1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write: These things saith he, who holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks:	1 Escribe al ángel de la Iglesia en Éfeso: Esto dice el que tiene las siete estrellas en su derecha, el que camina en medio de los siete candelabros de oro.
2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them that are evil, and thou hast tried them, who say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:	2 Conozco tus obras, tu fatiga, tu perseverancia, que no puedes soportar a los malvados, y que has puesto a prueba a los que se llaman apóstoles, pero no lo son, y has descubierto que son mentirosos.
3 And thou hast patience, and hast endured for my name, and hast not fainted.	3 Tienes perseverancia y has sufrido por mi nombre y no has desfallecido.
4 But I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first charity.	4 Pero tengo contra ti que has abandonado tu amor primero.
5 Be mindful therefore from whence thou art fallen: and do penance, and do the first works. Or else I come to thee, and will move thy candlestick out of its place, except thou do penance.	5 Acuérdate, pues, de dónde has caído, conviértete y haz las obras primeras. Si no, vendré a ti y removeré tu candelabro, si no te conviertes.
6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaites, which I also hate.	6 Con todo, tienes esto a favor: que aborreces las obras de los nicolaítas, que yo también aborrezco.
7 He, that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches: To him, that overcometh, I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of my God.	7 El que tenga oídos, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias. Al vencedor le daré a comer del árbol de la vida, que está en el paraíso de Dios.
8 And to the angel of the church of Smyrna write: These things saith the First and the Last, who was dead, and is alive:	8 Escribe al ángel de la Iglesia en Esmirna: Esto dice el Primero y el Último, el que estuvo muerto y ha vuelto a la vida.
9 I know thy tribulation and thy poverty, but thou art rich: and thou art blasphemed by them that say they are Jews and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.	9 Conozco tu tribulación y tu pobreza —aunque eres rico— y las calumnias de los que se llaman judíos pero que no son sino sinagoga de Satanás.
10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer. Behold, the devil will cast some of you into prison that you may be tried: and you shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful until death: and I will give thee the crown of life.	10 No tengas miedo de lo que vas a padecer. Mira, el Diablo va a meter a algunos de vosotros en la cárcel para que seáis tentados durante diez días. Sé fiel hasta la muerte y te daré la corona de la vida.
11 He, that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches: He that shall overcome, shall not be hurt by the second death.	11 El que tenga oídos, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias. El vencedor no sufrirá daño de la muerte segunda.
12 And to the angel of the church of Pergamus write: These things, saith he, that hath the sharp two edged sword:	12 Escribe al ángel de la Iglesia en Pérgamo: Esto dice el que tiene la espada aguda de doble filo.
13 I know where thou dwellest, where the seat of Satan is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith. Even in those days when Antipas was my faithful witness, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.	13 Sé que habitas donde está el trono de Satanás; pero mantienes mi nombre y no has renegado de mi fe ni siquiera en los días de Antipas, mi testigo fiel, a quien han dado muerte entre vosotros, ahí donde Satanás habita.
14 But I have against thee a few things: because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat, and to commit fornication:	14 Pero tengo algo contra ti: tienes ahí a los que profesan la enseñanza de Balaán, el que enseñó a Balac a poner tropiezos a los hijos de Israel, a comer de lo sacrificado a los ídolos y a fornicar.
15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaites.	15 De la misma manera también tú tienes a los que profesan igualmente la doctrina de los nicolaítas.
16 In like manner do penance: if not, I will come to thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.	16 Conviértete, pues; si no, vendré pronto a ti y combatiré contra ellos con la espada de mi boca.
17 He, that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches: To him that overcometh, I will give the hidden manna, and will give him a white counter, and in the counter, a new name written, which no man knoweth, but he that receiveth it.	17 El que tenga oídos, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias. Al vencedor le daré el maná escondido, y una piedrecita blanca, y escrito en ella un nombre nuevo, que nadie conoce sino aquel que lo recibe.
18 And to the angel of the church of Thyatira write: These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like to a flame of fire, and his feet like to fine brass.	18 Escribe al ángel de la Iglesia en Tiatira: Esto dice el Hijo de Dios, el que tiene sus ojos como llama de fuego y sus pies como bronce bruñido.
19 I know thy works, and thy faith, and thy charity, and thy ministry, and thy patience, and thy last works which are more than the former.	19 Conozco tus obras, tu amor, tu fe, tu servicio, tu perseverancia, que tus obras últimas son mejores que las primeras.
20 But I have against thee a few things: because thou sufferest the woman Jezabel, who calleth herself a prophetess, to teach, and to seduce my servants, to commit fornication, and to eat of things sacrificed to idols.	20 Pero tengo contra ti que permites a esa mujer Jezabel, que se llama profetisa, enseñar y engañar a mis siervos a fornicar y comer de lo sacrificado a los ídolos.
21 And I gave her a time that she might do penance, and she will not repent of her fornication.	21 Yo le he dado un tiempo para que se convierta, pero no quiere convertirse de su fornicación.
22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed: and they that commit adultery with her shall be in very great tribulation, except they do penance from their deeds.	22 Mira, voy a postrarla en cama, y a los que adulteren con ella los someteré a una gran tribulación, si no se convierten de sus obras;
23 And I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am he that searcheth the reins and hearts, and I will give to every one of you according to your works. But to you I say,	23 y a sus hijos los heriré de muerte; y todas las iglesias conocerán que yo soy el que sondea entrañas y corazones, y os daré a cada uno según vuestras obras.
24 And to the rest who are at Thyatira: Whosoever have not this doctrine, and who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I will not put upon you any other burthen.	24 Pero a vosotros, los demás de Tiatira, a cuantos no profesáis esta doctrina, los que no habéis conocido las profundidades de Satanás, como ellos las llaman, os digo: no os impongo otra carga.
25 Yet that, which you have, hold fast till I come.	25 Solo que mantengáis lo que tenéis hasta que yo vuelva.
26 And he that shall overcome, and keep my works unto the end, I will give him power over the nations.	26 Al vencedor, que cumpla mis obras hasta el final, le daré autoridad sobre las naciones
27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron, and as the vessel of a potter they shall be broken,	27 y las pastoreará con cetro de hierro y se quebrarán como vasos de loza,
28 As I also have received of my Father: and I will give him the morning star.	28 como yo he recibido de mi Padre; y le daré la estrella de la mañana.
29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches.	29 El que tenga oídos, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias.
