¹ Oracle on Egypt: See, the LORD is riding on a swift cloud on his way to Egypt; The idols of Egypt tremble before him, the hearts of the Egyptians melt within them.	¹ Oráculo contra Egipto. Allá va Yahveh cabalgando sobre nube ligera y entra en Egipto, se tambalean los ídolos de Egipto ante él y el corazón de Egipto se derrite en su interior.
² I will rouse Egypt against Egypt: brother will war against brother, Neighbor against neighbor, city against city, kingdom against kindgom.	² Revolveré a egipcios contra egipcios, peleará cada cual con su hermano, y cada uno con su compañero, ciudad contra ciudad, reino contra reino.
³ The courage of the Egyptians ebbs away within them, and I will bring to nought their counsel; They shall consult idols and charmers, ghosts and spirits.	³ Se trastornará el espíritu de Egipto en su interior, y sus planes anularé. Consultarán a los ídolos, a los brujos, a los nigromantes y los adivinos.
⁴ I will deliver Egypt into the power of a cruel master, A harsh king who shall rule over them, says the Lord, the LORD of hosts.	⁴ Entregaré a Egipto en manos de un señor duro, y un rey cruel los dominará - oráculo del Señor Yahveh Sebaot -.
⁵ The waters shall be drained from the sea, the river shall shrivel and dry up;	⁵ Se desecarán las aguas del mar, y el Río se secará y quedará seco; hederán los ríos,
⁶ Its streams shall become foul, and the canals of Egypt shall dwindle and dry up. Reeds and rushes shall wither away,	⁶ menguarán y se secarán los canales de Egipto. La caña y el junco se marchitarán.
⁷ and bulrushes on the bank of the Nile; All the sown land along the Nile shall dry up and blow away, and be no more.	⁷ Los prados junto al canal, junto al borde del canal, y todo sembrado del canal se secarán, serán aventados y desaparecerán.
⁸ The fishermen shall mourn and lament, all who cast hook in the Nile; Those who spread their nets in the water shall pine away.	⁸ Gemirán los pescadores, y se lamentarán todos los que echan en el canal anzuelo; y los que extienden red sobre las aguas, languidecerán.
⁹ The linen-workers shall be disappointed, the combers and weavers shall turn pale;	⁹ Estarán confusos los que trabajan el lino, cardadoras y tejedores palidecerán.
¹⁰ The spinners shall be crushed, all the hired laborers shall be despondent.	¹⁰ Estarán sus tejedores abatidos, todos los jornaleros desanimados.
¹¹ Utter fools are the princes of Zoan! the wisest of Pharaoh's advisers give stupid counsel. How can you say to Pharaoh, "I am a disciple of wise men, of ancient kings"?	¹¹ En verdad, están locos los príncipes de Soán, los sabios consejeros de Faraón forman un estúpido consejo. ¿Cómo decís a Faraón: «Hijo de sabios soy, hijo de reyes antiguos?»
¹² Where then are your wise men? Let them tell you and make known What the LORD of hosts has planned against Egypt.	¹² Pues entonces, ¿dónde están tus sabios? Que te manifiesten, pues, y te hagan conocer lo que ha planeado Yahveh Sebaot tocante a Egipto.
¹³ The princes of Zoan have become fools, the princes of Memphis have been deceived. The chiefs of her tribes have led Egypt astray.	¹³ Han enloquecido los príncipes de Soán, han sido engañados los príncipes de Nof; los jefes de sus tribus extravían a Egipto.
¹⁴ The LORD has prepared among them a spirit of dizziness, And they have made Egypt stagger in whatever she does, as a drunkard staggers in his vomit.	¹⁴ Yahveh ha infundido en ellos espíritu de vértigo que hace dar tumbos a Egipto en todas sus empresas, como se tambalea el ebrio en su vomitona.
¹⁵ Egypt shall have no work to do for head or tail, palm branch or reed.	¹⁵ Y no le sale bien a Egipto empresa alguna que haga la cabeza o la cola, la palmera o el junco.
¹⁶ On that day the Egyptians shall be like women, trembling with fear, because of the LORD of hosts shaking his fist at them.	¹⁶ Aquel día será Egipto como las mujeres. Temblará y se espantará cada vez que Yahveh Sebaot menee su mano contra él.
¹⁷ And the land of Judah shall be a terror to the Egyptians. Every time they remember Judah, they shall stand in dread because of the plan which the LORD of hosts has in mind for them.	¹⁷ El territorio de Judá será la afrenta de Egipto: cada vez que se lo mienten, se espantará ante los planes que Yahveh Sebaot está trazando contra él.
¹⁸ On that day there shall be five cities in the land of Egypt speaking the language of Canaan and swearing by the LORD of hosts; one shall be called "City of the Sun."	¹⁸ Aquel día habrá cinco ciudades en tierra de Egipto que hablarán la lengua de Canaán y que jurarán por Yahveh Sebaot: Ir Haheres se llamará una de ellas.
¹⁹ On that day there shall be an altar to the LORD in the land of Egypt, and a sacred pillar to the LORD near the boundary.	¹⁹ Aquel día habrá un altar de Yahveh en medio del país de Egipto y una estela de Yahveh junto a su frontera.
²⁰ It shall be a sign and a witness to the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt, when they cry out to the LORD against their oppressors, and he sends them a savior to defend and deliver them.	²⁰ Estará como señal y testimonio de Yahveh Sebaot en el país de Egipto. Cuando clamen a Yahveh a causa de los opresores, les enviará un libertador que los defenderá y librará.
²¹ The LORD shall make himself known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day; they shall offer sacrifices and oblations, and fulfill the vows they make to the LORD.	²¹ Será conocido Yahveh de Egipto, y conocerá Egipto a Yahveh aquel día, le servirán con sacrificio y ofrenda, harán votos a Yahveh y los cumplirán.
²² Although the LORD shall smite Egypt severely, he shall heal them; they shall turn to the LORD and he shall be won over and heal them.	²² Yahveh herirá a Egipto, pero al punto le curará. Se convertirán a Yahveh, y él será propicio y los curará.
²³ On that day there shall be a highway from Egypt to Assyria; the Assyrians shall enter Egypt, and the Egyptians enter Assyria, and Egypt shall serve Assyria.	²³ Aquel día habrá una calzada desde Egipto a Asiria. Vendrá Asur a Egipto y Egipto a Asiria, y Egipto servirá a Asur.
²⁴ On that day Israel shall be a third party with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing in the midst of the land,	²⁴ Aquel día será Israel tercero con Egipto y Asur, objeto de bendición en medio de la tierra,
²⁵ when the LORD of hosts blesses it: "Blessed be my people Egypt, and the work of my hands Assyria, and my inheritance, Israel."	²⁵ pues le bendecirá Yahveh Sebaot diciendo: «Bendito sea mi pueblo Egipto, la obra de mis manos Asur, y mi heredad Israel».
