1 And it came to pass on the eighth day, that Moses called Aaron and his sons, and the elders of Israel;	1 Le huitième jour, Moïse appela Aaron et ses fils, et les anciens d'Israël, et il dit à Aaron :
2 And he said unto Aaron, Take thee a young calf for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, without blemish, and offer them before the LORD.	2 Prends de ton troupeau un veau pour le péché, et un bélier pour en faire un holocauste, l'un et l'autre sans tache, et offre-les devant le Seigneur.
3 And unto the children of Israel thou shalt speak, saying, Take ye a kid of the goats for a sin offering; and a calf and a lamb, both of the first year, without blemish, for a burnt offering;	3 Tu diras aussi aux enfants (fils) d'Israël : Prenez un bouc pour le péché, un veau et un agneau d'un an sans tache, pour en faire un holocauste,
4 Also a bullock and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the LORD; and a meat offering mingled with oil: for to day the LORD will appear unto you.	4 un bœuf et un bélier pour les hosties pacifiques ; et immolez-les devant le Seigneur, en offrant avec chacun de ces sacrifices de la (pure) (fleur de) farine mêlée d'huile ; car le Seigneur vous apparaîtra aujourd'hui.
5 And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD.	5 Ils mirent donc à l'entrée du tabernacle tout ce que Moïse leur avait ordonné, et toute l'assemblée du peuple se tenant là debout,
6 And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do: and the glory of the LORD shall appear unto you.	6 Moïse leur dit : C'est là ce que le Seigneur vous a commandé ; faites-le, et sa gloire vous apparaîtra.
7 And Moses said unto Aaron, Go unto the altar, and offer thy sin offering, and thy burnt offering, and make an atonement for thyself, and for the people: and offer the offering of the people, and make an atonement for them; as the LORD commanded.	7 Alors il dit à Aaron : Approche-toi de l'autel, et immole pour ton péché ; offre l'holocauste, et prie pour toi et pour le peuple ; et lorsque tu auras sacrifié l'hostie pour le peuple, prie pour lui, selon que le Seigneur l'a ordonné.
8 Aaron therefore went unto the altar, and slew the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.	8 Aaron aussitôt, s'approchant de l'autel, immola un (le) veau pour son péché ;
9 And the sons of Aaron brought the blood unto him: and he dipped his finger in the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the bottom of the altar:	9 et ses fils lui en ayant présenté le sang, il y trempa le doigt, dont il toucha les cornes de l'autel, et il répandit le reste du sang au pied de l'autel.
10 But the fat, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver of the sin offering, he burnt upon the altar; as the LORD commanded Moses.	10 Il fit brûler aussi sur l'autel la graisse, les reins et la taie (membrane réticulaire) du foie qui sont pour le péché, selon que le Seigneur l'avait commandé à Moïse ;
11 And the flesh and the hide he burnt with fire without the camp.	11 mais il consuma par le feu hors du camp la chair et la peau.
12 And he slew the burnt offering; and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled round about upon the altar.	12 Il immola aussi la victime de l'holocauste, et ses fils lui en ayant présenté le sang, il le répandit autour de l'autel.
13 And they presented the burnt offering unto him, with the pieces thereof, and the head: and he burnt them upon the altar.	13 Ils lui présentèrent aussi la victime coupée par morceaux, avec la tête et tous les membres, et il brûla le tout sur l'autel,
14 And he did wash the inwards and the legs, and burnt them upon the burnt offering on the altar.	14 après avoir lavé dans l'eau les intestins et les pieds.
15 And he brought the people's offering, and took the goat, which was the sin offering for the people, and slew it, and offered it for sin, as the first.	15 Il égorgea (immola) aussi un bouc qu'il offrit pour le péché du peuple ; et ayant purifié l'autel,
16 And he brought the burnt offering, and offered it according to the manner.	16 il offrit l'holocauste,
17 And he brought the meat offering, and took an handful thereof, and burnt it upon the altar, beside the burnt sacrifice of the morning.	17 et il ajouta à ce sacrifice les oblations non sanglantes qui se présentent en même temps, qu'il fit brûler sur l'autel, outre les cérémonies de l'holocauste qui s'offre tous les matins.
18 He slew also the bullock and the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings, which was for the people: and Aaron's sons presented unto him the blood, which he sprinkled upon the altar round about,	18 Il immola aussi un (le) bœuf et un (le) bélier, qui étaient les hosties pacifiques pour le peuple ; et ses fils lui en présentèrent le sang, qu'il répandit sur l'autel tout autour.
19 And the fat of the bullock and of the ram, the rump, and that which covereth the inwards, and the kidneys, and the caul above the liver:	19 Ils mirent aussi sur la poitrine de ces victimes la graisse du bœuf, la queue du bélier, les reins avec leur graisse, et la taie du foie (Mais la graisse du bœuf, la queue du bélier, les reins avec leurs graisses et la membrane réticulaire du foie,).
20 And they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burnt the fat upon the altar:	20 (ils les posèrent sur les poitrines) Et les graisses ayant été brûlées sur l'autel,
21 And the breasts and the right shoulder Aaron waved for a wave offering before the LORD; as Moses commanded.	21 Aaron mit à part la poitrine et l'épaule droite des victimes, les élevant devant le Seigneur, comme Moïse l'avait ordonné.
22 And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings.	22 Il étendit ensuite ses mains vers le peuple et il le bénit. Ayant ainsi achevé les oblations des hosties pour le péché, des holocaustes et des (sacrifices) pacifiques, il descendit.
23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the people.	23 Moïse et Aaron entrèrent alors dans le tabernacle du (de) témoignage, et en étant ensuite sortis, ils bénirent le peuple. En même temps la gloire du Seigneur apparut à toute l'assemblée du peuple ;
24 And there came a fire out from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.	24 et voici qu'un feu sorti du Seigneur dévora l'holocauste et les graisses qui étaient sur l'autel. Ce que tout le peuple ayant vu, ils louèrent le Seigneur et se prosternèrent le visage contre terre.
