1 The burden of the word of the Lord in the land of Hadrach, and of Damascus the rest thereof: for the eye of man, and of all the tribes of Israel is the Lord's.	1 Fardeau de la parole du Seigneur contre le pays de Hadrach, et contre Damas, sur laquelle elle se repose; car l'oeil du Seigneur est fixé sur les hommes et sur toutes les tribus d'Israël.
2 Emath also in the borders thereof, and Tyre, and Sidon: for they have taken to themselves to be exceeding wise.	2 Cet oracle est aussi contre Emath qui confine Damas, et contre Tyr et Sidon; car elles se sont flattées insolemment de leur sagesse.
3 And Tyre hath built herself a strong hold, and heaped together silver as earth, and gold as the mire of the streets.	3 Tyr s'est bâti une forteresse; elle a amoncelé l'argent comme la poussière, et l'or comme la boue des rues.
4 Behold the Lord shall possess her, and shall strike her strength in the sea, and she shall be devoured with fire.	4 Voici, le Seigneur s'en emparera; Il précipitera sa puissance dans la mer, et elle sera dévorée par le feu.
5 Ascalon shall see, and shall fear, and Gaza, and shall be very sorrowful: and Accaron, because her hope is confounded : and the king shall perish from Gaza, and Ascalon shall not be inhabited.	5 Ascalon le verra, et sera dans la crainte; Gaza aussi, et elle en aura une vive douleur; Accaron aussi, car son espérance sera confondue; le roi disparaîtra de Gaza, et Ascalon ne sera plus habitée.
6 And the divider shall sit in Azotus, and I will destroy the pride of the Philistines.	6 L'étranger s'assiéra dans Azot, et Je détruirai l'orgueil des Philistins.
7 And I will take away his blood out of his mouth, and his abominations from between his teeth: and even he shall be left to our God, and he shall be as a governor in Juda, and Accaron as a Jebusite.	7 J'ôterai le sang de sa bouche, et ses abominations d'entre ses dents; et lui aussi, il restera pour notre Dieu; il sera comme un chef dans Juda, et Accaron comme un Jébuséen.
8 And I will encompass my house with them that serve me in war, going and returning, and the oppressor shall no more pass through them: for now I have seen with my eyes.	8 J'entourerai Ma maison de ceux qui combattent pour Moi, contre les allants et les venants, et l'oppresseur ne passera plus sur eux, car Je vois maintenant de Mes yeux.
9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Sion, shout for joy, O daughter of Jerusalem: BEHOLD THY KING will come to thee, the just and saviour: he is poor, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.	9 Sois transportée d'allégresse, fille de Sion; pousse des cris de joie, fille de Jérusalem. Voici que ton Roi vient à toi, juste et sauveur; Il est pauvre, et monté sur une ânesse et sur le poulain d'une ânesse.
10 And I will destroy the chariot out of Ephraim, and the horse out of Jerusalem, and the bow for war shall be broken: and he shall speak peace to the Gentiles, and his power shall be from sea to sea, and from the rivers even to the end of the earth.	10 J'exterminerai les chars d'Ephraïm et les chevaux de Jérusalem, et les arcs de la guerre seront anéantis; Il annoncera la paix aux nations, et Sa puissance ira d'une mer à l'autre, et depuis les fleuves jusqu'aux extrémités de la terre.
11 Thou also by the blood of thy testament hast sent forth thy prisoners out of the pit, wherein is no water.	11 Toi aussi, par le sang de ton alliance, tu as fait sortir tes captifs de la fosse où il n'y a pas d'eau.
12 Return to the strong hold, ye prisoners of hope, I will render thee double at, I declare to day.	12 Retournez à la forteresse, captifs pleins d'espérance; aujourd'hui Je vous l'annonce encore, Je vous rendrai le double.
13 Because I have bent Juda for me as a bow, I have filled Ephraim: and I will raise up thy sons, O Sion, above thy sons, O Greece, and I will make thee as the sword of the mighty.	13 Car J'ai bandé Juda comme un arc, J'ai rempli Ephraïm; Je soulèverai tes enfants, ô Sion, contre tes enfants, ô Grèce; et je ferai de toi comme l'épée des héros.
14 And the Lord God shall be seen over them, and his dart shall go forth as lightning: and the Lord God will sound the trumpet, and go in the whirlwind of the south.	14 Alors le Seigneur Dieu paraîtra au-dessus d'eux, et Sa flèche partira comme la foudre; le Seigneur Dieu sonnera de la trompette, et Il S'avancera dans la tempête du midi.
15 The Lord of hosts will protect them: and they shall devour, and subdue with the stones of the sling: and drinking they shall be inebriated as it were with wine, and they shall be filled as bowls, and as the horns of the altar.	15 Le Seigneur des armées les protégera; ils dévoreront et ils assujettiront avec les pierres de la fronde; ils boiront et ils seront enivrés comme par le vin; ils seront remplis comme les coupes et comme les cornes de l'autel.
16 And the Lord their God will save them in that day, as the dock of his people: for holy stones shall be lifted up over his land.	16 Et le Seigneur leur Dieu les sauvera en ce jour-là, comme le troupeau de Son peuple; car ils sont des pierres saintes qui seront élevées dans Son pays.
17 For what is the good thing of him, and what is his beautiful thing, but the corn of the elect, and wine springing forth virgins?	17 Car qu'est-ce qu'il a de bon et de beau, sinon le froment des élus et le vin qui fait germer les vierges?
