7 He also built the vestibule of the throne where he gave judgment--that is, the tribunal; it was paneled with cedar from floor to ceiling beams.	7 Fece pure il portico del trono, nel quale v'è il tribunale, e lo vestì di legno di cedro dal pavimento fino alla sommità.
8 His living quarters were in another court, set in deeper than the tribunal and of the same construction. A palace like this tribunal was built for Pharaoh's daughter, whom Solomon had married.	8 Nel mezzo del portico v'era una piccola casa di simile lavoro, ove si sedeva per giudicare. Salomone fece una casa simile a questo portico anche per la figlia di Faraone ch'egli aveva sposata.
9 All these buildings were of fine stones, hewn to size and trimmed front and back with a saw, from the foundation to the bonding course.	9 Tutto ciò, dalle fondamenta sino alla sommità dei muri, e al di fuori dell'atrio maggiore, era di pietre scelte che, tanto dalla parte interna come dalla esterna, erano state segate secondo certe norme e misure.

14 He was a bronze worker, the son of a widow from the tribe of Naphtali; his father had been from Tyre. He was endowed with skill, understanding, and knowledge of how to produce any work in bronze. 18 Four hundred pomegranates were also cast; two hundred of them in a double row encircled the piece of network on each of the two capitals.	18 Compì le colonne con due ordini di melagrane attorno al reticolato, da coprirne il capitello che sormontava una colonna. Lo stesso fece al capitello dell'altra.
19 The capitals on top of the columns were finished wholly in a lotus pattern	19 I capitelli che sormontavano le colonne del portico eran fatti a gigli, ed eran di quattro cubiti.
20 above the level of the nodes and their enveloping network.	20 V'erano inoltre in cima alle colonne, sopra i reticolati, altri capitelli proporzionati alla colonna, e intorno a questo secondo capitello, disposte in ordine, duecento melagrane.
21 The columns were then erected adjacent to the porch of the temple, one to the right, called Jachin, and the other to the left, called Boaz.	21 Pose le due colonne nel portico del tempio; eretta la colonna destra, le diede il nome di Iachin; eretta poi la seconda, le pose il nome di Booz.
22 Thus the work on the columns was completed.	22 Sulle cime delle colonne pose quel lavoro fatto a giglio. E così fu compito il lavoro delle colonne.
23 The sea was then cast; it was made with a circular rim, and measured ten cubits across, five in height, and thirty in circumference.	23 Fece pure il mare di bronzo fuso, che aveva dieci cubiti da un orlo all'altro, era interamente rotondo, alto cinque cubiti, e una corda di trenta cubiti l'avrebbe cinto tutto all'intorno.

29 On the panels between the frames there were lions, oxen, and cherubim; and on the frames likewise, above and below the lions and oxen, there were wreaths in relief.	29 Fra le piccole corone e gli orli vi erano leoni, buoi e cherubini, e così sopra le giunture, sotto ai leoni e ai buoi, v'eran pendenti dei festoni di bronzo.
30 Each stand had four bronze wheels and bronze axles.	30 Ogni base aveva quattro rote di bronzo e sale di bronzo, e ai quattro angoli sotto al bacino, vi erano come delle spallette fatte di getto e rivolte l'una verso l'altra,
31 This was surmounted by a crown one cubit high within which was a rounded opening to provide a receptacle a cubit and a half in depth. There was carved work at the opening, on panels that were angular, not curved.	31 In cima alla base vi era poi, internamente, una cavità per ricevere il bacino; quello che appariva fuori era di un cubito, e tutto rotondo, tutto era un cubito e mezzo. Agli angoli delle colonne v'eran varie cesellature e gl'intercolunnii eran quadrati e non rotondi.
32 The four wheels were below the paneling, and the axletrees of the wheels and the stand were of one piece. Each wheel was a cubit and a half high.	32 Le quattro rote che erano ai quattro angoli della base, si univano l'una all'altra sotto la base ed ogni rota aveva un cubito e mezzo d'altezza.
33 The wheels were constructed like chariot wheels; their axles, fellies, spokes, and hubs were all cast. The four legs of each stand had cast braces, which were under the basin; they had wreaths on each side.	33 Le rote eran come quelle che soglion farsi per i carri, e le loro sale, i loro raggi, i loro cerchi e i loro mozzi eran tutti di getto.
34 These four braces, extending to the corners of each stand, were of one piece with the stand.	34 Anche quelle quattro spallette che erano ai quattro angoli di ciascuna base eran congiunte e fuse colla base.
35 On top of the stand there was a raised collar half a cubit high, with supports and panels which were of one piece with the top of the stand.	35 sin cima alla base v'era un cerchio, alto mezzo cubito, e fatto in modo da potervi mettere sopra il bacino e con cesellature e sculture varie a rilievo.
36 On the surfaces of the supports and on the panels, wherever there was a clear space, cherubim, lions, and palm trees were carved, as well as wreaths all around.	36 e sulle superfìci, che eran di bronzo, e sugli angoli scolpì cherubini, leoni e palme, simili ad uomini ritti, e parevano non cesellati, ma aggiunti all'intorno.
37 This was how the ten stands were made, all of the same casting, the same size, the same shape.	37 Così egli fece le dieci basi di un medesimo getto, di una medesima misura e di consimile scultura.
38 Ten bronze basins were then made, each four cubits in diameter with a capacity of forty measures, one basin for the top of each of the ten stands.	38 Fece anche dieci bacini di rame. Cigni bacino conteneva quaranta bati, ed era di quattro cubiti. Posò ciascun bacino sopra una delle dieci basi,
39 The stands were placed, five on the south side of the temple and five on the north. 40 When Hiram made the pots, shovels, and bowls, he therewith completed all his work for King Solomon in the temple of the LORD:	40 Hiram fece pure delle conche, delle caldaie e dei bacini, ed eseguì tutti i lavori del re Salomone nel tempio del Signore:
41 two columns, two nodes for the capitals on top of the columns, two pieces of network covering the nodes for the capitals on top of the columns,	41 le due colonne, i due cordoni dei capitelli sopra i capitelli delle colonne, i due reticolati per coprire i due cordoni che eran sopra le colonne;
42 four hundred pomegranates in double rows on both pieces of network that covered the two nodes of the capitals where they met the columns,	42 le quattrocento melegrane nelle due reti, due ordini di melegrane in ciascun reticolato, per coprire i cordoni dei capitelli che eran sulle cime delle colonne;
43 ten stands, ten basins on the stands,	43 le dieci basi; i dieci bacini sopra le basi;

45 pots, shovels, and bowls. All these articles which Hiram made for King Solomon in the temple of the LORD were of burnished bronze.	45 le conche, le caldaie, i bacini. Tutti i vasi che Hiram fece al re Salomone per la casa del Signore eran di bronzo finissimo,
46 The king had them cast in the neighborhood of the Jordan, in the clayey ground between Succoth and Zarethan.	46 e il re li fece fonder nella pianura del Giordano, nel terreno argilloso tra Socot e Sartan.
47 Solomon did not weigh all the articles because they were so numerous; the weight of the bronze, therefore, was not determined.	47 Salomone ripose tutti questi vasi; ma, essendo in tanta quantità, non se ne pesò il bronzo.
48 Solomon had all the articles made for the interior of the temple of the LORD: the golden altar; the golden table on which the showbread lay;	48 Salomone fece pure tutti gli arredi per la casa del Signore: l'altare d'oro, la tavola d'oro, sulla quale dovevano esser posti i pani di proposizione;
49 the lampstands of pure gold, five to the right and five to the left before the sanctuary, with their flowers, lamps, and tongs of gold;	49 i candelabri d'oro, cinque a destra e cinque a sinistra davanti all'oracolo d'oro fino, come pure i fiori di giglio e le lucerne d'oro al di sopra; gli smoccolatoi d'oro,
50 basins, snuffers, bowls, cups, and fire pans of pure gold; and hinges of gold for the doors of the inner room, or holy of holies, and for the doors of the outer room, the nave.	50 le idrie, le forchette, le coppe, i mortai, e i turiboli d'oro finissimo. Eran pure d'oro i cardini delle porte della casa inteteriore del Santo dei Santi e delle porte della casa del tempio.
51 When all the work undertaken by King Solomon in the temple of the LORD was completed, he brought in the dedicated offerings of his father David, putting the silver, gold, and other articles in the treasuries of the temple of the LORD.	51 Salomone compì tutti i lavori che intendeva di fare per la casa del Signore, e vi mise tutto quello che David suo padre aveva consacrato, e l'argento, l'oro e i vasi li ripose nei tesori della casa del Signore.
