1 Afterward he brought me to the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other side, which was the breadth of the tabernacle.	1 Mi condusse poi nel santo e misurò i pilastri: sei cubiti di larghezza da una parte e sei dall'altra; tale lo spessore dei pilastri.
2 And the breadth of the door was ten cubits; and the sides of the door were five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side: and he measured the length thereof, forty cubits: and the breadth, twenty cubits.	2 La porta d'ingresso era larga dieci cubiti e i lati di essa cinque cubiti da una parte e cinque cubiti dall'altra. Misurò quindi la lunghezza del santo: quaranta cubiti; la sua larghezza: venti cubiti.
3 Then went he inward, and measured the post of the door, two cubits; and the door, six cubits; and the breadth of the door, seven cubits.	3 Poi egli, entrato dentro, misurò il pilastro della porta: due cubiti. La porta era di sei cubiti e i lati della porta di sette cubiti.
4 So he measured the length thereof, twenty cubits; and the breadth, twenty cubits, before the temple: and he said unto me, This is the most holy place.	4 Misurò la lunghezza: venti cubiti; la larghezza: venti cubiti, dirimpetto al santo. Poi mi disse: "Questo è il santo dei santi".
5 After he measured the wall of the house, six cubits; and the breadth of every side chamber, four cubits, round about the house on every side.	5 Misurò le pareti del santuario: sei cubiti; lo spessore delle celle laterali, tutt'attorno al santuario: quattro cubiti.
6 And the side chambers were three, one over another, and thirty in order; and they entered into the wall which was of the house for the side chambers round about, that they might have hold, but they had not hold in the wall of the house.	6 Le celle laterali erano una sull'altra, a tre piani, con trenta celle per piano. Sul muro del santuario, vi erano rientranze come loro appoggi, senza però che gli appoggi fossero nel muro stesso del santuario.
7 And there was an enlarging, and a winding about still upward to the side chambers: for the winding about of the house went still upward round about the house: therefore the breadth of the house was still upward, and so increased from the lowest chamber to the highest by the midst.	7 L'ampiezza delle celle aumentava salendo da un piano all'altro, perché la sporgenza sul muro del tempio andava restringendosi, lasciando alle celle un'ampiezza maggiore. Si saliva al piano superiore dal basso, passando attraverso quello medio.
8 I saw also the height of the house round about: the foundations of the side chambers were a full reed of six great cubits.	8 Il basamento a ridosso del santuario era un rialzo tutt'intorno, come fondamento per le celle, alto una canna, cioè sei cubiti.
9 The thickness of the wall, which was for the side chamber without, was five cubits: and that which was left was the place of the side chambers that were within.	9 Lo spessore della parete esterna delle celle laterali era di cinque cubiti. Lo spazio libero tra l'edificio laterale
10 And between the chambers was the wideness of twenty cubits round about the house on every side.	10 e le stanze era di venti cubiti tutt'attorno al santuario.
11 And the doors of the side chambers were toward the place that was left, one door toward the north, and another door toward the south: and the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits round about.	11 L'edificio laterale aveva, sullo spazio libero, uno sbocco a nord e uno a sud. L'ampiezza dello spazio libero era di cinque cubiti tutt'attorno.
12 Now the building that was before the separate place at the end toward the west was seventy cubits broad; and the wall of the building was five cubits thick round about, and the length thereof ninety cubits.	12 L'edificio dirimpetto allo spiazzo riservato, nel lato occidentale, era profondo settanta cubiti, più il muro dell'edificio, spesso cinque cubiti su tutti i lati; ed era lungo novanta cubiti.
13 So he measured the house, an hundred cubits long; and the separate place, and the building, with the walls thereof, an hundred cubits long;	13 Egli misurò il santuario: lunghezza cento cubiti. Anche lo spiazzo riservato più l'edificio e le sue mura erano lunghi cento cubiti.
14 Also the breadth of the face of the house, and of the separate place toward the east, an hundred cubits.	14 La larghezza della facciata del santuario con lo spiazzo riservato a oriente: cento cubiti.
15 And he measured the length of the building over against the separate place which was behind it, and the galleries thereof on the one side and on the other side, an hundred cubits, with the inner temple, and the porches of the court;	15 Egli misurò anche la lunghezza dell'edificio di fronte allo spiazzo riservato, nella parte posteriore, che aveva scarpate da una parte e dall'altra: cento cubiti. 16 The door posts, and the narrow windows, and the galleries round about on their three stories, over against the door, cieled with wood round about, and from the ground up to the windows, and the windows were covered;	16 gli stipiti, le finestre a grate e le gallerie sui tre lati, a cominciare dalla soglia, erano rivestiti di tavole di legno tutt'intorno, dal pavimento sino alle finestre; le finestre erano fornite d'inferriata.
17 To that above the door, even unto the inner house, and without, and by all the wall round about within and without, by measure.	17 A partire dall'ingresso, sia verso l'interno del santuario sia verso l'esterno, su tutta la parete all'intorno, dentro e fuori, vi erano riquadri.
18 And it was made with cherubims and palm trees, so that a palm tree was between a cherub and a cherub; and every cherub had two faces;	18 Vi erano raffigurati cherubini e palme: una palma e un cherubino alternati; i cherubini avevano due facce:
19 So that the face of a man was toward the palm tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm tree on the other side: it was made through all the house round about.	19 la faccia d'uomo verso una palma e la faccia di leone verso l'altra palma. Erano raffigurati su tutto il santuario all'intorno.
20 From the ground unto above the door were cherubims and palm trees made, and on the wall of the temple.	20 Da terra fino all'altezza dell'ingresso erano raffigurati cherubini e palme.
21 The posts of the temple were squared, and the face of the sanctuary; the appearance of the one as the appearance of the other.	21 La parete del santo aveva lo stipite della porta a forma quadrata. Davanti al santo dei santi vi era qualcosa come
22 The altar of wood was three cubits high, and the length thereof two cubits; and the corners thereof, and the length thereof, and the walls thereof, were of wood: and he said unto me, This is the table that is before the LORD.	22 un altare di legno alto tre cubiti, lungo due e largo due; aveva gli angoli, la base e le pareti di legno. Quello mi spiegò: "Questa è la tavola che sta di fronte al Signore".
23 And the temple and the sanctuary had two doors.	23 Vi erano due porte, una per il santo e l'altra per il santo dei santi.
24 And the doors had two leaves apiece, two turning leaves; two leaves for the one door, and two leaves for the other door.	24 Le due porte avevano dei battenti completamente girevoli, due per l'una e due per l'altra.
25 And there were made on them, on the doors of the temple, cherubims and palm trees, like as were made upon the walls; and there were thick planks upon the face of the porch without.	25 Raffigurati su di esse c'erano cherubini e palme, come sulle pareti; c'era un portale di legno dirimpetto all'atrio, all'esterno.
26 And there were narrow windows and palm trees on the one side and on the other side, on the sides of the porch, and upon the side chambers of the house, and thick planks.	26 E c'erano inferriate e palme da una parte e dall'altra sui due fianchi dell'atrio, sulle celle annesse al santuario e sugli architravi.
