Zechariah 6

1 Again I raised my eyes and saw four chariots coming out from between two mountains; and the mountains were of bronze.	1 E mi volsi, e alzai gli occhi, e vidi apparire quattro cocchi dalla gola di due montagne: e le montagne (eran) montagne di bronzo.
2 The first chariot had red horses, the second chariot black horses,	2 Al primo cocchio cavalli rossi, al secondo cocchio cavalli neri.
3 the third chariot white horses, and the fourth chariot spotted horses--all of them strong horses.	3 E al terzo cocchio cavalli bianchi, e al quarto cocchio cavalli pezzati, e vigorosi.
4 I asked the angel who spoke with me, "What are these, my lord?"	4 E io dissi all'Angelo, che parlava in me: Che cose son queste, Signor mio?
5 The angel said to me in reply, "These are the four winds of the heavens, which are coming forth after being reviewed by the LORD of all the earth."	5 E l'Angelo rispose, e dissemi: Questi sono i quattro venti del cielo, che vengon fuora per presentarsi dinanzi al Dominatore di tutta la terra.
6 The chariot with the black horses was turning toward the land of the north, the red and the white horses went after them, and the spotted ones went toward the land of the south.	6 Quello, che avea i cavalli neri, si movea verso la terra di settentrione, e i cavalli bianchi gli andaron dietro; e i pezzati andaron verso il paese di mezzodì.
7 As these strong horses emerged, eager to set about patrolling the earth, he said, "Go, patrol the earth!" Then, as they patrolled the earth,	7 E questi, che erano fortissimi, usciti che furono, bramavan di scorrere tutta la terra. É quegli disse: Andate, scorrete la terra; e quegli scorser la terra.
8 he called out to me and said, "See, they that go forth to the land of the north will make my spirit rest in the land of the north."	8 E quegli mi chiamò, e mi parlò, e disse: Ecco che quelli, i quali vanno nella terra di settentrione, hanno fatto, che si posasse il mio spirito nella terra di settentrione.
9 This word of the LORD then came to me:	9 E il Signore parlò a me; e disse:
10 Take from the returned captives Heldai, Tobijah, Jedaiah; and go the same day to the house of Josiah, son of Zephaniah (these had come from Babylon).	10 Prendi i doni di quelli della trasmigrazione, da Holdai, e da Tobia, e da Idaia venuti da Babilonia, e anderai il tal giorno, ed entrerai nella casa di Josia figliuolo di Sofonia.
11 Silver and gold you shall take, and make a crown; place it on the head of (Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest) Zerubbabel.	11 E prenderai l'oro, e l'argento, e ne farai corone da mettere sulla testa di Gesù figliuolo di Josedec sommo Sacerdote.
12 And say to him: Thus says the LORD of hosts: Here is a man whose name is Shoot, and where he is he shall sprout, and he shall build the temple of the LORD.	12 E parlerai a lui, egli dirai: Queste cose dice il Signore degli eserciti: Ecco l'uomo, il cui nome è l'Oriente, ed ei germinerà da se stesso, ed egli edificherà il tempio al Signore.
13 Yes, he shall build the temple of the LORD, and taking up the royal insignia, he shall sit as ruler upon his throne. The priest shall be put at his right hand, and between the two of them there shall be friendly understanding.	13 Egli edificherà il tempio al Signore, ed egli sarà ammantato di gloria, e siederà, e regnerà sul suo trono, e il sacerdote si starà sul suo trono, e sarà tra questi due unione di pace.
14 The crown itself shall be a memorial offering in the temple of the LORD in favor of Heldai, Tobijah, Jedaiah, and the son of Zephaniah.	14 E le corone saranno un monumento per Helem, e Tobia, e Idaia, ed Hem figliuolo di Sofonia nel tempio del Signore.
15 And they who are from afar shall come and build the temple of the LORD, and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you. And if you heed carefully the voice of the LORD your God. . . .	15 E i più lontani verranno, e lavoreranno attorno al tempio del Signore; e voi conoscerete, che il Signore degli eserciti mi ha mandato a voi. Or questo avverrà, se voi ascolterete con docilità la voce del Signore Dio vostro.
