomore of his disciples were together.	2 كان سمعان بطرس وتوما الذي يقال له التوأم ونثنائيل الذي من قانا الجليل وابنا زبدي واثنان آخران من تلاميذه مع بعضهم.
3 Simon Peter said, 'I'm going fishing.' They replied, 'We'l come with you.' They went out and got intothe boat but caught nothing that night.	3 قال لهم سمعان بطرس انا اذهب لأتصيد. قالوا له نذهب نحن ايضا معك. فخرجوا ودخلوا السفينة للوقت وفي تلك الليلة لم يمسكوا شيئا.
4 When it was already light, there stood Jesus on the shore, though the disciples did not realise that itwas Jesus.	4 ولما كان الصبح وقف يسوع على الشاطئ. ولكن التلاميذ لم يكونوا يعلمون انه يسوع.
5 Jesus cal ed out, 'Haven't you caught anything, friends?' And when they answered, 'No,'	5 فقال لهم يسوع يا غلمان ألعل عندكم إداما. اجابوه لا.
6 he said, 'Throw the net out to starboard and you'l find something.' So they threw the net out and couldnot haul it in because of the quantity of fish.	6 فقال لهم القوا الشبكة الى جانب السفينة الايمن فتجدوا. فالقوا ولم يعودوا يقدرون ان يجذبوها من كثرة السمك.
7 The disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, 'It is the Lord.' At these words, 'It is the Lord,' SimonPeter tied his outer garment round him (for he had nothing on) and jumped into the water.	7 فقال ذلك التلميذ الذي كان يسوع يحبه لبطرس هو الرب. فلما سمع سمعان بطرس انه الرب أتزر بثوبه لانه كان عريانا والقى نفسه في البحر.
8 The other disciples came on in the boat, towing the net with the fish; they were only about a hundredyards from land.	8 واما التلاميذ الآخرون فجاءوا بالسفينة لانهم لم يكونوا بعيدين عن الارض الا نحو مئتي ذراع وهم يجرّون شبكة السمك.
9 As soon as they came ashore they saw that there was some bread there and a charcoal fire with fishcooking on it.	9 فلما خرجوا الى الارض نظروا جمرا موضوعا وسمكا موضوعا عليه وخبزا.
10 Jesus said, 'Bring some of the fish you have just caught.'	10 قال لهم يسوع قدموا من السمك الذي امسكتم الآن.
11 Simon Peter went aboard and dragged the net ashore, full of big fish, one hundred and fifty-three ofthem; and in spite of there being so many the net was not broken.	11 فصعد سمعان بطرس وجذب الشبكة الى الارض ممتلئة سمكا كبيرا مئة وثلاثا وخمسين. ومع هذه الكثرة لم تتخرق الشبكة.
12 Jesus said to them, 'Come and have breakfast.' None of the disciples was bold enough to ask, 'Whoare you?'. They knew quite well it was the Lord.	12 قال لهم يسوع هلموا تغدوا. ولم يجسر احد من التلاميذ ان يسأله من انت اذ كانوا يعلمون انه الرب.
13 Jesus then stepped forward, took the bread and gave it to them, and the same with the fish.	13 ثم جاء يسوع واخذ الخبز واعطاهم وكذلك السمك.
14 This was the third time that Jesus revealed himself to the disciples after rising from the dead.	14 هذه مرة ثالثة ظهر يسوع لتلاميذه بعد ما قام من الاموات
15 When they had eaten, Jesus said to Simon Peter, 'Simon son of John, do you love me more thanthese others do?' He answered, 'Yes, Lord, you know I love you.' Jesus said to him, 'Feed my lambs.'	15 فبعدما تغدوا قال يسوع لسمعان بطرس يا سمعان بن يونا أتحبني اكثر من هؤلاء. قال له نعم يا رب انت تعلم اني احبك. قال له ارع خرافي.
16 A second time he said to him, 'Simon son of John, do you love me?' He replied, 'Yes, Lord, you knowI love you.' Jesus said to him, 'Look after my sheep.'	16 قال له ايضا ثانية يا سمعان بن يونا أتحبني. قال له نعم يا رب انت تعلم اني احبك. قال له ارع غنمي.
17 Then he said to him a third time, 'Simon son of John, do you love me?' Peter was hurt that he askedhim a third time, 'Do you love me?' and said, 'Lord, you know everything; you know I love you.' Jesus said to him,'Feed my sheep.	17 قال له ثالثة يا سمعان بن يونا أتحبني. فحزن بطرس لانه قال له ثالثة أتحبني فقال له يا رب انت تعلم كل شيء. انت تعرف اني احبك. قال له يسوع ارع غنمي.
18 In all truth I tell you, when you were young you put on your own belt and walked where you liked; butwhen you grow old you wil stretch out your hands, and somebody else wil put a belt round you and take youwhere you would rather not go.'	18 الحق الحق اقول لك لما كنت اكثر حداثة كنت تمنطق ذاتك وتمشي حيث تشاء. ولكن متى شخت فانك تمد يديك وآخر يمنطقك ويحملك حيث لا تشاء.
19 In these words he indicated the kind of death by which Peter would give glory to God. After this hesaid, 'Fol ow me.'	19 قال هذا مشيرا الى اية ميتة كان مزمعا ان يمجد الله بها. ولما قال هذا قال له اتبعني.
20 Peter turned and saw the disciple whom Jesus loved fol owing them -- the one who had leant backclose to his chest at the supper and had said to him, 'Lord, who is it that will betray you?'	20 فالتفت بطرس ونظر التلميذ الذي كان يسوع يحبه يتبعه وهو ايضا الذي اتكأ على صدره وقت العشاء وقال يا سيد من هو الذي يسلمك.
21 Seeing him, Peter said to Jesus, 'What about him, Lord?'	21 فلما رأى بطرس هذا قال ليسوع يا رب وهذا ما له.
22 Jesus answered, 'If I want him to stay behind till I come, what does it matter to you? You are to followme.'	22 قال له يسوع ان كنت اشاء انه يبقى حتى اجيء فماذا لك. اتبعني انت.
23 The rumour then went out among the brothers that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus had not saidto Peter, 'He wil not die,' but, 'If I want him to stay behind til I come.'	23 فذاع هذا القول بين الاخوة ان ذلك التلميذ لا يموت. ولكن لم يقل له يسوع انه لا يموت. بل ان كنت اشاء انه يبقى حتى اجيء فماذا لك
24 This disciple is the one who vouches for these things and has written them down, and we know thathis testimony is true.	24 هذا هو التلميذ الذي يشهد بهذا وكتب هذا. ونعلم ان شهادته حق.
25 There was much else that Jesus did; if it were written down in detail, I do not suppose the world itselfwould hold al the books that would be written.	25 واشياء أخر كثيرة صنعها يسوع ان كتبت واحدة واحدة فلست اظن ان العالم نفسه يسع الكتب المكتوبة آمين
