Psalms 24

KING JAMES BIBLE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.	1 [Psalm Of David] To Yahweh belong the earth and al it contains, the world and al who live there;
2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.	2 it is he who laid its foundations on the seas, on the flowing waters fixed it firm.
3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?	3 Who shal go up to the mountain of Yahweh? Who shal take a stand in his holy place?
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.	4 The clean of hands and pure of heart, whose heart is not set on vanities, who does not swear an oathin order to deceive.
5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.	5 Such a one wil receive blessing from Yahweh, saving justice from the God of his salvation.
6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.	6 Such is the people that seeks him, that seeks your presence, God of Jacob.Pause
7 Lift up your head, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.	7 Gates, lift high your heads, raise high the ancient gateways, and the king of glory shal enter!
8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.	8 Who is he, this king of glory? It is Yahweh, strong and valiant, Yahweh valiant in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.	9 Gates, lift high your heads, raise high the ancient gateways, and the king of glory shal enter!
10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.	10 Who is he, this king of glory? Yahweh Sabaoth, he is the king of glory.Pause
