1 On the tenth day of the month beginning the twenty-fifth year of our exile, fourteen years after the city was taken, that very day the hand of the LORD came upon me and brought me	1 El año vigesimoquinto de nuestro exilio, al comienzo del año, el décimo día del mes, es decir, catorce años después de la destrucción de la ciudad, ese mismo día, la mano del Señor descendió sobre mí, y él me llevó allá.
2 in divine visions to the land of Israel, where he set me down on a very high mountain. On it there seemed to be a city being built before me.	2 En una visión divina, me llevó a la tierra de Israel y me posó sobre una montaña muy alta, sobre la que había algo así como las construcciones de una ciudad, al sur.
3 When he had brought me there, all at once I saw a man whose appearance was that of bronze; he was standing in the gate, holding a linen cord and a measuring rod.	3 El me llevó hasta allí, y yo vi a un hombre que por su aspecto parecía de bronce, con una cuerda de lino y una vara de medir en la mano. Estaba de pie en el pórtico.
4 The man said to me, "Son of man, look carefully and listen intently, and pay strict attention to all that I will show you, for you have been brought here so that I might show it to you. Tell the house of Israel all that you see."	4 El hombre me dijo: «Hijo de hombre, mira bien, escucha cuidadosamente y presta atención a todo lo que te voy a mostrar, porque has sido traído aquí para que yo te muestre todo esto. Comunica luego al pueblo de Israel todo lo que vas a ver».
5 (Then I saw an outer wall that completely surrounded the temple. The man was holding a measuring rod six cubits long, each cubit being a cubit and a handbreadth; he measured the width and the height of the structure, each of which were found to be one rod.)	5 Allí había un muro, que rodeaba toda la parte exterior de la Casa. La vara de medir que el hombre tenía en la mano era de seis codos, a razón de codo y palmo, es decir, de medio metro por cada codo. El hombre midió el espesor y la altura de la construcción, y ambos medían una vara.
6 Then he went to the gate which faced the east, climbed its steps, and measured the gate's threshold, which was found to be a rod wide.	6 Luego fue hasta la puerta que daba en dirección al oriente, subió sus gradas y midió el umbral de la puerta: su anchura era de una vara.
7 The cells were a rod long and a rod wide, and the pilasters between the cells measured five cubits. The threshold of the gate adjoining the vestibule of the gate toward the inside measured one rod.	7 Cada celda lateral medía una vara de largo por una de ancho; el espacio entre una celda y otra era de dos metros y medio; y el umbral de la puerta, por el lado del vestíbulo de la puerta, hacia el interior, era de una vara.
8 He measured the vestibule of the gate,	8 El midió el vestíbulo de la puerta:
9 which was eight cubits, and its pilasters, which were two cubits. The vestibule of the gate was toward the inside.	9 este tenía cuatro metros, y sus pilares eran de un metro. El vestíbulo de la puerta estaba situado hacia el interior.
10 The cells of the east gate were three on either side, of equal size, and the pilasters on either side were also of equal size.	10 Las celdas de la puerta que daba hacia el este, eran tres de un lado y tres del otro, y todas tenían la misma dimensión. 11 He measured the gate's entrance, which was ten cubits wide, while the width of the gate's passage itself was thirteen cubits.	11 El midió la anchura de la entrada de la puerta, que era de cinco metros, y la longitud de la puerta, que era de seis metros y medio.
12 The border before each of the cells on both sides was one cubit; the cells themselves were six cubits on either side, from opening to opening.	12 Delante de las celdas, a uno y otro lado, había una baranda de medio metro; y cada celda medía tres metros por tres.

16 Within the gateway on both sides there were splayed windows let into the cells (and into their pilasters); likewise, within the vestibule on both sides there were windows. 17 Then he brought me to the outer court, where there were chambers and a pavement. 19 He measured the width of the court from the front of the lower gate to the front of the inner gate; it was one hundred cubits between them. 21 Its cells, three on either side, its pilasters, and its vestibule had the same measurements as those of the first gate; it was fifty cubits long and twenty-five cubits wide.	21 Sus celdas –tres de un lado y tres del otro–, sus pilares y su vestíbulo tenían la misma dimensión que los de la primera puerta: veinticinco metros de largo y doce metros y medio de ancho.
22 Its windows, the windows of its vestibule, and its palm decorations were of the same proportions as those of the gate facing the east. Seven steps led up to it, and its vestibule was toward the inside.	22 Sus ventanas, su vestíbulo y sus palmeras tenían la misma dimensión que las de la puerta que daba hacia el este. 29 its cells, its pilasters, and its vestibule were the same size as the others. 32 Then he brought me to the gate facing the east, where he measured the gate, whose dimensions were found to be the same.	32 El hombre me llevó hasta el atrio interior, hacia el este, y midió la puerta: esta tenía la misma dimensión de las anteriores.

42 There were four tables for holocausts, made of cut stone, one and a half cubits long, one and a half cubits wide, and one cubit high.	42 Además, había cuatro mesas para el holocausto, talladas en piedra, que tenían setenta y cinco centímetros de largo, setenta y cinco de ancho y cincuenta de alto. 43 The ledges, a handbreadth wide, were set on the inside all around, and on them were laid the instruments with which the holocausts were slaughtered. On the tables themselves the flesh was laid.	43 En la parte interior, había unas ranuras de un palmo dispuestas alrededor. Sobre estas mesas se colocaba la carne de las ofrendas.
44 He then led me to the inner court where there were two chambers, one beside the north gate, facing south, and the other beside the south gate, facing north.	44 El hombre me llevó hacia el atrio interior, y vi que en él había dos habitaciones, una sobre el lado de la puerta del norte, en dirección al sur, y otra sobre el lado de la puerta del sur, en dirección al norte.
45 He said to me, "This chamber which faces south is for the priests who have charge of the temple,	45 El me dijo: «Esta habitación que da hacia el sur es para los sacerdotes encargados del culto de la Casa,
46 and the chamber which faces north is for the priests who have charge of the altar. These are the Zadokites, the only Levites who may come near to minister to the LORD."	46 y la habitación que da hacia el norte es para los sacerdotes encargados del culto del altar. Estos son los hijos de Sadoc, aquellos levitas que se acercan al Señor para servirlo».
47 Then he measured the court, which was a hundred cubits long and a hundred cubits wide, a perfect square. The altar stood in front of the temple.	47 El hombre midió el atrio: su largo era de cincuenta metros y su ancho de otros cincuenta, es decir, un cuadrado. Y el altar estaba delante de la Casa.
48 Then he brought me into the vestibule of the temple and measured the pilasters on each side, which were five cubits. The width of the doorway was fourteen cubits, and the side walls on either side of the door measured three cubits.	48 El hombre me llevó hasta el vestíbulo de la Casa y midió sus pilares: tenían dos metros y medio, el de un lado y el del otro. Luego midió el ancho de la puerta: era de siete metros. También midió las paredes laterales de la puerta; estas tenían un metro y medio de un lado, y uno y medio del otro.
49 The vestibule was twenty cubits wide and twelve cubits deep; ten steps led up to it, and there were columns by the pilasters, one on either side.	49 El largo del vestíbulo era de seis metros. A él se subía por diez gradas, y tenía columnas junto a los pilares, una de cada lado.
