Psalms 23

NEW JERUSALEM	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 [Psalm Of David] Yahweh is my shepherd, I lack nothing.	1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 In grassy meadows he lets me lie. By tranquil streams he leads me	2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 to restore my spirit. He guides me in paths of saving justice as befits his name.	3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4 Even were I to walk in a ravine as dark as death I should fear no danger, for you are at my side. Yourstaff and your crook are there to soothe me.	4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table for me under the eyes of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup brimsover.	5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Kindness and faithful love pursue me every day of my life. I make my home in the house of Yahwehfor all time to come.	6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
