1 And it came to pass at the end of twenty years, wherein Solomon had built the house of the LORD, and his own house,	1 Passados vinte anos, depois que Salomão edificou a casa do Senhor e o seu palácio,
2 That the cities which Huram had restored to Solomon, Solomon built them, and caused the children of Israel to dwell there.	2 reedificou as cidades que Hirão lhe tinha dado, e fez habitar nelas os filhos de Israel.
3 And Solomon went to Hamath-zobah, and prevailed against it.	3 Foi também a Emat de Suba, e ocupou-a.
4 And he built Tadmor in the wilderness, and all the store cities, which he built in Hamath.	4 Fundou Palmira, no deserto, e edificou outras cidades fortíssimas em Emat.
5 Also he built Beth-horon the upper, and Beth-horon the nether, fenced cities, with walls, gates, and bars;	5 Restaurou Betoron, tanto a alta como a baixa, cidades muradas, que tinham portas, ferrolhos e fechaduras.
6 And Baalath, and all the store cities that Solomon had, and all the chariot cities, and the cities of the horsemen, and all that Solomon desired to build in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and throughout all the land of his dominion.	6 Restaurou também Balaat e todas as cidades fortes, que pertenciam a Salomão, cidades para carros e cidades para cavalaria. Salomão edificou tudo o que quis e ideou, assim em Jerusalém, como no Líbano, e em todo o país do seu domínio.
7 As for all the people that were left of the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which were not of Israel,	7 A todos os que tinham ficado dos Heteus, dos Amorreus, dos Ferezeus, dos Heveus e dos Jebuseus, que não eram da linhagem de Israel,
8 But of their children, who were left after them in the land, whom the children of Israel consumed not, them did Solomon make to pay tribute until this day.	8 - descendentes daqueles que as filhas de Israel tinham deixado com vida - Salomão a todos impôs a condição de trabalhadores, (escravos) em que ainda hoje se encontram.
9 But of the children of Israel did Solomon make no servants for his work; but they were men of war, and chief of his captains, and captains of his chariots and horsemen.	9 Porém, dos filhos de Israel não lançou mão para trabalharem, como escravos, nas obras do rei: estes eram homens de guerra, primeiros oficiais e comandantes dos seus carros e da sua cavalaria.
10 And these were the chief of king Solomon's officers, even two hundred and fifty, that bare rule over the people.	10 Todos os chefes dos inspetores do rei Salomão chegavam ao número de duzentos e cinquenta, os quais exerciam vigilância sobre o povo.
11 And Solomon brought up the daughter of Pharaoh out of the city of David unto the house that he had built for her: for he said, My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because the places are holy, whereunto the ark of the LORD hath come.	11 Salomão mudou a filha de Faraó da cidade de Davide para a casa que lhe tinha edificado, porque, disse: Não habitará minha mulher na casa de Davide, rei de Israel, porquanto foi santificada, quando entrou nela a arca do Senhor.
12 Then Solomon offered burnt offerings unto the LORD on the altar of the LORD, which he had built before the porch,	12 Então Salomão ofereceu holocaustos ao Senhor sobre o altar do Senhor, que tinha levantado diante do pórtico,
13 Even after a certain rate every day, offering according to the commandment of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts, three times in the year, even in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles.	13 com o fim de se oferecerem nele todos os dias sacrifícios, conforme a ordenação de Moisés, e nos sábados, nas Neoménias e nos dias de festa, três vezes no ano, a saber: na festa dos ázimos, na festa das semanas e na festa dos tabernáculos.
14 And he appointed, according to the order of David his father, the courses of the priests to their service, and the Levites to their charges, to praise and minister before the priests, as the duty of every day required: the porters also by their courses at every gate: for so had David the man of God commanded.	14 Distribuiu, segundo as disposições de Davide, seu pai, as funções aos sacerdotes nos seus ministérios, assim como aos Levitas, que cantavam louvores ao Senhor e serviam aos sacerdotes, segundo o rito de cada dia; distribuiu também os porteiros por cada uma das portas, porque assim o tinha mandado Davide, homem de Deus.
15 And they departed not from the commandment of the king unto the priests and Levites concerning any matter, or concerning the treasures.	15 E não transgrediram a ordem do rei, tanto os sacerdotes como os Levitas, em tudo o que lhes tinha mandado, (principalmente) na guarda dos tesouros.
16 Now all the work of Solomon was prepared unto the day of the foundation of the house of the LORD, and until it was finished. So the house of the LORD was perfected.	16 Salomão teve preparadas todas as coisas necessárias, desde o dia em que começou a lançar os fundamentos da casa do Senhor, até ao dia em que acabou.
17 Then went Solomon to Ezion-geber, and to Eloth, at the sea side in the land of Edom.	17 Então foi Salomão a Asiongaber, e a Ailat, no litoral do mar Vermelho, terra de Edom.
18 And Huram sent him by the hands of his servants ships, and servants that had knowledge of the sea; and they went with the servants of Solomon to Ophir, and took thence four hundred and fifty talents of gold, and brought them to king Solomon.	18 O rei Hirão mandou-lhe, por meio dos seus servos, naus e marinheiros práticos do mar, que foram com a gente de Salomão a Ofir, e de lá trouxeram ao rei Salomão quatrocentos e cinquenta talentos de ouro.
