EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Canto de peregrinación. De Salomón. Si el Señor no edifica la casa, en vano trabajan los albañiles; si el Señor no custodia la ciudad en vano vigila el centinela.	1 Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.
2 Es inútil que ustedes madruguen; es inútil que velen hasta muy tarde y se desvivan por ganar el pan: ¡Dios lo da a sus amigos mientras duermen!	2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.
3 Los hijos son un regalo del Señor, el fruto del vientre es una recompensa;	3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
4 como flechas en la mano de un guerrero son los hijos de la juventud.	4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
5 ¡Feliz el hombre que llena con ellos su aljaba! No será humillado al discutir con sus enemigos en la puerta de la ciudad.	5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
