2 Hear my cry, O God, listen to my prayer!	2 Entends mon cri, ô mon Dieu, sois attentif à ma prière.
3 From the brink of Sheol I call; my heart grows faint. Raise me up, set me on a rock,	3 Des frontières de notre terre, je crie vers toi, découragé. Conduis-moi à la roche trop haute pour moi.
4 for you are my refuge, a tower of strength against the foe.	4 Oui, tu es mon refuge, ma tour forte face à l’ennemi.
5 Then I will ever dwell in your tent, take refuge in the shelter of your wings. Selah	5 Je veux partager ta tente à jamais, m’abriter au creux de tes ailes.
6 O God, when you accept my vows and hear the plea of those who revere your name in prayer:	6 Déjà, tu as exaucé mes vœux, et les désirs de ceux qui craignent ton Nom.
7 "Add to the days of the king's life; may his years be many generations;	7 Prolonge les jours du roi, multiplie-les, qu’il voie s’écouler des générations!
8 May he reign before God forever; may your love and fidelity preserve him"--	8 Qu’il règne et serve Dieu à jamais, donne-lui pour couronne ta grâce, ta fidélité!
9 Then I will sing your name forever, fulfill my vows day after day.	9 Alors sans fin je louerai ton Nom, et j’accomplirai jour après jour mes promesses.
