1 This is the list of the Israelite family heads, commanders of thousands and of hundreds, and other officers who served the king in all that pertained to the divisions, of twenty-four thousand men each, that came and went month by month throughout the year.	1 El número de los israelitas –incluyendo los jefes de familia, los jefes de mil y cien hombres y los oficiales que servían al rey en lo referente a las divisiones que entraban y salían de servicio cada mes, a lo largo de todo el año– era de 24.000 hombres por cada división.
2 Over the first division for the first month was Ishbaal, son of Zabdiel, and in his division were twenty-four thousand men;	2 Al frente de la primera división, la del primer mes, estaba Iasobam, hijo de Zabdiel: su división tenía 24.000 hombres.
3 a descendant of Perez, he was chief over all the commanders of the army for the first month.	3 El pertenecía a la familia de Peres y era el jefe de todos los oficiales del primer mes.
4 Over the division of the second month was Eleazar, son of Dodo, from Ahoh, and in his division were twenty-four thousand men.	4 Al frente de la división del segundo mes estaba Dodai, el ajojita: su división tenía 24.000 hombres.

21 for the half-tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo, son of Zechariah; for Benjamin, Jaasiel, son of Abner;	21 De la mitad de la tribu de Manasés, en Galaad: Idó, hijo de Zacarías. De Benjamín: Iaasiel, hijo de Abner.
22 for Dan, Azarel, son of Jeroham. These were the commanders of the tribes of Israel.	22 De Dan: Azarel, hijo de Ierojam. Estos eran los jefes de las tribus de Israel.
23 David did not count those who were twenty years of age or younger, for the LORD had promised to multiply Israel like the stars of the heavens.	23 David no hizo el censo de los que tenían menos de veinte años, porque el Señor le había prometido que multiplicaría a Israel como las estrellas del cielo.
24 Joab, son of Zeruiah, began to take the census, but he did not complete it, for because of it wrath fell upon Israel. Therefore the number did not enter into the book of chronicles of King David.	24 Joab, hijo de Seruiá, había comenzado a hacer el censo, pero no lo terminó, porque a causa de él, la ira del Señor se descargó sobre Israel. 25 Over the treasures of the king was Azmaveth, the son of Adiel. Over the stores in the country, the cities, the villages, and the towers was Jonathan, son of Uzziah.	25 Azmávet, hijo de Adiel, era el encargado de los tesoros del rey. Jonatán, hijo de Uzías, el encargado de los depósitos de los campos, de las ciudades, de los poblados y de las fortalezas.
26 Over the farm workers who tilled the soil was Ezri, son of Chelub.	26 Ezrí, hijo de Quelub, el encargado de los agricultores que trabajaban las tierras.

32 Jonathan, David's uncle and a man of intelligence, was counselor and scribe; he and Jehiel, the son of Hachmoni, were tutors of the king's sons.	32 Jonatán, tío de David, hombre prudente e instruido, era consejero. Iejiel, hijo de Iacmoní, era preceptor de los hijos del rey.
33 Ahithophel was also the king's counselor, and Hushai the Archite was the king's confidant.	33 Ajitófel era consejero del rey. Jusai, el arquita, era amigo del rey.
