1 ¡Aleluya! ¡Alaba al Señor, alma mía!	1 Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD, O my soul!
2 Alabaré al Señor toda mi vida; mientras yo exista, cantaré a mi Dios.	2 I will praise the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have being.
3 No confíen en los poderosos, en simples mortales, que no pueden salvar:	3 Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no help.
4 cuando expiran, vuelven al polvo, y entonces se esfuman sus proyectos.	4 When his breath departs he returns to his earth; on that very day his plans perish.
5 Feliz el que se apoya en el Dios de Jacob y pone su esperanza en el Señor, su Dios:	5 Happy is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God,
6 él hizo el cielo y la tierra, el mar y todo lo que hay en ellos. El mantiene su fidelidad para siempre,	6 who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; who keeps faith for ever;
7 hace justicia a los oprimidos y da pan a los hambrientos. El Señor libera a los cautivos,	7 who executes justice for the oppressed; who gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets the prisoners free;
8 abre los ojos de los ciegos y endereza a los que están encorvados.	8 the LORD opens the eyes of the blind. The LORD lifts up those who are bowed down; the LORD loves the righteous.
9 El Señor protege a los extranjeros y sustenta al huérfano y a la viuda;	9 The LORD watches over the sojourners, he upholds the widow and the fatherless; but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin.
10 El Señor reina eternamente, reina tu Dios, Sión, a lo largo de las generaciones. ¡Aleluya!	10 The LORD will reign for ever, thy God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the LORD!
