JERUSALEM	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Classes des fils d'Aaron: fils d'Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eléazar et Itamar.	1 Orders of the sons of Aaron: Sons of Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, Ithamar.
2 Nadab et Abihu moururent en présence de leur père sans laisser de fils, et c'est Eléazar etItamar qui devinrent prêtres.	2 Nadab and Abihu died in their father's lifetime leaving no children, so Eleazar and Ithamar fil ed theoffice of priest.
3 David les répartit en classes, ainsi que Sadoq, l'un des fils d'Eléazar, et Ahimélek, l'un desfils d'Itamar, et les recensa selon leurs services.	3 With Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, David allocated themaccording to the classification of their duties.
4 Les fils d'Eléazar se trouvèrent avoir plus de chefs de preux que les fils d'Itamar; on formaseize classes avec les chefs de famille des fils d'Eléazar et huit avec les chefs de famille des fils d'Itamar.	4 Since the sons of Eleazar were found to have more headmen than the sons of Ithamar, they allocatedsixteen heads of families to the sons of Eleazar and eight heads of families to the sons of Ithamar.

16 Petahya le dix-neuvième, Yehèzqel le vingtième,	16 the nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezkel,
17 Yakîn le vingt et unième, Gamul le vingt-deuxième,	17 the twenty-first to Jachin, the twenty-second to Gamul,
18 Delayahu le vingt-troisième, Maazyahu le vingt-quatrième.	18 the twenty- third to Delaiah and the twenty-fourth to Maaziah.
19 Tels sont ceux qui furent recensés selon leur service, pour entrer dans le Temple de Yahvé,conformément à leur règle, règle transmise par Aaron, leur père, comme le lui avait prescrit Yahvé, Dieud'Israël.	19 These were their classifications for their duties when they entered the House of Yahweh inaccordance with their prescriptions laid down by Aaron their ancestor as Yahweh, God of Israel, hadcommanded him.

22 Pour les Yiçharites, Shelomot; pour les fils de Shelomot, Yahat.	22 Of the sons of Izhar: Shelomoth; of the sons of Shelomoth: Jahath.
23 Fils de Hébrôn: Yeriyya le premier, Amaryahu le second, Yahaziel le troisième, Yeqaméamle quatrième.	23 Of the sons of Hebron: Jeriah the first, Amariah the second, Jahaziel the third, Jekameam the fourth.

31 Comme les fils d'Aaron, leurs frères, ils tirèrent au sort en présence du roi David, de Sadoq,d'Ahimélek, et des chefs de familles sacerdotales et lévitiques, les premières familles comme les plus petites.	31 Like their kinsmen, the sons of Aaron, these heads of families, senior and junior alike, also drew lotsin the presence of King David, Zadok, Ahimelech, and the heads of the priestly and levitical families.
