1 His own palace Solomon completed after thirteen years of construction.	1 Свій палац будував Соломон 13 років і таким чином скінчив увесь дім свій.
2 He built the hall called the Forest of Lebanon one hundred cubits long, fifty wide, and thirty high; it was supported by four rows of cedar columns, with cedar capitals upon the columns.	2 Він збудував свій палац із ливанського лісу, 100 ліктів завдовжки, 50 ліктів завширшки і 30 ліктів заввишки, на 3 рядах кедрових стовпів, а на стовпах були кедрові балки.
3 Moreover, it had a ceiling of cedar above the beams resting on the columns; these beams numbered forty-five, fifteen to a row.	3 Зверху вкрито його кедровиною над боковими світлицями, що над стовпами, а стовпів було 45, по 15 у кожному ряді.

6 The porch of the columned hall he made fifty cubits long and thirty wide. 7 He also built the vestibule of the throne where he gave judgment--that is, the tribunal; it was paneled with cedar from floor to ceiling beams.	7 Спорудив також ґанок для престолу, де робив суд, «судову світлицю», і вкрив її кедриною від підлоги аж під стелю.
8 His living quarters were in another court, set in deeper than the tribunal and of the same construction. A palace like this tribunal was built for Pharaoh's daughter, whom Solomon had married.	8 Тим же робом споруджено будинок, де він жив, у другому дворі поза кружґанком. І дочці фараоновій, що взяв за себе Соломон, спорудив він будинок на зразок того кружґанку.
9 All these buildings were of fine stones, hewn to size and trimmed front and back with a saw, from the foundation to the bonding course.	9 Все було з добірного каміння, обтесаного до розміру та обтятого пилою зсередини та ззовні, від підвалин аж до покриття, а ззовні аж до великого двору.
10 (The foundation was made of fine, large blocks, some ten cubits and some eight cubits.	10 Підвалини теж були з добірного, величезного каміння, з каміння у 10 ліктів і у 8 ліктів.
11 Above were fine stones hewn to size, and cedar wood.)	11 А зверху знову добірне каміння, тесане до міри, та кедрина.
12 The great court was enclosed by three courses of hewn stones and a bonding course of cedar beams. So also were the inner court of the temple of the LORD and the temple porch.	12 А великий двір обгороджено трьома рядами тесаного каміння й одним рядом кедрових дощок; теж і внутрішний двір Господнього храму і кружґанок палацу.
13 King Solomon had Hiram brought from Tyre.	13 Цар Соломон послав по Хірама до Тиру.
14 He was a bronze worker, the son of a widow from the tribe of Naphtali; his father had been from Tyre. He was endowed with skill, understanding, and knowledge of how to produce any work in bronze. He came to King Solomon and did all his metal work.	14 Це був син удови з коліна Нафталі; батько ж його був у Тирі мідником; він був повний мудрости, розуму та знання у всякій мідній роботі. Прибув він до царя Соломона і робив усі роботи у нього.
15 Two hollow bronze columns were cast, each eighteen cubits high and twelve cubits in circumference; their metal was of four fingers' thickness.	15 Він вилляв два мідні стовпи; один стовп був 18 ліктів заввишки, а навкруги нього йшла поворозка у 12 ліктів, завгрубшки на 4 пальці, а всередині був він порожній; так само й другий стовп.
16 There were also two capitals cast in bronze, to place on top of the columns, each of them five cubits high.	16 Зробив два капітелі з литої міді, щоб покласти зверху на стовпах; 5 ліктів заввишки один капітель і 5 ліктів заввишки другий.
17 Two pieces of network with a chainlike mesh were made to cover the (nodes of the) capitals on top of the columns, one for each capital.	17 Зробив і дві сітки плетеної роботи, щоб покрити капітелі, що були зверху стовпів: одну на один капітель і одну на другий.
18 Four hundred pomegranates were also cast; two hundred of them in a double row encircled the piece of network on each of the two capitals.	18 І зробив навколо два ряди гранатових яблук над сіткою, щоб покрити капітель, що над стовпами; те саме зробив і для другого капітелю.
19 The capitals on top of the columns were finished wholly in a lotus pattern	19 А на капітелях, що на стовпах, був виріб на зразок лілеї; усе це разом 4 лікті заввишки.

21 The columns were then erected adjacent to the porch of the temple, one to the right, called Jachin, and the other to the left, called Boaz.	21 І поставив стовпи перед притвором святині; поставив стовпа праворуч і назвав його Яхін, і поставив стовпа ліворуч і назвав його Боаз.
22 Thus the work on the columns was completed.	22 Поверх стовпів був виріб, немов лілеї. Так викінчено роботу стовпів.
23 The sea was then cast; it was made with a circular rim, and measured ten cubits across, five in height, and thirty in circumference.	23 Зробив і море, вилляте з міді, 10 ліктів від одного краю до другого, цілком кругле, 5 ліктів заввишки; шнур у 30 ліктів обіймав його навкруги.
24 Under the brim, gourds encircled it, ten to the cubit all the way around; the gourds were in two rows and were cast in one mold with the sea.	24 Попід краями його навколо йшли огірочки, по 10 на лікоть; вони оббігали море навкруги у два ряди; огірочки були вилляті тоді, коли й воно виливалось.

27 Ten stands were also made of bronze, each four cubits long, four wide, and three high.	27 Зробив він і 10 мідних підніжків. Кожен підніжок був 4 лікті завдовжки, 4 лікті завширшки і 3 лікті заввишки.
28 When these stands were constructed, panels were set within the framework.	28 Підніжки ж зроблено так: на них були стінки, а між стінками виступи,
29 On the panels between the frames there were lions, oxen, and cherubim; and on the frames likewise, above and below the lions and oxen, there were wreaths in relief.	29 на стінках між виступами були вироблені леви, воли й херувими; а на виступає, як над левами та волами, так і під ними звисали вінки.
30 Each stand had four bronze wheels and bronze axles.	30 У кожному підніжку було 4 мідні колеса і мідні осі. На чотирьох його рогах були підпори, під умивальницею були підпори, вилиті поза вікнами.
31 This was surmounted by a crown one cubit high within which was a rounded opening to provide a receptacle a cubit and a half in depth. There was carved work at the opening, on panels that were angular, not curved.	31 Отвір від внутрішнього вінка до верху на 1 лікоть, отвір круглий, як і підніжки, і на отворі теж була різьба, але виступи були чотирикутні, не круглі.
32 The four wheels were below the paneling, and the axletrees of the wheels and the stand were of one piece. Each wheel was a cubit and a half high.	32 Під виступами було четверо коліс, осі ж колеса були в підніжку, а кожне колесо було заввишки півтора ліктя.
33 The wheels were constructed like chariot wheels; their axles, fellies, spokes, and hubs were all cast. The four legs of each stand had cast braces, which were under the basin; they had wreaths on each side.	33 Колеса були зроблені, як колеса до колісниць: осі їхні, обіддя, спиці й дзвони — усе було вилите.
34 These four braces, extending to the corners of each stand, were of one piece with the stand.	34 Чотири підпори були під чотирма кутами кожного підніжка. Підпори й підніжок були вилиті суцільно.
35 On top of the stand there was a raised collar half a cubit high, with supports and panels which were of one piece with the top of the stand.	35 Зверху підніжка був кружок, увесь круглий, півліктя заввишки, а під підніжком були осі й виступи, вилиті суцільно.
36 On the surfaces of the supports and on the panels, wherever there was a clear space, cherubim, lions, and palm trees were carved, as well as wreaths all around.	36 І вирізьбив на дощинках осей і виступів херувимів, левів та пальми, скільки було місця, з квітами, що навколо звисали.
37 This was how the ten stands were made, all of the same casting, the same size, the same shape.	37 Так зробив він 10 підніжків; всі вони були суцільного виливу, однієї міри та одного вигляду.
38 Ten bronze basins were then made, each four cubits in diameter with a capacity of forty measures, one basin for the top of each of the ten stands.	38 Потім вилив 10 мідних умивальниць. Кожна умивальниця містила сорок батів, кожна умивальниця була в 4 лікті, і кожна стояла на одному з десятьох підніжків.

40 When Hiram made the pots, shovels, and bowls, he therewith completed all his work for King Solomon in the temple of the LORD:	40 Зробив Хірам також кітли, лопатки й кропильниці. Так скінчив Хірам усю роботу, що виконав у царя Соломона для Господнього храму, а саме:
41 two columns, two nodes for the capitals on top of the columns, two pieces of network covering the nodes for the capitals on top of the columns,	41 стовпів 2 й 2 круглі капітелі зверху на стовпах, і 2 сітки, які покривали обидва круглі капітелі, Що зверху на стовпах;
42 four hundred pomegranates in double rows on both pieces of network that covered the two nodes of the capitals where they met the columns,	42 чотириста гранатових яблук для двох сіток; 2 ряди гранатових яблук для кожної сітки, щоб покрити закруглені капітелі на стовпах;
43 ten stands, ten basins on the stands,	43 десять підніжків і 10 умивальниць на підніжках,
44 one sea, twelve oxen supporting the sea,	44 одне море і 12 волів під ним,
45 pots, shovels, and bowls. All these articles which Hiram made for King Solomon in the temple of the LORD were of burnished bronze.	45 і кітли, лопатки й кропильниці. Ввесь посуд, що Хірам зробив цареві Соломонові для Господнього храму, був з блискучої міді.
46 The king had them cast in the neighborhood of the Jordan, in the clayey ground between Succoth and Zarethan.	46 Цар звелів його вилити в йорданській долині, у формах з глинкуватої землі, між Суккотом та Цартаном.
47 Solomon did not weigh all the articles because they were so numerous; the weight of the bronze, therefore, was not determined.	47 Соломон установив увесь цей посуд. З-за дуже великої кількости ваги міді не зважено.
48 Solomon had all the articles made for the interior of the temple of the LORD: the golden altar; the golden table on which the showbread lay;	48 Соломон установив увесь посуд, що в храмі Господньому: золотий жертовник, золотий стіл, на якому лежали приявні хліби;
49 the lampstands of pure gold, five to the right and five to the left before the sanctuary, with their flowers, lamps, and tongs of gold;	49 світильники з щирого золота — 5 праворуч і 5 ліворуч перед всесвятим; світичі, квіти й щипці з золота;
50 basins, snuffers, bowls, cups, and fire pans of pure gold; and hinges of gold for the doors of the inner room, or holy of holies, and for the doors of the outer room, the nave.	50 чаші, ножі, кропильниці, мисочки й кадильниці з чистого золота; завіси до дверних крил внутрішнього дому, тобто до всесвятого, і для дверних крил святого були з золота.
51 When all the work undertaken by King Solomon in the temple of the LORD was completed, he brought in the dedicated offerings of his father David, putting the silver, gold, and other articles in the treasuries of the temple of the LORD.	51 Скоро скінчено всі роботи, що цар Соломон звелів їх зробити для Господнього храму, він вніс святі дари Давида, свого батька: срібло, золото, й посуд, і склав їх у скарбницю Господнього храму.
