1 These also are the generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that the LORD spake with Moses in mount Sinai.	1 Questa è la discendenza d'Aronne e di Mosè nel tempo, in cui il Signore parlò a Mosè sulmonte Sinai.
2 And these are the names of the sons of Aaron; Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.	2 E questi i nomi dei figliuoli d'Aronne: il primogenito di lui Nadab, di poi Abiu, edElcazar, e Ithamar.
3 These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests which were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in the priest's office.	3 Questi sono i nomi dei figliuoli d'Aronne sacerdoti, che furono unti, e de' quali furonripiene, e consacrate le mani, affinché facessero le funzioni del sacerdozio.
4 And Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD, when they offered strange fire before the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children: and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest's office in the sight of Aaron their father.	4 Nadab però e Abiu morirono senza figliuoli in offerendo al cospetto del Signore del fuocostraniero nel deserto del Sinai: ed Eleazar e Ithamar fecero le funzioni dei sacerdoziosotto gli occhi d'Aronne loro padre.
5 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,	5 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:
6 Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister unto him.	6 Fa' che si appressi la tribù di Levi, e stia dinanzi ad Aronne sacerdote, affinché loservano, o stieno di guardia,
7 And they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of the congregation, to do the service of the tabernacle.	7 E facciano in tutto le parti del popolo riguardo al culto sacro dinanzi al tabernacolo deltestimonio,
8 And they shall keep all the instruments of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.	8 E ne custodiscano i vasi, e nel servizio di esso (tabernacolo) sieno occupati.
9 And thou shalt give the Levites unto Aaron and to his sons: they are wholly given unto him out of the children of Israel.	9 E tu offerirai i Leviti
10 And thou shalt appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall wait on their priest's office: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.	10 Ad Aronne, e a' figliuoli di lui, a' quali eglino sono stati rimessi da' figliuolid'Israele. Ad Aronne, e a' figliuoli di lui assegnerai le funzioni del sacerdozio: qualunquealtro, che s'ingerisca in tal ministero, sarà messo a morte.
11 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,	11 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:
12 And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that openeth the matrix among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites shall be mine;	12 lo ho preso da' figliuoli d'Israele i Leviti in luogo di tutti i primogeniti, che aprono iprimi l'utero della lor madre, e saran miei i Leviti.
13 Because all the firstborn are mine; for on the day that I smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I hallowed unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast: mine shall they be: I am the LORD.	13 Imperocché miei sono tutti i primogeniti: da quel tempo, in cui uccisi i primogeniti nellaterra di Egitto, io consacrai a me tutti i primi parti in Israele: dall'uomo fino aglianimali sono miei. Io il Signore.
14 And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,	14 E il Signore parlò a Mosè nel deserto del Sinai, e disse:
15 Number the children of Levi after the house of their fathers, by their families: every male from a month old and upward shalt thou number them.	15 Novera i figliuoli di Levi secondo le case de' loro padri, e famiglie, tutti i maschi da unmese in su.
16 And Moses numbered them according to the word of the LORD, as he was commanded.	16 Mosè ne fece il novero, conforme avea ordinato il Signore.
17 And these were the sons of Levi by their names; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.	17 E questi sono i nomi de' figliuoli di Levi, Gerson, e Caath, e Merari:
18 And these are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families; Libni, and Shimei.	18 Figliuoli di Gerson Lebni, e Semei:
19 And the sons of Kohath by their families; Amram, and Izehar, Hebron, and Uzziel.	19 Figliuoli di Caath Amram, e Jesaar, Hebron, e Oziel:
20 And the sons of Merari by their families; Mahli, and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to the house of their fathers.	20 Figliuoli di Merari Moholi, e Musi.
21 Of Gershon was the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimites: these are the families of the Gershonites.	21 Da Gerson uscirono due famiglie, quella di Lebni, e quella di Semei:
22 Those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, even those that were numbered of them were seven thousand and five hundred.	22 Delle quali contati tutti i maschi da un mese in su fecero il numero di sette milacinquecento.
23 The families of the Gershonites shall pitch behind the tabernacle westward.	23 Questi avranno l'alloggiamento dietro al tabernacolo ad occidente,
24 And the chief of the house of the father of the Gershonites shall be Eliasaph the son of Lael.	24 Sotto Eliasaph, figliuolo di Lael, loro principe.
25 And the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation shall be the tabernacle, and the tent, the covering thereof, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,	25 E veglieranno sopra il tabernacolo dell'alleanza.
26 And the hangings of the court, and the curtain for the door of the court, which is by the tabernacle, and by the altar round about, and the cords of it for all the service thereof.	26 Avranno cura dello stesso tabernacolo, e delle sue coperte, della tenda, che si tira davantialla porta del tabernacolo dell'alleanza, e delle cortine dell'atrio: del velo parimente,che si sospende all'ingresso dell'atrio del tabernacolo, e di tutto quel che serve alministero dell'altare, delle corde del tabernacolo, e di tutti i suoi utensili.
27 And of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, and the family of the Izeharites, and the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites.	27 La discendenza di Caath avrà le famiglie degli Amramiti, e Gesaariti, e degli Ebroniti, edegli Ozieliti. Queste sono le famiglie de' Caathiti pe' loro nomi.
28 In the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were eight thousand and six hundred, keeping the charge of the sanctuary.	28 La somma di tutti i maschi da un mese in su, otto mila secento avranno cura del santuario,
29 The families of the sons of Kohath shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle southward.	29 E avranno alloggiamento dalla parte di mezzodì.
30 And the chief of the house of the father of the families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.	30 E il loro principe sarà Elisaphan, figliuolo di Oziel:
31 And their charge shall be the ark, and the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and the vessels of the sanctuary wherewith they minister, and the hanging, and all the service thereof.	31 Ed eglino avranno cura dell'arca, e della mensa, e del candeliere, degli altari, e de' vasidel santuario, che servono al ministero, e del velo, e di tutte le robe, che van con queste.
32 And Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be chief over the chief of the Levites, and have the oversight of them that keep the charge of the sanctuary.	32 Ed Eleazaro, figliuolo d'Aronne sacerdote, e primo principe de' Leviti, soprintenderà aquelli che hanno la custodia dell'arca.
33 Of Merari was the family of the Mahlites, and the family of the Mushites: these are the families of Merari.	33 Sotto Merari saranno le famiglie de' Moholiti, e dei Musiti, de' quali fu fatto il noveronei loro nomi:
34 And those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were six thousand and two hundred.	34 Tutti i maschi da un mese in su seimila dugento.
35 And the chief of the house of the father of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail: these shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle northward.	35 Il loro principe Suriel, figliuolo di Abihaiel: avranno gli alloggiamenti a settentrione.
36 And under the custody and charge of the sons of Merari shall be the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and the sockets thereof, and all the vessels thereof, and all that serveth thereto,	36 Saranno sotto la loro cura le tavole del tabernacolo, e le stanghe, e le colonne colle lorobasi, e tutte le cose, che vanno con queste.
37 And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords.	37 E parimente le colonne, che circondano l'atrio, colle loro basi, e i chiodi, e le funi.
38 But those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east, even before the tabernacle of the congregation eastward, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel; and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.	38 Mosè e Aronne coi suoi figliuoli avranno l'alloggiamento dinanzi al tabernacolodell'alleanza ad oriente, vegliando alla custodia del santuario in mezzo a' figliuolid'Israele: qualunque straniero vi si accosti, sarà messo a morte.
39 All that were numbered of the Levites, which Moses and Aaron numbered at the commandment of the LORD, throughout their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty and two thousand.	39 Tutti i Leviti di sesso mascolino da un mese in su, che furon contati famiglia per famigliada Mosè e da Aronne secondo il comandamento del Signore, furono ventidue mila.
40 And the LORD said unto Moses, Number all the firstborn of the males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.	40 E il Signore disse a Mosè: Conta i primogeniti maschi de' figliuoli d'Israele da un mese insu, e tienne registro.
41 And thou shalt take the Levites for me (I am the LORD) instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel; and the cattle of the Levites instead of all the firstlings among the cattle of the children of Israel.	41 E in vece di tutti i primogeniti de' figliuoli d'Israele, separerai per me i Leviti. Io sonoil Signore. E i loro bestiami in vece di tutti i primogeniti de' bestiami de' figliuolid'Israele.
42 And Moses numbered, as the LORD commanded him, all the firstborn among the children of Israel.	42 Mosè fece registro dei primogeniti de' figliuoli d'Israele, conforme aveva ordinato ilSignore.
43 And all the firstborn males by the number of names, from a month old and upward, of those that were numbered of them, were twenty and two thousand two hundred and threescore and thirteen.	43 E i maschi registrati pe' loro nomi da un mese in su furono ventidue mila dugentosettantatré.
44 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,	44 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:
45 Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead of their cattle; and the Levites shall be mine: I am the LORD.	45 Prendi i Leviti in luogo de' primogeniti dei figliuoli d'Israele, e i bestiami dei Leviti invece de' bestiami di quelli, e i Leviti saranno miei. Io sono il Signore.
46 And for those that are to be redeemed of the two hundred and threescore and thirteen of the firstborn of the children of Israel, which are more than the Levites;	46 E pel prezzo de' dugento settantatré primogeniti dei figliuoli d'Israele, i quali sono soprail numero dei Leviti,
47 Thou shalt even take five shekels apiece by the poll, after the shekel of the sanctuary shalt thou take them: (the shekel is twenty gerahs:)	47 Prenderai cinque sicli per testa al peso del santuario. Il siclo contiene venti oboli.
48 And thou shalt give the money, wherewith the odd number of them is to be redeemed, unto Aaron and to his sons.	48 E darai questo denaro ad Aronne, e a' figliuoli di lui pe' primogeniti, che sono di più.
49 And Moses took the redemption money of them that were over and above them that were redeemed by the Levites:	49 Prese adunque Mosè il denaro per quelli che erano di più, e pe' quali si pagava il riscattoa' Leviti.
50 Of the firstborn of the children of Israel took he the money; a thousand three hundred and threescore and five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:	50 Per questi primogeniti de' figliuoli d'Israele mille trecento sessantacinque sicli al pesodel santuario.
51 And Moses gave the money of them that were redeemed unto Aaron and to his sons, according to the word of the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses.	51 E lo diede ad Aronne, e a' suoi figliuoli secondo l'ordine datogli dal Signore.
