NEW JERUSALEM	Biblia Matos Soares
1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	1 Foi-me dirigida a palavra do Senhor nestes termos;
2 'Son of man, turn towards Gog, to the country of Magog, towards the paramount prince of Meshechand Tubal, and prophesy against him.	2 Filho de homem, volta o teu rosto para Gog, na terra de Magog, príncipe soberano de Mosoc e de Tubal e profetiza acerca dele.
3 Say, "The Lord Yahweh says this: I am against you, Gog, paramount prince of Meshech and Tubal.	3 Dirás: Assim fala o Senhor Deus: Eis que venho contra ti, Gog, príncipe soberano de Mosoc e de Tubal;
4 I shal turn you about, I shall fix hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your entire army, horses andhorsemen, al perfectly equipped, a huge array armed with shields and bucklers, and al wielding swords.	4 far-te-ei ir e vir (para onde quiser) pôr-te-ei um freio nos queixos, tirar-te-ei para fora. a ti e a todo o,teu exército, aos cavalos e aos cavaleiros, todos cobertos de couraças, uma grande multidão de homens, brandindo lanças, embraçando escudos e empunhando espadas.
5 Persia and Cush and Put are with them, al with buckler and helmet;	5 Persas, Etíopes e Líbios estarão com eles, todos de escudos e capacetes.
6 Gomer and al its troops, Beth-Togarmah in the far north and al its troops, and many nations with you.	6 Gomer e todas as suas tropas, a casa de Togorma, dos confins do aquilão, com todas as suas forças, povos numerosos estarão contigo.

8 "Many days will pass before you are given orders; in the final years you wil march on this country,whose inhabitants wil have been living in confidence, remote from other peoples, since they escaped the swordand were gathered in from various nations, here in the long-deserted mountains of Israel.	8 Depois de muitos dias, receberás ordens; ao fim de anos irás a uma nação que foi salva 'da espada e que, tirada dentre muitos povos, foi congregada nos montes de Israel, que estiveram muito tempo desertos, nação tirada dentre os povos, que vive toda sem receio.
9 Like a storm you wil approach, you wil advance and cover the country like a cloud, you, al yourtroops and many nations with you.	9 Avançando, irás a ela como uma tempestade e como uma nuvem, para cobrir a terra, tu e todos os teus esquadrões, muitos povos contigo.
10 "The Lord Yahweh says this: That day, a thought wil enter your mind and you wil form a sinisterplan.	10 Isto diz o Senhor Deus; Naquele dia formarás em teu coração altivos projectos, forjarás planos malignos.
11 You wil think: I shal attack this undefended country and march on this peaceful nation living secure,al living in towns without wal s or bars or gates.	11 Dirás; Irei contra uma terra que está sem muros, atacarei homens em paz, que habitam com segurança; todos eles têm habitações sem muros, sem ferrolhos nem portas.
12 You wil come to plunder and loot and turn your might against the ruins they live in, against thispeople gathered back from the nations, these stock-breeders and traders who live at the Navel of the World.	12 (Tu irás) para saquear, tomar despojos, para descarregar a tua mão sobre ruínas (agora) habitadas, sobre um povo que foi congregado do meio das nações, o qual multiplica rebanhos e bens. e habita (o pais que era considerado como) o centro (das nações) da terra.
13 Sheba and Dedan, the merchants and all the magnates of Tarshish wil ask you: Have you come forplunder? Are you massing your troops with a view to looting? To make off with gold and silver, seize cattle and goods, and come away with unlimited spoil?"	13 Sabá, Dedan, os negociantes de Tarsis e todos os seus leões (ou príncipes) dir-te-ão: Porventura vens fazer pilhagem? Juntaste essa tua multidão para saquear, para levar prata e ouro, para tirar rebanhos e bens, para tomar um enorme despojo?
14 'So, son of man, prophesy. Say to Gog, "The Lord Yahweh says this: Is it not true that you will set outat a time when my people Israel is living secure?	14 Por isso tu, filho de homem, profetiza, dize a Gog: Assim fala o Senhor Deus: Porventura não saberás bem o dia em que o meu povo de Israel viverá com toda a segurança?
15 You wil leave your home in the far north, you and many nations with you, a great army of countlesstroops all mounted.	15 Virás então do teu país, lá dos confins do aquilão, tu e muitos povos contigo, montados todos a cavalo, multidão Imensa, exército poderoso.
16 You wil invade Israel, my people. You will be like a cloud covering the country. In the final days, Imyself shal bring you to attack my country, so that the nations will know who I am, when I display my holiness tothem, by means of you, Gog.	16 Dirigir-te-ás contra o meu povo de Israel, como uma nuvem de tempestade que cobre o país. Acontecerá nos últimos dias. que te farei vir sobre a minha terra, para que as nações me conheçam quando for santificado em ti a seus olhos, ó Gog.
17 "The Lord Yahweh says this: It was of you that I spoke in the past through my servants the prophetsof Israel, who prophesied in those days, foretel ing your invasion.	17 Eis o que diz o Senhor Deus: Tu és aquele de quem falei nos séculos passados, por meio de meus servos, os profetas de Israel, quando profetizaram naqueles tempos, que eu te faria vir contra eles.
18 The day Gog attacks the land of Israel -- declares the Lord Yahweh -- my furious wrath will boil up. Inmy anger,	18 Naquele dia, no dia da chegada de Gog à terra de Israel, diz o Senhor Deus, a minha indignação subirá.
19 in my jealousy, in the heat of my fury I say it: That day, I swear, there wil be such a huge earthquakein the land of Israel,	19 Digo-o no meu zelo, no fogo da minha ira: Naquele dia haverá uma grande comoção sobre a terra de Israel;
20 that the fish in the sea and the birds of heaven, the wild beasts, al the reptiles creeping along theground, and al people on the surface of the earth will quake before me. Mountains wil fall, cliffs crumble, alwal s col apse, and	20 os peixes do mar, as aves do céu, os animais do campo, todos os répteis que se movem sobre a terra, todos os homens que há sobre a face da terra tremerão diante de mim; os montes serão deitados abaixo, os rochedos tombarão, todas as muralhas cairão por terra.
21 I shal summon every kind of sword against him -- declares the Lord Yahweh -- and each will turn hissword against his comrade.	21 Chamarei contra ele a espada sobre todos os meus montes, diz o Senhor Deus; a espada de cada um se voltará contra seu irmão.
22 I shal punish him with plague and bloodshed, and rain down torrential rain, hailstones, fire andbrimstone on him, on his troops and on the many nations with him.	22 Exercerei os meus juízos contra ele, pela peste, pelo sangue; farei cair chuvas torrenciais, saraivadas, fogo e enxofre, sobre ele, sobre o seu exército e sobre os numerosos povos que estão com ele.
23 I shal display my greatness and holiness and bring the many nations to acknowledge me; and theywil know that I am Yahweh." '	23 Com isto manifestarei a minha grandeza e a minha santidade, far-me-ei conhecer aos olhos de muitas nações, e saberão que eu sou o Senhor.
