1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:	1 E vidi un altro Angelo forte, scendente dal cielo, coperto d'una nuvola; ed aveva sul suo capo l'iride, e la faccia di esso era come il sole, e i suoi piedi come colonne di fuoco:
2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,	2 Ed aveva in mano un libriccino aperto: e posò il piede destro sul mare, e il sinistro sulla terra:
3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.	3 E gridò ad alta voce, qual rugge un leone. E gridato ch'egli ebbe, dettar fuora i sette tuoni le loro voci.
4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.	4 E dato che ebber fuora i sette tuoni le loro voci, io stava per iscrivere: ma udii una voce dal cielo, la quale mi disse: Sigilla quello, che hanno detto i sette tuoni, e non lo scrivere.
5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,	5 E l'Angelo, che io vidi posare sul mare, e sulla terra, alzò al cielo la mano:
6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:	6 E giurò per colui, che vive ne' secoli de' secoli (che creò il cielo, e quanto in esso condensi: e la terra, e quanto in essa contiensi: e il mare, e quanto in esso contiensi), che non saravvi più tempo:
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.	7 Ma ne' giorni del parlare del settimo Angelo, quando coraincierà a dar lato alla tromba, sarà compito il mistero di Dio, conforme evangelizzò pe' profeti suoi servi.
8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.	8 E udii la voce dal cielo, che di nuovo mi parlava, e diceva: va', e piglia il libro aperto di mano dell'Angelo, che posa sulla terra, e sul mare.
9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.	9 E andai dall'Angelo a dirgli, che mi desse il libro. Ed ei mi disse: prendilo, e divoralo: e amareggerà il tuo ventre, ma alla tua bocca sarà dolce come il miele.
10 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.	10 E presi il libro di mano dell'Angelo, e lo divorai: ed era alla mia bocca dolce come miele: ma divorato che l'ebbi, funne amareggiato il mio ventre:
11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.	11 E disse a me: fa d'uopo, che tu profeti di bel nuovo a genti, e a popoli, e a linguaggi, e a molti re.
