1 La mémoire de Josias a un parfum d’encens préparé avec tout l’art du parfumeur, c’est comme un miel doux à la bouche, c’est comme une musique au milieu du festin et des vins.	1 The memory of Josiah is like a blend of fragrances composed by the work of a perfumer.
2 Car il a pris le droit chemin et converti le peuple: c’est lui qui supprima les idoles abominables, la source du péché.	2 His remembrance will be sweet like honey in every mouth, and like music at a banquet of wine.
3 Il avait tourné son cœur vers le Seigneur et il restaura la piété à une époque où les sans-loi triomphaient.	3 He was divinely directed for the repentance of the nation, and he took away the abominations of impiety.
4 À l’exception de David, Ézékias et Josias, tous les autres ne firent que multiplier les fautes. Les rois de Juda abandonnèrent la Loi du Très-Haut, et c’est pourquoi ils furent abandonnés.	4 And he guided his heart toward the Lord. And during the days of sinners, he strengthened piety.
