Psalms 15

KING JAMES BIBLE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?	1 [Psalm Of David] Yahweh, who can find a home in your tent, who can dwell on your holy mountain?
2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.	2 Whoever lives blamelessly, who acts uprightly, who speaks the truth from the heart,
3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.	3 who keeps the tongue under control, who does not wrong a comrade, who casts no discredit on aneighbour,
4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.	4 who looks with scorn on the vile, but honours those who fear Yahweh, who stands by an oath at anycost,
5 He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.	5 who asks no interest on loans, who takes no bribe to harm the innocent. No one who so acts can everbe shaken.
