Ezekiel 38

KING JAMES BIBLE	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,	1 La palabra del Señor me llegó en estos términos:
2 Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,	2 Hijo de hombre, vuelve tu rostro hacia Gog, el príncipe supremo de Mésec y Tubal, en el país de Magog, y profetiza contra él.
3 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:	3 Tú dirás: Así habla el Señor: Aquí estoy contra ti, Gog, príncipe supremo de Mésec y Tubal.
4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords:	4 Yo te haré volver, te pondré garfios en las mandíbulas y te haré salir con todo tu ejército: caballos y jinetes, todos ellos perfectamente equipados, una multitud inmensa, todos con escudos y broqueles, y armados cada uno con su espada.
5 Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:	5 Persia, Cus y Put estarán con ellos, todos con escudos y cascos.
6 Gomer, and all his bands; the house of Togarmah of the north quarters, and all his bands: and many people with thee.	6 Gómer con todos sus escuadrones, Bet Togarmá, en los confines del norte, con todos sus escuadrones, y numerosos pueblos estarán contigo.
7 Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou, and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them.	7 Prepárate y permanece alerta, tú y toda la coalición que se ha concentrado junto a ti, y ponte a mi disposición.
8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.	8 Después de muchos días, se te encomendará una misión. Al cabo de los años, tú irás a un país restaurado de una masacre, a una nación congregada de entre pueblos numerosos en las montañas de Israel, que habrán estado en ruinas durante largo tiempo. Una vez que hayan sido sacados de entre los pueblos, todos ellos vivirán confiados.
9 Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee.	9 Entonces subirás como una tempestad, llegarás como un nubarrón hasta cubrir el país, tú con todos tus escuadrones, y numerosos pueblos contigo.
10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought:	10 Así habla el Señor: Aquel día, los pensamientos acudirán a tu mente y maquinarás un proyecto perverso.
11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,	11 Tú dirás: «Voy a subir contra un país abierto, atacaré a gente pacífica que vive confiada en ciudades sin murallas, sin cerrojos ni puertas».
12 To take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.	12 Tú irás a saquear los despojos, a conquistar un botín y a poner tu mano sobre unas ruinas que se han vuelto a poblar, sobre un pueblo que ha sido reunido de entre las naciones, que se ocupa de su ganado y de sus bienes, y habita en el Ombligo de la Tierra.
13 Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil?	13 Sabá, Dedán, los comerciantes de Tarsis y todos sus traficantes te dirán: «¿Vienes a saquear los despojos? ¿Has concentrado esta multitud para conquistar un botín, para llevarte plata y oro, para obtener ganado y posesiones, y para saquear grandes despojos?».
14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?	14 Por eso, profetiza, hijo de hombre. Tú le dirás a Gog: Así habla el Señor: Aquel día, cuando mi pueblo Israel viva confiado, ¿no es cierto que tú te movilizarás?
15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:	15 Vendrás de tu país, de los confines del norte, acompañado de pueblos numerosos, todos montados a caballo, con una enorme multitud y un ejército incontable.
16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.	16 Subirás contra mi pueblo Israel como un nubarrón, hasta cubrir el país. Esto sucederá al cabo de mucho tiempo: entonces, yo te haré venir contra mi país, para que las naciones me conozcan, cuando por medio de ti, Gog, manifieste mi santidad a la vista de ellas.
17 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?	17 Así habla el Señor: Sí, tú eres aquel de quien yo hablé antiguamente en medio de mis servidores, los profetas de Israel. En aquellos días, durante años, ellos profetizaron que yo te llevaría contra los israelitas.
18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.	18 Pero aquel día, cuando Gog llegue a la tierra de Israel –oráculo del Señor– estallará mi furor.
19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;	19 En mis celos y en el fuego de mi indignación, lo declaro: Sí, aquel día habrá un gran temblor en el suelo de Israel.
20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.	20 Temblarán ante mí los peces del mar, los pájaros del cielo, las bestias del campo, todos los reptiles que se arrastran por el suelo y todos los hombres que hay sobre la faz de la tierra. Se desplomarán las montañas, caerán las pendientes escarpadas y todos los muros se derrumbarán por tierra.
21 And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man's sword shall be against his brother.	21 Convocaré contra Gog toda clase de terrores –oráculo del Señor– y unos volverán la espada contra otros.
22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.	22 Le haré rendir cuentas por medio de la peste y de la sangre; haré caer una lluvia torrencial, duras piedras de granizo, fuego y azufre, sobre él, sobre sus escuadrones y sobre los numerosos pueblos que estarán con él.
23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD.	23 Así manifestaré mi grandeza y mi santidad y me daré a conocer a la vista de numerosas naciones, y ellas sabrán que yo soy el Señor.
