1 LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.	1 [Ein Wallfahrtslied.] Herr, mein Herz ist nicht stolz, nicht hochmütig blicken meine Augen. Ich gehe nicht um mit Dingen, die mir zu wunderbar und zu hoch sind.
2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.	2 Ich ließ meine Seele ruhig werden und still; wie ein kleines Kind bei der Mutter ist meine Seele still in mir.
3 Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.	3 Israel, harre auf den Herrn von nun an bis in Ewigkeit!
