1 Afterward he brought me to the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other side, which was the breadth of the tabernacle.	1 Dann brachte er mich zur Tempelhalle und maß die Pfeiler zu beiden Seiten (des Eingangs); jeder war sechs Ellen dick. [So dick waren die Pfeiler.]
2 And the breadth of the door was ten cubits; and the sides of the door were five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side: and he measured the length thereof, forty cubits: and the breadth, twenty cubits.	2 Die Breite der Türöffnung betrug zehn Ellen und die der beiden Seitenwände neben der Türöffnung je fünf Ellen. Darauf maß er die Länge der Tempelhalle - vierzig Ellen - und ihre Breite - zwanzig Ellen.
3 Then went he inward, and measured the post of the door, two cubits; and the door, six cubits; and the breadth of the door, seven cubits.	3 Er trat ins Innere und maß die Pfeiler der Türöffnung (zum Allerheiligsten) - zwei Ellen - und die Türöffnung - sechs Ellen - sowie die Breite der Seitenwände neben der Türöffnung - sieben Ellen.
4 So he measured the length thereof, twenty cubits; and the breadth, twenty cubits, before the temple: and he said unto me, This is the most holy place.	4 Und er maß seine Länge - zwanzig Ellen - und seine Breite an der Seite der Tempelhalle - zwanzig Ellen. Und er sagte zu mir: Das ist das Allerheiligste.
5 After he measured the wall of the house, six cubits; and the breadth of every side chamber, four cubits, round about the house on every side.	5 Dann maß er die Mauer des Tempelgebäudes - sechs Ellen dick - und die Breite des Anbaus rings um das Tempelgebäude - vier Ellen.
6 And the side chambers were three, one over another, and thirty in order; and they entered into the wall which was of the house for the side chambers round about, that they might have hold, but they had not hold in the wall of the house.	6 (In dem Anbau waren) Nebenräume, einer am andern, im ganzen dreißig in drei Stockwerken. An der Mauer des Tempelgebäudes waren ringsum Vorsprünge für die (Deckenbalken der) Nebenräume; die Vorsprünge dienten als Auflagen; es brauchten also in der Wand des Tempelgebäudes keine Auflagen zu sein.
7 And there was an enlarging, and a winding about still upward to the side chambers: for the winding about of the house went still upward round about the house: therefore the breadth of the house was still upward, and so increased from the lowest chamber to the highest by the midst.	7 Durch die Nebenräume ergab sich bis zu einer bestimmten Höhe hinauf eine Verbreiterung, denn das Tempelgebäude war ringsum umbaut; durch diesen Anbau ergab sich eine Verbreiterung bis zu einer bestimmten Höhe. Vom untersten Stockwerk konnte man (im Innern) über das mittlere zum oberen hinaufsteigen.
8 I saw also the height of the house round about: the foundations of the side chambers were a full reed of six great cubits.	8 Das Tempelgebäude selbst konnte man von allen Seiten (über die Anbauten) herausragen sehen. Die Fundamente der Nebenräume waren eine ganze Messlatte dick - sechs Ellen.
9 The thickness of the wall, which was for the side chamber without, was five cubits: and that which was left was the place of the side chambers that were within.	9 Die Außenmauer des Anbaus war fünf Ellen dick. Zwischen den Nebenräumen des Tempelgebäudes
10 And between the chambers was the wideness of twenty cubits round about the house on every side.	10 und den (Priester- )Räumen war ein freier Platz von zwanzig Ellen Breite, der rings um den Tempel herumlief.
11 And the doors of the side chambers were toward the place that was left, one door toward the north, and another door toward the south: and the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits round about.	11 Aus dem Anbau führten zwei Türen ins Freie, eine im Norden und eine im Süden. Die Mauer des freien Platzes war ringsum fünf Ellen dick.
12 Now the building that was before the separate place at the end toward the west was seventy cubits broad; and the wall of the building was five cubits thick round about, and the length thereof ninety cubits.	12 Vor dem eingefriedeten Platz lag auf der Westseite ein (großes) Gebäude, das neunzig Ellen breit und siebzig Ellen lang war. Die Mauer dieses Gebäudes war ringsum fünf Ellen dick.
13 So he measured the house, an hundred cubits long; and the separate place, and the building, with the walls thereof, an hundred cubits long;	13 Dann maß er das Tempelgebäude - hundert Ellen lang - sowie den eingefriedeten Platz, das andere Gebäude und seine Mauern - auch hundert Ellen lang.
14 Also the breadth of the face of the house, and of the separate place toward the east, an hundred cubits.	14 Die Breite der Vorderseite des Tempels und des eingefriedeten Platzes betrug im Osten zusammen ebenfalls hundert Ellen.
15 And he measured the length of the building over against the separate place which was behind it, and the galleries thereof on the one side and on the other side, an hundred cubits, with the inner temple, and the porches of the court;	15 Und er maß die Breite des (großen) Gebäudes, das vor dem eingefriedeten Platz lag, auf der Rückseite und (die Länge) der Terrassenbauten auf seinen beiden Seiten - wieder je hundert Ellen. Das Innere der Tempelhalle und der Vorhalle, die aus dem Innenhof in den Tempel führt,
16 The door posts, and the narrow windows, and the galleries round about on their three stories, over against the door, cieled with wood round about, and from the ground up to the windows, and the windows were covered;	16 waren getäfelt. Die Rahmen der verschließbaren Fenster und die drei Gesimse, die von der Schwelle an ringsum liefen, waren aus Holz; ebenso gab es vom Fußboden bis zu den Fenstern - die Fenster waren verdeckbar -
17 To that above the door, even unto the inner house, and without, and by all the wall round about within and without, by measure.	17 und bis über die Türöffnungen hinauf eine Holztäfelung. Auf allen Wänden ringsum, auch auf den Wänden zum Innenraum und nach draußen, war die Täfelung in Felder eingeteilt, auf denen
18 And it was made with cherubims and palm trees, so that a palm tree was between a cherub and a cherub; and every cherub had two faces;	18 geschnitzte Kerubim und Palmen zu sehen waren, je eine Palme zwischen zwei Kerubim. Jeder Kerub hatte zwei Gesichter:
19 So that the face of a man was toward the palm tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm tree on the other side: it was made through all the house round about.	19 Ein Menschengesicht (blickte) zur einen Palme und ein Löwengesicht zur andern. So war das ganze Haus ringsum ausgestaltet.
20 From the ground unto above the door were cherubims and palm trees made, and on the wall of the temple.	20 Vom Fußboden bis über die Türöffnungen hinauf waren an der Tempelwand Kerubim und Palmen angebracht.
21 The posts of the temple were squared, and the face of the sanctuary; the appearance of the one as the appearance of the other.	21 Die Tür der Tempelhalle hatte einen vierfach gestuften Türrahmen. Vor dem Allerheiligsten war etwas, das aussah wie
22 The altar of wood was three cubits high, and the length thereof two cubits; and the corners thereof, and the length thereof, and the walls thereof, were of wood: and he said unto me, This is the table that is before the LORD.	22 ein Altar aus Holz, drei Ellen hoch, zwei Ellen lang und zwei Ellen breit. Seine Ecken, sein Sockel und seine Wände waren aus Holz. Der Mann sagte zu mir: Das ist der Tisch, der vor dem Herrn steht.
23 And the temple and the sanctuary had two doors.	23 Die Tempelhalle und das Allerheiligste hatten je eine Doppeltür.
24 And the doors had two leaves apiece, two turning leaves; two leaves for the one door, and two leaves for the other door.	24 Die Türen hatten zwei Türflügel, zwei drehbare Türflügel, zwei die eine Tür und zwei die andere Tür.
25 And there were made on them, on the doors of the temple, cherubims and palm trees, like as were made upon the walls; and there were thick planks upon the face of the porch without.	25 An den Türen der Tempelhalle waren Kerubim und Palmen angebracht wie an den Wänden. Außen, an der Vorderseite der Vorhalle, war ein Vordach aus Holz.
26 And there were narrow windows and palm trees on the one side and on the other side, on the sides of the porch, and upon the side chambers of the house, and thick planks.	26 An den beiden Seitenwänden der Vorhalle und an den Nebenräumen des Tempels [und an den Vordächern] waren verschließbare Fenster und Palmen.
