NEW AMERICAN BIBLENOVA VULGATA
1 A psalm of David. The earth is the LORD'S and all it holds, the world and those who live there.1 David. Psalmus.
Domini est terra, et plenitudo eius,
orbis terrarum, et qui habitant in eo.
2 For God founded it on the seas, established it over the rivers.2 Quia ipse super maria fundavit eum
et super flumina firmavit eum. -
3 Who may go up the mountain of the LORD? Who can stand in his holy place?3 Quis ascendet in montem Domini,
aut quis stabit in loco sancto eius?
4 "The clean of hand and pure of heart, who are not devoted to idols, who have not sworn falsely.4 Innocens manibus et mundo corde,
qui non levavit ad vana animam suam
nec iuravit in dolum.
5 They will receive blessings from the LORD, and justice from their saving God.5 Hic accipiet benedictionem a Domino
et iustificationem a Deo salutari suo.
6 Such are the people that love the LORD, that seek the face of the God of Jacob." Selah6 Haec est generatio quaerentium eum,
quaerentium faciem Dei Iacob.
7 Lift up your heads, O gates; rise up, you ancient portals, that the king of glory may enter.7 Attollite, portae, capita vestra,
et elevamini, portae aeternales,
et introibit rex gloriae.
8 Who is this king of glory? The LORD, a mighty warrior, the LORD, mighty in battle.8 Quis est iste rex gloriae?
Dominus fortis et potens,
Dominus potens in proelio.
9 Lift up your heads, O gates; rise up, you ancient portals, that the king of glory may enter.9 Attollite, portae, capita vestra,
et elevamini, portae aeternales,
et introibit rex gloriae.
10 Who is this king of glory? The LORD of hosts is the king of glory. Selah10 Quis est iste rex gloriae?
Dominus virtutum ipse est rex gloriae.
