1 This is the list of the Israelite family heads, commanders of thousands and of hundreds, and other officers who served the king in all that pertained to the divisions, of twenty-four thousand men each, that came and went month by month throughout the year.	1 Israelitas, segundo o seu número, chefes de famílias, chefes de milhares e de centenas, oficiais ao serviço do rei, para tudo que se referia às divisões chegando e partindo mensalmente, tendo cada divisão vinte e quatro mil homens:
2 Over the first division for the first month was Ishbaal, son of Zabdiel, and in his division were twenty-four thousand men;	2 À frente da primeira divisão, para o primeiro mês, achava-se Jesboão, filho de Zabdiel, e sua divisão era de vinte e quatro mil homens.
3 a descendant of Perez, he was chief over all the commanders of the army for the first month.	3 Ele era da linhagem de Farés e comandava todos os chefes de tropas do primeiro mês.
4 Over the division of the second month was Eleazar, son of Dodo, from Ahoh, and in his division were twenty-four thousand men.	4 À frente da divisão do segundo mês, achava-se Dudia, o aoíta; Macelot era um dos chefes de sua divisão; sua divisão contava vinte e quatro mil homens.
5 The third army commander, chief for the third month, was Benaiah, son of Jehoiada the priest, and in his division were twenty-four thousand men.	5 O chefe da terceira divisão para o terceiro mês, era Banaías, filho do sacerdote-chefe Jojada, chefe; havia na sua divisão vinte e quatro mil homens.
6 This Benaiah was a warrior among the Thirty and over the Thirty. His son Ammizabad was over his division.	6 Este Banaías era um herói dos Trinta, e um chefe dos Trinta; Amizabad, seu filho, era um chefe de sua divisão.
7 Fourth, for the fourth month, was Asahel, brother of Joab, and after him his son Zebadiah, and in his division were twenty-four thousand men.	7 Para o quarto mês, havia Asael, irmão de Joab, a quem sucedeu seu filho Zabadias. A divisão contava vinte e quatro mil homens.

9 Sixth, for the sixth month, was Ira, son of Ikkesh, from Tekoa, and in his division were twenty-four thousand men.	9 O sexto, para o sexto mês, era Hira, filho de Acés, de Técua; havia na sua divisão vinte e quatro mil homens.

11 Eighth, for the eighth month, was Sibbecai the Hushathite, a descendant of Zerah, and in his division were twenty-four thousand men.	11 O oitavo, para o oitavo mês, era Sobocai, o husatita, da família dos zaraítas; e sua divisão compreendia vinte e quatro mil homens.
12 Ninth, for the ninth month, was Abiezer from Anathoth, of Benjamin, and in his division were twenty-four thousand men.	12 O nono, para o nono mês, era Abiezer, de Anatot dos filhos de Benjamim; e sua divisão contava vinte e quatro mil homens.

15 Twelfth, for the twelfth month, was Heldai the Netophathite, of the family of Othniel, and in his division were twenty-four thousand men.	15 O duodécimo para o duodécimo mês, era Holdai, de Netofa, da família de Otoniel; e sua divisão contava vinte e quatro mil homens.
16 Over the tribes of Israel, for the Reubenites the leader was Eliezer, son of Zichri; for the Simeonites, Shephatiah, son of Maacah;	16 Eis os chefes das tribos de Israel: chefes dos rubenitas: Eliezer, filho de Zecri; dos simeonitas: Safatias, filho de Maaca;

22 for Dan, Azarel, son of Jeroham. These were the commanders of the tribes of Israel.	22 de Dã: Ezriel, filho de Jeroão. Eram estes os chefes das tribos de Israel.
23 David did not count those who were twenty years of age or younger, for the LORD had promised to multiply Israel like the stars of the heavens.	23 Não fez Davi a relação daqueles que tinham vinte anos para baixo, porque o Senhor tinha prometido multiplicar Israel como as estrelas do céu.
24 Joab, son of Zeruiah, began to take the census, but he did not complete it, for because of it wrath fell upon Israel. Therefore the number did not enter into the book of chronicles of King David.	24 Joab, filho de Sarvia, tinha começado este recenseamento, mas não terminou, porque a ira de Deus viera sobre Israel, por causa do recenseamento; e o número deles não foi relacionado nas crônicas do rei Davi.
25 Over the treasures of the king was Azmaveth, the son of Adiel. Over the stores in the country, the cities, the villages, and the towers was Jonathan, son of Uzziah.	25 Asmot, filho de Adiel, estava encarregado dos tesouros do rei; Jonatã, filho de Ozias, dos tesouros que havia nos campos, nas cidades, nas aldeias e nas torres;
26 Over the farm workers who tilled the soil was Ezri, son of Chelub.	26 Ezri, filho de Quelub, era superintendente dos camponeses que cultivavam a terra;
27 Over the vineyards was Shimei from Ramah, and over their produce for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite.	27 Semei de Rama, das vinhas; Zabadias, de Safão, das provisões de vinho nas vinhas;

30 over the camels was Obil the Ishmaelite; over the she-asses was Jehdeiah the Meronothite;	30 Ubil, o ismaelita, dos camelos; Jadias, de Meronat, das jumentas;
31 and over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagrite. All these were the overseers of King David's possessions.	31 Jaziz, o agareu, das ovelhas; eram estes os intendentes dos bens do rei Davi.
32 Jonathan, David's uncle and a man of intelligence, was counselor and scribe; he and Jehiel, the son of Hachmoni, were tutors of the king's sons.	32 Jonatã, tio de Davi, exercia a função de conselheiro; era ele um homem prudente e sábio. Jaiel, filho de Hacamoni, estava com os filhos do rei.
33 Ahithophel was also the king's counselor, and Hushai the Archite was the king's confidant.	33 Aquitofel era conselheiro do rei, e Cusai, o araquita, amigo do rei;
34 After Ahithophel came Jehoiada, the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar. The commander of the king's army was Joab.	34 depois de Aquitofel, vinham Jojada, filho de Banaías e Abiatar. Joab era general do exército real.
