1 For David himself. Bless the Lord, O my soul: O Lord my God, thou art exceedingly great. Thou hast put on praise and beauty:	1 Błogosław, duszo moja, Pana! O Boże mój, Panie, jesteś bardzo wielki! Odziany we wspaniałość i majestat,
2 and art clothed with light as with a garment. Who stretchest out the heaven like a pavilion:	2 światłem okryty jak płaszczem. Rozpostarłeś niebo jak namiot,
3 who coverest the higher rooms thereof with water. Who makest the clouds thy chariot: who walkest upon the wings of the winds.	3 wzniosłeś swe komnaty nad wodami. Za rydwan masz obłoki, przechadzasz się na skrzydłach wiatru.
4 Who makest thy angels spirits: and thy ministers a burning fire.	4 Jako swych posłów używasz wichry, jako sługi - ogień i płomienie.
5 Who hast founded the earth upon its own bases: it shall not be moved for ever and ever.	5 Umocniłeś ziemię w jej podstawach: na wieki wieków się nie zachwieje.
6 The deep like a garment is its clothing: above the mountains shall the waters stand.	6 Jak szatą okryłeś ją Wielką Otchłanią, stanęły wody ponad górami.
7 At thy rebuke they shall flee: at the voice of thy thunder they shall fear.	7 Musiały uciekać wobec Twej groźby, na głos Twego grzmotu popadły w przerażenie.
8 The mountains ascend, and the plains descend into the place which thou hast founded for them.	8 Wzniosły się na góry, opadły na doliny, na miejsce, któreś im naznaczył.
9 Thou hast set a bound which they shall not pass over; neither shall they return to cover the earth.	9 Zakreśliłeś granicę, której nie przekraczają, nigdy nie wrócą, by zalać ziemię.
10 Thou sendest forth springs in the vales: between the midst of the hills the waters shall pass.	10 Ty zdroje kierujesz do strumieni, co pośród gór się sączą:
11 All the beasts of the field shall drink: the wild asses shall expect in their thirst.	11 poją one wszelkie zwierzęta polne, [tam] dzikie osły gaszą swe pragnienie;
12 Over them the birds of the air shall dwell: from the midst of the rocks they shall give forth their voices.	12 nad nimi mieszka ptactwo powietrzne, spomiędzy gałęzi głos swój wydaje.
13 Thou waterest the hills from thy upper rooms: the earth shall be filled with the fruit of thy works:	13 Z Twoich komnat nawadniasz góry, aby owocem Twych dzieł nasycić ziemię.
14 Bringing forth grass for cattle, and herb for the service of men. That thou mayst bring bread out of the earth:	14 Każesz rosnąć trawie dla bydła i roślinom, by człowiekowi służyły, aby z roli dobywał chleb
15 and that wine may cheer the heart of man. That he may make the face cheerful with oil: and that bread may strengthen man's heart.	15 i wino, co rozwesela serce ludzkie, by rozpogadzać twarze oliwą, by serce ludzkie chleb krzepił.
16 The trees of the field shall be filled, and the cedars of Libanus which he hath planted:	16 Drzewa Pana mają wody do syta, cedry Libanu, które zasadził.
17 there the sparrows shall make their nests. The highest of them is the house of the heron.	17 Tam ptactwo zakłada gniazda, na cyprysach są domy bocianów.
18 The high hills are a refuge for the harts, the rock for the irchins.	18 Wysokie góry dla kozic, a skały są kryjówką dla borsuków.
19 He hath made the moon for seasons: the sun knoweth his going down.	19 Tyś stworzył księżyc, aby czas wskazywał; słońce poznało swój zachód.
20 Thou hast appointed darkness, and it is night: in it shall all the beasts of the woods go about:	20 Mrok sprowadzasz i noc nastaje, w niej krąży wszelki zwierz leśny.
21 The young lions roaring after their prey, and seeking their meat from God.	21 Lwiątka ryczą za łupem, domagają się żeru od Boga.
22 The sun ariseth, and they are gathered together: and they shall lie down in their dens.	22 Gdy słońce wzejdzie, wracają i kładą się w swych legowiskach.
23 Man shall go forth to his work, and to his labour until the evening.	23 Człowiek wychodzi do swojej pracy, do trudu swojego aż do wieczora.
24 How great are thy works, O Lord? thou hast made all things in wisdom: the earth is filled with thy riches.	24 Jak liczne są dzieła Twoje, Panie! Ty wszystko mądrze uczyniłeś: ziemia jest pełna Twych stworzeń.
25 So is this great sea, which stretcheth wide its arms: there are creeping things without number: Creatures little and great.	25 Oto morze wielkie, długie i szerokie, a w nim jest bez liku żyjątek i zwierząt wielkich i małych.
26 There the ships shall go. This sea dragon which thou hast formed to play therein.	26 Tamtędy wędrują okręty, i Lewiatan, którego stworzyłeś na to, aby w nim igrał.
27 All expect of thee that thou give them food in season.	27 Wszystko to czeka na Ciebie, byś dał im pokarm w swym czasie.
28 What thou givest to them they shall gather up: when thou openest thy hand, they shall all be filled with good.	28 Gdy im udzielasz, zbierają; gdy rękę swą otwierasz, sycą się dobrami.
29 But if thou turnest away thy face, they shall be troubled: thou shalt take away their breath, and they shall fail, and shall return to their dust.	29 Gdy skryjesz swe oblicze, wpadają w niepokój; gdy im oddech odbierasz, marnieją i powracają do swojego prochu.
30 Thou shalt send forth thy spirit, and they shall be created: and thou shalt renew the face of the earth.	30 Stwarzasz je, gdy ślesz swego Ducha i odnawiasz oblicze ziemi.
31 May the glory of the Lord endure for ever: the Lord shall rejoice in his works.	31 Niech chwała Pana trwa na wieki: niech Pan się raduje z dzieł swoich.
32 He looketh upon the earth, and maketh it tremble: he toucheth the mountains, and they smoke.	32 Na ziemię patrzy, a ona drży; dotyka gór, a one dymią.
33 I will sing to the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.	33 Póki mego życia, chcę śpiewać Panu i grać mojemu Bogu, póki mi życia starczy.
34 Let my speech be acceptable to him: but I will take delight in the Lord.	34 Niech miła Mu będzie pieśń moja, będę radował się w Panu.
35 Let sinners be consumed out of the earth, and the unjust, so that they be no more: O my soul, bless thou the Lord.	35 Niech znikną z ziemi grzesznicy i niech już nie będzie występnych! Błogosław, duszo moja, Pana! Alleluja.
