2 The LORD answer you in time of distress; the name of the God of Jacob defend you!	2 Ti esaudisca il Signore, nel giorno di angustia ti porti in alto il nome del Dio di Giacobbe.
3 May God send you help from the temple, from Zion be your support.	3 Mandi il tuo aiuto dal suo santuario, da Sion il tuo sostegno.
4 May God remember your every offering, graciously accept your holocaust, Selah	4 Ricordi ogni tua offerta, accetti ogni tuo olocausto.
5 Grant what is in your heart, fulfill your every plan.	5 Ti accordi quanto desidera il tuo cuore, porti a compimento ogni tuo consiglio,
6 May we shout for joy at your victory, raise the banners in the name of our God. The LORD grant your every prayer!	6 affinché della tua vittoria possiamo rallegrarci e nel nome del nostro Dio agitare in festa i nostri vessilli. Compia il Signore tutte le tue richieste.
7 Now I know victory is given to the anointed of the LORD. God will answer him from the holy heavens with a strong arm that brings victory.	7 Ora so bene che il Signore ha dato vittoria al suo consacrato, lo esaudisce dai santi suoi cieli, con grandi gesta di salvezza della sua destra.
8 Some rely on chariots, others on horses, but we on the name of the LORD our God.	8 Questi ai carri e quelli ai cavalli, ma noi al nome del Signore nostro Dio facciamo ricorso.
