DIODATI	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 VENITE, cantiamo lietamente al Signore; Giubiliamo alla Rocca della nostra salute.	1 O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.
2 Andiamogli incontro con lodi, Giubiliamogli con salmi.	2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.
3 Perciocchè il Signore è Dio grande, E Re grande sopra tutti gl’iddii.	3 For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
4 Perciocchè egli tiene in mano le profondità della terra; E le altezze de’ monti sono sue.	4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.
5 Ed a lui appartiene il mare, perchè egli l’ha fatto; E l’asciutto, perchè le sue mani l’hanno formato.	5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.
6 Venite, adoriamo, ed inchiniamoci; Inginocchiamoci davanti al Signore che ci ha fatti	6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.
7 Perciocchè egli è il nostro Dio; E noi siamo il popolo del suo pasco, E la greggia della sua condotta.	7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,
8 Oggi, se udite la sua voce, Non indurate il vostro cuore, come in Meriba; Come al giorno di Massa, nel deserto;	8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
9 Ove i padri vostri mi tentarono, Mi provarono, ed anche videro le mie opere.	9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.
10 Lo spazio di quarant’anni quella generazione mi fu di noia; Onde io dissi: Costoro sono un popolo sviato di cuore, E non conoscono le mie vie.	10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
11 Perciò giurai nell’ira mia: Se entrano giammai nel mio riposo	11 Unto whom I sware in my wrath that they should not enter into my rest.
