1 Let mutual love continue.	1 Conservad el amor fraterno
2 Do not neglect hospitality, for through it some have unknowingly entertained angels.	2 y no olvidéis la hospitalidad: por ella algunos, sin saberlo, hospedaron a ángeles.
3 Be mindful of prisoners as if sharing their imprisonment, and of the ill-treated as of yourselves, for you also are in the body.	3 Acordaos de los presos como si estuvierais presos con ellos; de los que son maltratados como si estuvierais en su carne.
4 Let marriage be honored among all and the marriage bed be kept undefiled, for God will judge the immoral and adulterers.	4 Que todos respeten el matrimonio; el lecho nupcial, que nadie lo mancille, porque a los impuros y adúlteros Dios los juzgará.
5 Let your life be free from love of money but be content with what you have, for he has said, "I will never forsake you or abandon you."	5 Vivid sin ansia de dinero, contentándoos con lo que tengáis, pues él mismo dijo: Nunca te dejaré ni te abandonaré;
6 Thus we may say with confidence: "The Lord is my helper, (and) I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?"	6 así tendremos valor para decir: | El Señor es mi auxilio: nada temo; | ¿qué podrá hacerme el hombre?
7 Remember your leaders who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.	7 Acordaos de vuestros guías, que os anunciaron la palabra de Dios; fijaos en el desenlace de su vida e imitad su fe.
8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.	8 Jesucristo es el mismo ayer y hoy y siempre.
9 Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teaching. It is good to have our hearts strengthened by grace and not by foods, which do not benefit those who live by them.	9 No os dejéis arrastrar por doctrinas complicadas y extrañas; lo importante es robustecerse interiormente por la gracia y no con prescripciones alimenticias, que de nada valieron a los que las observaban.
10 We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat.	10 Nosotros tenemos un altar del que no tienen derecho a comer los que dan culto en el tabernáculo;
11 The bodies of the animals whose blood the high priest brings into the sanctuary as a sin offering are burned outside the camp.	11 porque los cuerpos de los animales, cuya sangre lleva el sumo sacerdote para el rito de la expiación, se queman fuera del campamento;
12 Therefore, Jesus also suffered outside the gate, to consecrate the people by his own blood.	12 y por eso Jesús, para consagrar al pueblo con su propia sangre, murió fuera de la puerta.
13 Let us then go to him outside the camp, bearing the reproach that he bore.	13 Salgamos, pues, hacia él, fuera del campamento, cargados con su oprobio;
14 For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the one that is to come.	14 que aquí no tenemos ciudad permanente, sino que andamos en busca de la futura.
15 Through him (then) let us continually offer God a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of lips that confess his name.	15 Por medio de él, ofrezcamos continuamente a Dios un sacrificio de alabanza, es decir, el fruto de unos labios que confiesan su nombre.
16 Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have; God is pleased by sacrifices of that kind.	16 No os olvidéis de hacer el bien y de ayudaros mutuamente; esos son los sacrificios que agradan a Dios.
17 Obey your leaders and defer to them, for they keep watch over you and will have to give an account, that they may fulfill their task with joy and not with sorrow, for that would be of no advantage to you.	17 Obedeced y someteos a vuestros guías, pues ellos se desvelan por vuestro bien, sabiéndose responsables; así lo harán con alegría y sin lamentarse, cosa que no os aprovecharía.
18 Pray for us, for we are confident that we have a clear conscience, wishing to act rightly in every respect.	18 Rezad por nosotros; estamos convencidos de tener la conciencia limpia, y deseos de proceder en todo noblemente.
19 I especially ask for your prayers that I may be restored to you very soon.	19 Con la mayor insistencia os pido que lo hagáis para que muy pronto os sea yo devuelto.
20 May the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great shepherd of the sheep by the blood of the eternal covenant, Jesus our Lord,	20 Que el Dios de la paz, que hizo retornar de entre los muertos al gran pastor de las ovejas, Jesús Señor nuestro, en virtud de la sangre de la alianza eterna,
21 furnish you with all that is good, that you may do his will. May he carry out in you what is pleasing to him through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever (and ever). Amen.	21 os confirme en todo bien para que cumpláis su voluntad, realizando en nosotros lo que es de su agrado por medio de Jesucristo. A él la gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.
22 Brothers, I ask you to bear with this message of encouragement, for I have written to you rather briefly.	22 Os ruego, hermanos, que soportéis esta exhortación; por eso os he escrito brevemente.
23 I must let you know that our brother Timothy has been set free. If he comes soon, I shall see you together with him.	23 Sabed que nuestro hermano Timoteo ha sido liberado. Si llega pronto, iré con él a veros.
24 Greetings to all your leaders and to all the holy ones. Those from Italy send you greetings.	24 Saludad a todos vuestros dirigentes, y a todos los santos: os saludan los de Italia.
25 Grace be with all of you.	25 La gracia esté con todos vosotros.
