2 Thessalonians 1

1 Paul, Silvanus, and Timothy to the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ:	1 Paolo, Silvano e Timòteo alla Chiesa dei Tessalonicesi che è in Dio Padre nostro e nel Signore Gesù Cristo:
2 grace to you and peace from God (our) Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.	2 grazia a voi e pace da Dio Padre e dal Signore Gesù Cristo.
3 We ought to thank God always for you, brothers, as is fitting, because your faith flourishes ever more, and the love of every one of you for one another grows ever greater.	3 Dobbiamo sempre ringraziare Dio per voi, fratelli, ed è ben giusto. La vostra fede infatti cresce rigogliosamente e abbonda la vostra carità vicendevole;
4 Accordingly, we ourselves boast of you in the churches of God regarding your endurance and faith in all your persecutions and the afflictions you endure.	4 così noi possiamo gloriarci di voi nelle Chiese di Dio, per la vostra fermezza e per la vostra fede in tutte le persecuzioni e tribolazioni che sopportate.
5 This is evidence of the just judgment of God, so that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God for which you are suffering.	5 Questo è un segno del giusto giudizio di Dio, che vi proclamerà degni di quel regno di Dio, per il quale ora soffrite.
