1 Now these were the sons of David, which were born unto him in Hebron; the firstborn Amnon, of Ahinoam the Jezreelitess; the second Daniel, of Abigail the Carmelitess:1 Voici les fils de David qui lui naquirent à Hébron. L'aîné fut Amnon, fils d'Achinoam de Jezrahel. Le second, Daniel, fils d'Abigaïl du Carmel.
2 The third, Absalom the son of Maachah the daughter of Talmai king of Geshur: the fourth, Adonijah the son of Haggith:2 Le troisième, Absalom, fils de Maacha, qui était fille de Tholmaï, roi de Gessur. Le quatrième, Adonias, fils d'Aggith.
3 The fifth, Shephatiah of Abital: the sixth, Ithream by Eglah his wife.3 Le cinquième, Saphatias, fils d'Abital. Le sixième, Jethraham, fils d'Egla, sa femme.
4 These six were born unto him in Hebron; and there he reigned seven years and six months: and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty and three years.4 Ainsi David eut six fils à Hébron, où il régna sept ans et demi. Mais il régna trente-trois ans à Jérusalem.
5 And these were born unto him in Jerusalem; Shimea, and Shobab, and Nathan, and Solomon, four, of Bath-shua the daughter of Ammiel:5 Et les fils qu'il eut à Jérusalem furent : Simmaa, Sobab, Nathan, Salomon; tous quatre fils de Bethsabée, fille d'Ammiel.
6 Ibhar also, and Elishama, and Eliphelet,6 Il eut encore Jébaar, et Elisama,
7 And Nogah, and Nepheg, and Japhia,7 Eliphaleth, Nogé, Népheg et Japhia,
8 And Elishama, and Eliada, and Eliphelet, nine.8 comme aussi Elisama, Eliada, Eliphéleth, c'est-à-dire neuf.
9 These were all the sons of David, beside the sons of the concubines, and Tamar their sister.9 Ce sont là tous les fils de David, outre les fils de ses concubines. Et ils eurent une soeur, nommée Thamar.
10 And Solomon's son was Rehoboam, Abia his son, Asa his son, Jehoshaphat his son,10 Or Salomon fut père de Roboam, qui eut pour fils Abia, lequel engendra Asa, duquel est né Josaphat,
11 Joram his son, Ahaziah his son, Joash his son,11 père de Joram, qui engendra Ochozias, et de celui-ci naquit Joas.
12 Amaziah his son, Azariah his son, Jotham his son,12 Joas eut pour fils Amasias, père d'Azarias; et le fils d'Azarias fut Joathan,
13 Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son,13 qui engendra Achaz, père d'Ezéchias, qui eut pour fils Manassé.
14 Amon his son, Josiah his son.14 Manassé engendra Amon, père de Josias,
15 And the sons of Josiah were, the firstborn Johanan, the second Jehoiakim, the third Zedekiah, the fourth Shallum.15 dont les fils furent : Johanan, l'aîné; le second, Joakim; le troisième, Sédécias; le quatrième, Sellum.
16 And the sons of Jehoiakim: Jeconiah his son, Zedekiah his son.16 De Joakim sont venus Jéchonias et Sédécias.
17 And the sons of Jeconiah; Assir, Salathiel his son,17 Les fils de Jéchonias furent : Asir, Salathiel,
18 Malchiram also, and Pedaiah, and Shenazar, Jecamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.18 Melchiram, Phadaïa, Sennéser et Jécémia, Sama, et Nadabia.
19 And the sons of Pedaiah were, Zerubbabel, and Shimei: and the sons of Zerubbabel; Meshullam, and Hananiah, and Shelomith their sister:19 De Phadaïa sont venus Zorobabel et Séméi, Zorobabel engendra Mosolla et Hanani, et Salomith, leur soeur;
20 And Hashubah, and Ohel, and Berechiah, and Hasadiah, Jushab-hesed, five.20 et encore ces cinq autres, Hasaban, Ohol, Barachias, Hasadias, et Josabhésed.
21 And the sons of Hananiah; Pelatiah, and Jesaiah: the sons of Rephaiah, the sons of Arnan, the sons of Obadiah, the sons of Shechaniah.21 Hananias eut pour fils Phaltias, qui fut père de Jéséias, dont le fils, nommé Raphaïa, fut père d'Arman, duquel est venu Obdia, qui eut pour fils Séchénias.
22 And the sons of Shechaniah; Shemaiah; and the sons of Shemaiah; Hattush, and Igeal, and Bariah, and Neariah, and Shaphat, six.22 Le fils de Séchénias fut Séméia, duquel sont sortis Hattus, Jégaal, Baria, Naaria et Saphat, six en tout.
23 And the sons of Neariah; Elioenai, and Hezekiah, and Azrikam, three.23 Naarias eut trois fils : Elioénaï, Ezéchias et Ezricam.
24 And the sons of Elioenai were, Hodaiah, and Eliashib, and Pelaiah, and Akkub, and Johanan, and Dalaiah, and Anani, seven.24 Eliocénaï en eut sept : Oduïa, Eliasub, Phéléia, Accub, Johanan, Dalaïa, et Anani.
