1 [Song of Ascents] Yahweh, my heart is not haughty, I do not set my sights too high. I have taken nopart in great affairs, in wonders beyond my scope.	1 LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
2 No, I hold myself in quiet and silence, like a little child in its mother's arms, like a little child, so I keepmyself.	2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.
3 Let Israel hope in Yahweh henceforth and for ever.	3 Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.
