Mark 13

KING JAMES BIBLE	JERUSALEM
1 And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!	1 Comme il s'en allait hors du Temple, un de ses disciples lui dit: "Maître, regarde, quelles pierres!quelles constructions!"
2 And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.	2 Et Jésus lui dit: "Tu vois ces grandes constructions? Il n'en restera pas pierre sur pierre qui ne soitjetée bas."
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately,	3 Et comme il était assis sur le mont des Oliviers en face du Temple, Pierre, Jacques, Jean et Andrél'interrogeaient en particulier:
4 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?	4 "Dis-nous quand cela aura lieu et quel sera le signe que tout cela va finir?"
5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you:	5 Alors Jésus se mit à leur dire: "Prenez garde qu'on ne vous abuse.
6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.	6 Il en viendra beaucoup sous mon nom, qui diront: C'est moi, et ils abuseront bien des gens.
7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.	7 Lorsque vous entendrez parler de guerres et de rumeurs de guerres, ne vous alarmez pas: il faut quecela arrive, mais ce ne sera pas encore la fin.
8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.	8 On se dressera, en effet, nation contre nation et royaume contre royaume. Il y aura par endroits destremblements de terre, il y aura des famines. Ce sera le commencement des douleurs de l'enfantement.
9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.	9 "Soyez sur vos gardes. On vous livrera aux sanhédrins, vous serez battus de verges dans lessynagogues et vous comparaîtrez devant des gouverneurs et des rois, à cause de moi, pour rendre témoignage enface d'eux.
10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.	10 Il faut d'abord que l'Evangile soit proclamé à toutes les nations.
11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.	11 "Et quand on vous emmènera pour vous livrer, ne vous préoccupez pas de ce que vous direz, maisdites ce qui vous sera donné sur le moment: car ce n'est pas vous qui parlerez, mais l'Esprit Saint.
12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.	12 Le frère livrera son frère à la mort, et le père son enfant; les enfants se dresseront contre leursparents et les feront mourir.
13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.	13 Et vous serez haïs de tous à cause de mon nom, mais celui qui aura tenu bon jusqu'au bout, celui-làsera sauvé.
14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:	14 "Lorsque vous verrez l'abomination de la désolation installée là où elle ne doit pas être (que lelecteur comprenne!) alors que ceux qui seront en Judée s'enfuient dans les montagnes,
15 And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:	15 que celui qui sera sur la terrasse ne descende pas pour rentrer dans sa maison et prendre ses affaires;
16 And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment.	16 et que celui qui sera aux champs ne retourne pas en arrière pour prendre son manteau!
17 But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!	17 Malheur à celles qui seront enceintes et à celles qui allaiteront en ces jours-là!
18 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.	18 Priez pour que cela ne tombe pas en hiver.
19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.	19 Car en ces jours-là il y aura une tribulation telle qu'il n'y en a pas eu de pareille depuis lecommencement de la création qu'a créée Dieu jusqu'à ce jour, et qu'il n'y en aura jamais plus.
20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.	20 Et si le Seigneur n'avait abrégé ces jours, nul n'aurait eu la vie sauve; mais à cause des élus qu'il achoisis, il a abrégé ces jours.
21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:	21 Alors si quelqu'un vous dit: Voici: le Christ est ici!, Voici: il est là!, n'en croyez rien.
22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.	22 Il surgira, en effet, des faux Christs et des faux prophètes qui opéreront des signes et des prodigespour abuser, s'il était possible, les élus.
23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.	23 Pour vous, soyez en garde: je vous ai prévenus de tout.
24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,	24 Mais en ces jours-là, après cette tribulation, le soleil s'obscurcira, la lune ne donnera plus salumière,
25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.	25 les étoiles se mettront à tomber du ciel et les puissances qui sont dans les cieux seront ébranlées.
26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.	26 Et alors on verra le Fils de l'homme venant dans des nuées avec grande puissance et gloire.
27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.	27 Et alors il enverra les anges pour rassembler ses élus, des quatre vents, de l'extrémité de la terre àl'extrémité du ciel.
28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:	28 "Du figuier apprenez cette parabole. Dès que sa ramure devient flexible et que ses feuilles poussent,vous comprenez que l'été est proche.
29 So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.	29 Ainsi vous, lorsque vous verrez cela arriver, comprenez qu'Il est proche, aux portes.
30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.	30 En vérité je vous le dis, cette génération ne passera pas que tout cela ne soit arrivé.
31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.	31 Le ciel et la terre passeront, mais mes paroles ne passeront point.
32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.	32 "Quant à la date de ce jour, ou à l'heure, personne ne les connaît, ni les anges dans le ciel, ni le Fils,personne que le Père.
33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.	33 "Soyez sur vos gardes, veillez, car vous ne savez pas quand ce sera le moment.
34 For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.	34 Il en sera comme d'un homme parti en voyage: il a quitté sa maison, donné pouvoir à ses serviteurs,à chacun sa tâche, et au portier il a recommandé de veiller.
35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:	35 Veillez donc, car vous ne savez pas quand le maître de la maison va venir, le soir, à minuit, au chantdu coq ou le matin,
36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.	36 de peur que, venant à l'improviste, il ne vous trouve endormis.
37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.	37 Et ce que je vous dis à vous, je le dis à tous: veillez!"
