1 Thus the word of the LORD came to me:	1 Akkor az Úr ezt a szózatot intézte hozzám:
2 Son of man, say to the prince of Tyre: Thus says the Lord GOD: Because you are haughty of heart, you say, "A god am I! I occupy a godly throne in the heart of the sea!"-- And yet you are a man, and not a god, however you may think yourself like a god.	2 »Emberfia, mondjad Tírusz fejedelmének: Így szól az Úr Isten: Mivel szíved felfuvalkodott, és azt mondtad: ‘Isten vagyok én, isteni széken ülök a tenger szívében’ – holott ember vagy és nem isten – és szívedet olyanná tetted, mint egy isten szíve,
3 Oh yes, you are wiser than Daniel, there is no secret that is beyond you.	3 íme, bölcsebb vagy te Dánielnél, semmi titok sincsen rejtve előtted.
4 By your wisdom and your intelligence you have made riches for yourself; You have put gold and silver into your treasuries.	4 Bölcsességeddel és okosságoddal hatalmat szereztél magadnak, aranyat és ezüstöt halmoztál föl kincstáraidban.
5 By your great wisdom applied to your trading you have heaped up your riches; your heart has grown haughty from your riches--	5 Nagy bölcsességeddel és kereskedéseddel megnövelted hatalmadat, és szíved felfuvalkodott hatalmad miatt.
6 therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Because you have thought yourself to have the mind of a god,	6 Ezért így szól az Úr Isten: Mivel szíved felfuvalkodott mint valami isten szíve,
7 Therefore I will bring against you foreigners, the most barbarous of nations. They shall draw their swords against your beauteous wisdom, they shall run them through your splendid apparel.	7 azért íme, én idegeneket hozok rád, a nemzetek legerősebbjeit; kirántják kardjukat bölcsességed szépsége ellen, és megszentségtelenítik dicsőségedet.
8 They shall thrust you down to the pit, there to die a bloodied corpse, in the heart of the sea.	8 Megölnek és lerántanak téged, és mint akiket meggyilkolnak, úgy halsz meg a tenger szívében.
9 Will you then say, "I am a god!" when you face your murderers? No, you are a man, not a god, handed over to those who will slay you.	9 Vajon mondod-e majd gyilkosaid előtt is: ‘Isten vagyok én’ – holott ember vagy és nem isten, gyilkosaid kezében?
10 You shall die the death of the uncircumcised at the hands of foreigners, for I have spoken, says the Lord GOD.	10 Úgy fogsz meghalni, mint a körülmetéletlenek, idegenek keze által, mert én szóltam« – mondja az Úr Isten!
11 Thus the word of the LORD came to me:	11 Akkor az Úr ezt a szózatot intézte hozzám: »Emberfia, zengj gyászéneket Tírusz királya fölött,
12 Son of man, utter a lament over the king of Tyre, saying to him: Thus says the Lord GOD: You were stamped with the seal of perfection, of complete wisdom and perfect beauty.	12 és mondd neki: Így szól az Úr Isten: Te, a hasonlatosság pecsétje, bölcsességgel teljes és tökéletes szépségű!
13 In Eden, the garden of God, you were, and every precious stone was your covering (carnelian, topaz, and beryl, chrysolite, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, garnet, and emerald); Of gold your pendants and jewels were made, on the day you were created.	13 Isten paradicsomának gyönyörűségében voltál, csupa drágakő volt a ruházatod: karneol, topáz és jáspis, krizolit, ónix és berill, zafír, rubin és smaragd; aranyból készült díszes ékszered, és áttört ékességed már készen volt teremtésed napján.
14 With the Cherub I placed you; you were on the holy mountain of God, walking among the fiery stones.	14 Te kiterjesztett szárnyú és oltalmazó kerub! Isten szent hegyére helyeztelek, tüzes kövek között járkáltál.
15 Blameless you were in your conduct from the day you were created, Until evil was found in you,	15 Tökéletes voltál útjaidon teremtésed napja óta, míg gonoszságot nem találtam benned.
16 the result of your far-flung trade; violence was your business, and you sinned. Then I banned you from the mountain of God; the Cherub drove you from among the fiery stones.	16 Mivel gazdag kereskedést űztél, gonoszsággal telt el bensőd és vétkeztél; azért levetettelek az Isten hegyéről, és romlásba taszítottalak a tüzes kövek közül, te oltalmazó kerub!
17 You became haughty of heart because of your beauty; for the sake of splendor you debased your wisdom. I cast you to the earth, so great was your guilt; I made you a spectacle in the sight of kings.	17 Ékességed miatt felfuvalkodott a szíved, szépséged miatt elvesztetted bölcsességedet; a földre vetettelek, királyok színe elé tettelek, hogy szemléljenek téged.
18 Because of your guilt, your sinful trade, I have profaned your sanctuaries, And I have brought out fire from your midst which will devour you. I have reduced you to dust on the earth in the sight of all who should see you.	18 Sok gonosz tetteddel, kereskedésed becstelenségével meggyaláztad szentségedet; ezért tüzet támasztok benned, hogy megemésszen téged, és hamuvá teszlek a földön mindazok előtt, akik látnak téged.
19 Among the peoples, all who knew you stand aghast at you; You have become a horror, you shall be no more.	19 Mindazok, akik látnak téged a nemzetek között, megborzadnak miattad; semmivé lettél, és nem leszel soha többé!«
20 Thus the word of the LORD came to me:	20 Akkor az Úr ezt a szózatot intézte hozzám:
21 Son of man, look toward Sidon, and prophesy against it:	21 »Emberfia, fordítsd arcodat Szidon ellen, jövendölj ellene,
22 Thus says the Lord GOD: See! I am coming at you, Sidon; I will be glorified in your midst. Then they shall know that I am the LORD, when I inflict punishments upon it and use it to manifest my holiness.	22 és mondjad: Így szól az Úr Isten: Íme, ellened fordulok, Szidon, és megdicsőítem magamat benned; és megtudják, hogy én vagyok az Úr, amikor végrehajtom rajta az ítéletet, és nyilvánvalóvá lesz rajta szentségem.
23 Into it I will send pestilence, and blood shall flow in its streets. Within it shall fall those slain by the sword that comes against it from every side. Thus they shall know that I am the LORD.	23 Döghalált és vért bocsátok rá az ő utcáin; kard által hullanak el benne a megöltek körös-körül, és megtudják, hogy én vagyok az Úr!
24 Sidon shall no longer be a tearing thorn for the house of Israel, a brier that scratches them more than all the others about them who despise them; thus they shall know that I am the LORD.	24 Akkor Izrael házának nem lesz többé keserítő botránya és fájdalmat okozó tövise egyetlen ellenségétől sem; és megtudják, hogy én vagyok az Úr Isten.
25 Thus says the Lord GOD: When I gather the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, then I will manifest my holiness through them in the sight of the nations. Then they shall live on their land which I gave to my servant Jacob;	25 Így szól az Úr Isten: Amikor majd egybegyűjtöm Izrael házát a népek közül, amelyek közé szétszórtam őket, nyilvánvalóvá lesz rajtuk szentségem a nemzetek előtt. A saját országukban fognak lakni, amelyet szolgámnak, Jákobnak adtam.
26 they shall live on it in security, building houses and planting vineyards. They shall dwell secure while I inflict punishments on all their neighbors who despised them; thus they shall know that I, the LORD, am their God.	26 Biztonságban laknak ott, házakat építenek, szőlőt ültetnek és békében laknak, amikor végrehajtom az ítéletet valamennyi ellenségükön körös-körül; és megtudják majd, hogy én, az Úr vagyok az ő Istenük!«
