Hosea 5

KING JAMES BIBLE	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Hear ye this, O priests; and hearken, ye house of Israel; and give ye ear, O house of the king; for judgment is toward you, because ye have been a snare on Mizpah, and a net spread upon Tabor.	1 ¡Escuchen esto, sacerdotes, presta atención, casa de Israel, atienden, casa del rey, porque el juicio es con ustedes! Sí, ustedes han sido una trampa en Mispá y una red tendida sobre el Tabor.
2 And the revolters are profound to make slaughter, though I have been a rebuker of them all.	2 Ellos ahondaron la fosa de Sitím y yo los voy a corregir a todos.
3 I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hid from me: for now, O Ephraim, thou committest whoredom, and Israel is defiled.	3 Yo conozco a Efraím y no se me oculta Israel: porque tú, Efraím, has inducido a la prostitución, Israel se ha vuelto impuro.
4 They will not frame their doings to turn unto their God: for the spirit of whoredoms is in the midst of them, and they have not known the LORD.	4 Sus acciones no los dejan volver a su Dios, porque hay en medio de ellos un espíritu de prostitución y no conocen al Señor.
5 And the pride of Israel doth testify to his face: therefore shall Israel and Ephraim fall in their iniquity; Judah also shall fall with them.	5 La arrogancia de Jacob atestigua contra él; Israel y Efraím tropiezan por su propia culpa y junto con ellos, también tropieza Judá.
6 They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the LORD; but they shall not find him; he hath withdrawn himself from them.	6 Con sus rebaños y su ganado irán en busca del Señor, pero no lo encontrarán: él se ha librado de ellos.
7 They have dealt treacherously against the LORD: for they have begotten strange children: now shall a month devour them with their portions.	7 Han traicionado al Señor, porque engendraron bastardos: ahora la luna nueva los va a devorar, a ellos junto con sus campos.
8 Blow ye the cornet in Gibeah, and the trumpet in Ramah: cry aloud at Beth-aven, after thee, O Benjamin.	8 ¡Hagan sonar el cuerno en Guibeá y la trompeta en Ramá! ¡Den la alarma en Bet Aven! ¡Alerta, Benjamín!
9 Ephraim shall be desolate in the day of rebuke: among the tribes of Israel have I made known that which shall surely be.	9 Efraím será una desolación en el día del castigo; entre las tribus de Israel, yo hago saber una cosa cierta.
10 The princes of Judah were like them that remove the bound: therefore I will pour out my wrath upon them like water.	10 Los jefes de Judá han sido como los que desplazan los límites: sobre ellos derramaré mi furor a raudales.
11 Ephraim is oppressed and broken in judgment, because he willingly walked after the commandment.	11 Efraím está oprimido, se ha conculcado el derecho, porque él había resuelto ir detrás de la inmundicia.
12 Therefore will I be unto Ephraim as a moth, and to the house of Judah as rottenness.	12 Yo seré como polilla para Efraím y como caries para la casa de Judá.
13 When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah saw his wound, then went Ephraim to the Assyrian, and sent to king Jareb: yet could he not heal you, nor cure you of your wound.	13 Cuando Efraím vio su enfermedad y Judá su llaga, Efraím acudió a Asiria y Judá envió mensajeros al gran rey. Pero él no puede sanarlos ni curarlos de la llaga.
14 For I will be unto Ephraim as a lion, and as a young lion to the house of Judah: I, even I, will tear and go away; I will take away, and none shall rescue him.	14 Porque yo soy como un león para Efraím y como un cachorro de león para la casa de Judá. Yo, yo mismo desgarraré y me iré, me llevaré la presa y nadie me la arrancará.
15 I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early.	15 Yo me iré, regresaré a mi lugar, hasta que ellos se reconozcan culpables y busquen mi rostro: en su angustia, me buscarán ardientemente.
