1 Then Eliasib the high priest arose, and his brethren the priests, and they built the flock gate: they sanctified it, and set up the doors thereof, even unto the tower of a hundred cubits they sanctified it unto the tower of Hananeel.	1 Alors le grand prêtre Eliasib se leva avec les prêtres, ses frères, et ils bâtirent la porte du Troupeau. Ils la consacrèrent, et ils en posèrent les battants, et ils la consacrèrent jusqu'à la tour de cent coudées, jusqu'à la tour Hananéel.
2 And next to him the men of Jericho built: and next to them built Zachur the son of Amri.	2 A côté d'Eliasib bâtirent les hommes de Jéricho, et à côté de lui bâtit aussi Zachur, fils d'Amri.
3 But the fish gate the sons of Asnaa built: they covered it, and set up the doors thereof, and tire locks, and the bars. And next to them built Marimuth the son of Urias the son of Accus.	3 Les fils d'Asnaa bâtirent la porte des Poissons. Ils la couvrirent, et y mirent les battants, les serrures et les barres. Marimuth, fils d'Urie, fils d'Accus, bâtit auprès d'eux.
4 And next to him built Mosollam tile son of Barachias, the sell of Merezebel, and next to them built Sadoc the son of Baana.	4 Mosollam, fils de Barachias, fils de Mésézébel, bâtit auprès de lui; et Sadoc, fils de Baana, bâtit auprès d'eux.
5 And next to them the Thecuites built: but their great men did not put their necks to the work of their Lord.	5 Auprès d'eux bâtirent les gens de Thécua. Mais les principaux d'entre eux ne voulurent point s'abaisser au service de leur Seigneur.
6 And Joiada the son of Phasea, and Mosollam the son of Besodia built the old gate: they covered it and set up the doors thereof, and the locks, and the bars.	6 Joïada, fils de Phaséa, et Mosollam, fils de Bésodia, bâtirent la Vieille porte, la couvrirent, et en posèrent les deux battants, les serrures et les barres.
7 And next to them built Meltias the Gabaonite, and Jadon the Meronathite, the men of Gabaon and Maspha, for the governor that was in the country beyond the river.	7 Et près d'eux bâtirent Meltias le Gabaonite, et Jadon le Méronathite, et les hommes de Gabaon et de Maspha, devant la maison du gouverneur du pays de delà le fleuve.
8 And next to him built Eziel the son of Araia the goldsmith: and next to him built Ananias the son of the perfumer: and they left Jerusalem unto the wall of the broad street.	8 Eziel l'orfèvre, fils d'Araïa, bâtit auprès de lui, et auprès d'Eziel Ananias fils d'un parfumeur; et ils laissèrent cette partie de Jérusalem jusqu'au mur de la grande rue.
9 And next to him built Raphaia the son of Hur, lord of the street of Jerusalem.	9 Raphaïa, fils de Hur, chef d'un quartier de Jérusalem, bâtit auprès de lui.
10 And next to him Jedaia the son of Haromaph over against his own house: and next to him built Hattus the son of Hasebonia.	10 Jédaïa, fils d'Haromath, bâtit auprès de Raphaïa vis-à-vis de sa maison, et Hattus, fils d'Hasébonias, bâtit auprès de lui.
11 ,11Melchias the son of Herem, and Hasub the son of Phahath Moab, built half the street, and the tower of the furnaces.	11 Melchias, fils d'Hérem, et Hasub, fils de Phahath-Moab, bâtirent la moitié d'un quartier et la tour des Fours.
12 And next to him built Sellum the son of Alohes, lord of half the street of Jerusalem, he and his daughters.	12 Sellum, fils d'Alohès, chef de la moitié d'un quartier de Jérusalem, bâtit auprès d'eux, lui et ses filles.
13 And the gate of the valley Hanun built, and the inhabitants of Zanoe: they built it, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks, and the bars, and a thousand cubits in the wall unto the gate of the dunghill.	13 Hanun et les habitants de Zanoé réparèrent la porte de la Vallée. Ils la bâtirent et en posèrent les battants, les serrures et les barres, et refirent mille coudées du mur jusqu'à la porte du Fumier.
14 And the gate of the dunghill Melchias the son of Rechab built, lord of the street of Bethacharam : he built it, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks, and the bars.	14 Melchias, fils de Réchab, chef du district de Bethacharam, bâtit la porte du Fumier. Il la bâtit et en posa les battants, les serrures et les barres.
15 And the gate of the fountain Sellum the son of Cholhoza built, lord of the street of Maspha: he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks, and the bare, and the walls of the pool of Siloe unto the king's guard, and unto the steps that go down from the city of David.	15 Sellum, fils de Cholhoza, chef du district de Maspha, bâtit la porte de la Fontaine. Il la bâtit, la couvrit, en posa les battants, les serrures et les barres, et il refit les murs de la piscine de Siloé, jusqu'au jardin du roi et aux degrés par où on descend de la ville de David.
16 After him built Nehemias the son of Azboc, lord of half the street of Bethsur, as far as over against the sepulchre of David, and to the pool, that was built with great labour, and to the house of the mighty.	16 Néhémias, fils d'Azboc, chef de la moitié du district de Bethsur, bâtit près de Sellum, jusqu'en face du sépulcre de David et jusqu'à la piscine qui avait été bâtie avec grand travail, et jusqu'à la maison des forts.
17 After him built the Levites, Rehum the son of Benni. After him built Hasebias, lord of half the street of Ceila in his own street.	17 Les lévites bâtirent auprès de lui, avec Réhum, fils de Benni, et auprès de Réhum, Hasébias, chef de la moitié du district de Céila, bâtit le long de sa rue.
18 After him built their brethren Bavai the son of Enadad, lord of half Ceila.	18 Ses frères bâtirent auprès de lui, avec Bavaï, fils d'Enadad, chef de la moitié du district de Méila.
19 And next to him Aser the son of Josue, lord of Maspha, built another measure, over against the going up of the strong corner.	19 Azer, fils de Josué, chef de Maspha, travailla auprès de lui et bâtit un double espace vis-à-vis de la montée de l'Angle très fort.
20 After him in the mount Baruch the son of Zachai built another measure, from the corner to the door of the house of Eliasib the high priest.	20 Baruch, fils de Zachaï, rebâtit auprès de lui sur la montagne un double espace, depuis l'angle jusqu'à la porte de la maison du grand prêtre Eliasib.
21 After him Merimuth the son of Urias the son of Haccus, built another measure, from the door of the house of Eliasib, to the end of the house of Eliasib.	21 Mérimuth, fils d'Urie, fils d'Haccus, bâtit auprès de lui un double espace, depuis la porte de la maison d'Eliasib jusqu'au lieu où se terminait cette maison.
22 And after him built the priests, the men of the plains of the Jordan.	22 Les prêtres qui habitaient les plaines du Jourdain bâtirent auprès de lui.
23 After him built Benjamin and Hasub, over against their own house : and after him built Azarias the son of Maasias the son of Ananias over against his house.	23 Benjamin et Hasub bâtirent ensuite vis-à-vis de leur maison; et auprès d'eux Azarias, fils de Maasias, fils d'Ananias, bâtit vis-à-vis de sa maison.
24 After him built Bennui the son of Hanadad another measure, from the house of Azarias unto the bending, and unto the corner.	24 Bennui, fils d'Hénadad, bâtit auprès de lui un double espace, depuis la maison d'Azarias jusqu'au tournant et jusqu'à l'angle.
25 Phalel, the son of Ozi, over against the bending and the tower, which lieth out from the king's high house, that is, in the court of the prison: after him Phadaia the son of Pharos.	25 Phalel, fils d'Ozi, bâtit vis-à-vis du tournant et de la tour qui s'avance de la haute maison du roi, c'est-à-dire le long du vestibule de la prison; et auprès de lui Phadaïa, fils de Pharos.
26 And the Nathinites dwelt in Ophel, as far as over against the water gate toward the east, and the tower that stood out.	26 Or les Nathinéens demeuraient à Ophel, jusque en face de la porte des Eaux vers l'orient, et jusqu'à la tour en saillie.
27 After him the Thecuites built another measure over against, from the great tower that standeth out unto the wall of the temple.	27 Les gens de Thécua bâtirent auprès de lui un double espace vis-à-vis, depuis la grande tour en saillie jusqu'au mur du temple.
28 And upward from the horse gate the priests built, every man over against his house.	28 Les prêtres bâtirent en haut depuis le porte des Chevaux, chacun en face de sa maison.
29 After them built Sadoc the son of Emmer over against his house. And after him built Semaia the son of Sechenias, keeper of the east gate.	29 Sadoc, fils d'Emmer, bâtit auprès d'eux en face de sa maison; et auprès de lui Sémaïa, fils de Séchénias, qui gardait la porte d'orient.
30 After him built Hanania the son of Selemia, and Hanun the sixth son of Seleph, another measure: after him built Mosollam the son of Barachias over against his treasury. After him Melcias the goldsmith's son built unto the house of the Nathinites, and of the sellers of small wares, over against the judgment gate, and unto the chamber of the corner.	30 Hanania, fils de Sélémias, et Hanun, sixième fils de Séleph, bâtirent auprès de lui un double espace; et auprès de lui Mosollam, fils de Barachias, bâtit le mur vis-à-vis de ses chambres. Melchias, fils d'un orfèvre, bâtit auprès de lui jusqu'à la maison des Nathinéens et des merciers, vers la porte des Juges et jusqu'à la chambre de l'Angle.
31 And within the chamber of the corner of the dock gate, the goldsmiths and the merchants built.	31 Les orfèvres et les marchands bâtirent à la porte du Troupeau, le long de la chambre de l'Angle.
