Psalms 148

1 Praise ye the Lord, because psalm is good: to our God be joyful and comely praise.	1 Laudate il Signore del cielo; laudatelo nelli eccelsi.
2 The Lord buildeth up Jerusalem: he will gather together the dispersed of Israel.	2 Laudatelo tutti li angeli suoi; laudatelo tutte le virtù sue.
3 Who healeth the broken of heart, and bindeth up their bruises.	3 Laudatelo sole e luna; laudatelo tutte le stelle e luce.
4 Who telleth the number of the stars: and calleth them all by their names.	4 Laudatelo li cieli de' cieli; e le acque, che son sopra li cieli, laudino il nome del Signore.
5 Great is our Lord, and great is his power: and of his wisdom there is no number.	5 Per che egli disse, e furono fatte; egli comandò, e furono create.
6 The Lord lifteth up the meek, and bringeth the wicked down even to the ground.	6 Ordinò quelle in eterno, e in SECULUM SECULI; puose il comandamento, e nol moverà.
7 Sing ye to the Lord with praise: sing to our God upon the harp.	7 Laudate il Signore chi siete in terra, caverne e tutti li abissi;
8 Who covereth the heaven with clouds, and prepareth rain for the earth. Who maketh grass to grow on the mountains, and herbs for the service of men.	8 fuoco, gragnuola, neve, ghiaccio, spirito di tempeste, che fanno il comandamento suo;
9 Who giveth to beasts their food: and to the young ravens that call upon him.	9 o monti e tutti li colli; arbori fruttiferi e tutti li cedri;
10 He shall not delight in the strength of the horse: nor take pleasure in the legs of a man.	10 voi, bestie e tutte pecore; serpenti e uccelli volatili;
11 The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him: and in them that hope in his mercy.	11 voi, re della terra e tutti li popoli; prìncipi e tutti giudici della terra.
	12 Giovani e vergini, vecchi con giovencelli, laudino il Signore;
	13 per che è esaltato solo il nome suo.
	14 La sua confessione sia sopra il cielo e la terra; e lui esaltarà la potenza del popolo suo. Sia laude a tutti li santi suoi; alli figliuoli d' Israel, populo apropinquante a lui.
