1 Now these are the children of the province that went up out of the captivity, of those which had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away unto Babylon, and came again unto Jerusalem and Judah, every one unto his city;	1 Voici les gens de la province qui revinrent de la captivité et de l'exil, ceux que Nabuchodonosor, roide Babylone, avait déportés à Babylone; ils retournèrent à Jérusalem et en Juda, chacun dans sa ville.

61 And of the children of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai; which took a wife of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite, and was called after their name:	61 Et parmi les fils des prêtres: les fils de Hobayya, les fils d'Haqqoç, les fils de Barzillaï -- celui-ciavait pris pour femme l'une des filles de Barzillaï, le Galaadite, dont il adopta le nom.
62 These sought their register among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but they were not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.	62 Ceux-là recherchèrent leurs registres généalogiques mais ne les trouvèrent pas: on les écarta doncdu sacerdoce comme impurs
63 And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and with Thummim.	63 et Son Excellence leur interdit de manger des aliments sacrés jusqu'à ce qu'un prêtre se levât pourl'Urim et le Tummim.
64 The whole congregation together was forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore,	64 L'assemblée tout entière se montait à 42.360 individus,
65 Beside their servants and their maids, of whom there were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: and there were among them two hundred singing men and singing women.	65 sans compter leurs esclaves et leurs servantes au nombre de 7.337. Ils avaient aussi 200 chanteurs etchanteuses.
66 Their horses were seven hundred thirty and six; their mules, two hundred forty and five;	66 Leurs chevaux étaient au nombre de 736, leurs mulets au nombre de 245,
67 Their camels, four hundred thirty and five; their asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty.	67 leurs chameaux au nombre de 435 et leurs ânes au nombre de 6.720.
68 And some of the chief of the fathers, when they came to the house of the LORD which is at Jerusalem, offered freely for the house of God to set it up in his place:	68 Un certain nombre de chefs de famille, en arrivant au Temple de Yahvé qui est à Jérusalem, firentdes offrandes de dévotion pour le Temple de Dieu, afin qu'on le rétablît en son site.
69 They gave after their ability unto the treasure of the work threescore and one thousand drams of gold, and five thousand pound of silver, and one hundred priests' garments.	69 Selon leurs possibilités, ils versèrent au trésor du culte 61.000 drachmes d'or, 5.000 mines d'argentet cent tuniques sacerdotales.
70 So the priests, and the Levites, and some of the people, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims, dwelt in their cities, and all Israel in their cities.	70 Prêtres, lévites et une partie du peuple s'installèrent à Jérusalem; chantres, portiers et "donnés" dansleurs villes, et tous les autres Israélites dans leurs villes.
