1 A psalm for David himself. The Lord hath reigned, let the people be angry: he that sitteth on the cherubims: let the earth be moved.	1 Psaume de David. Le Seigneur règne: que les peuples s'irritent. * Il est assis sur les chérubins: que la terre soit ébranlée.
2 The Lord is great in Sion, and high above all people.	2 Le Seigneur est grand dans Sion, * et Il est élevé au-dessus de tous les peuples.
3 Let them give praise to thy great name: for it is terrible and holy:	3 Qu'on rende gloire à Votre grand Nom, car il est terrible et saint, *
4 and the king's honour loveth judgment. Thou hast prepared directions: thou hast done judgment and justice in Jacob.	4 et l'honneur du roi est d'aimer la justice. Vous avez marqué les directions à suivre; * Vous avez exercé la justice et le jugement dans Jacob.
5 Exalt ye the Lord our God, and adore his footstool, for it is holy.	5 Exaltez le Seigneur notre Dieu, et adorez l'escabeau de Ses pieds, * car il est saint.
6 Moses and Aaron among his priests: and Samuel among them that call upon his name. They called upon the Lord, and he heard them:	6 Moïse et Aaron étaient parmi Ses prêtres, * et Samuel parmi ceux qui invoquent Son Nom. Ils invoquaient le Seigneur, et Il les exauçait; *
7 he spoke to them in the pillar of the cloud. They kept his testimonies, and the commandment which he gave them.	7 Il leur parlait dans la colonne de nuée. Ils gardaient Ses ordonnances, * et le précepte qu'Il leur avait donné.
8 Thou didst hear them, O Lord our God: thou wast a merciful God to them, and taking vengeance on all their inventions.	8 Seigneur notre Dieu, Vous les exauciez; * ô Dieu, Vous leur avez été propice, et Vous punissiez toutes leurs fautes.
9 Exalt ye the Lord our God, and adore at his holy mountain: for the Lord our God is holy.	9 Exaltez le Seigneur notre Dieu, et adorez-Le sur Sa montagne sainte, * car le Seigneur notre Dieu est saint.
