2 O Signore, tu sei stato propizio alla tua terra, hai liberato dalla schiavitù Giacobbe.	2 My whole being yearns and pines for Yahweh's courts, My heart and my body cry out for joy to theliving God.
3 Hai perdonata l'iniquità al tuo popolo, hai ricoperti tutti i loro peccati.	3 Even the sparrow has found a home, the swal ow a nest to place its young: your altars, YahwehSabaoth, my King and my God.
4 Hai deposta tutta la tua ira, bai sedato l'ardore del tuo sdegno.	4 How blessed are those who live in your house; they shall praise you continual y. Pause
5 Convertici, o Dio nostro salvatore, e allontana l'ira tua da noi.	5 Blessed those who find their strength in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.
6 Vuoi esser adirato con noi in eterno? O prolungare l'ira tua di generazione in generazione?	6 As they pass through the Val ey of the Balsam, they make there a water-hole, and -- a further blessing-- early rain fil s it.
7 O Dio, volgiti a noi e donaci la vita, e il tuo popolo in te s'allieterà.	7 They make their way from height to height, God shows himself to them in Zion.
8 Mostraci, o Signore, la tua misericordia e donaci il tuo Salvatore.	8 Yahweh, God Sabaoth, hear my prayer, listen, God of Jacob.
9 Voglio sentire quel che dice dentro di me il Signore Dio! Certo Egli parlerà di pace al suo no­polo, per i suoi santi e per chi di cuore torna a lui	9 God, our shield, look, and see the face of your anointed.
10 Sì, la sua salute è vicina a quelli che lo temono, e la gloria abiterà sulla nostra terra.	10 Better one day in your courts than a thousand at my own devices, to stand on the threshold of God'shouse than to live in the tents of the wicked.
11 La bontà e la verità si sono andate incontro, la giustizia e la pace si sono baciate.	11 For Yahweh God is a rampart and shield, he gives grace and glory; Yahweh refuses nothing good tothose whose life is blameless.
12 La verità è spuntata dalla terra o la giustizia ha guardato dal cielo.	12 Yahweh Sabaoth, blessed is he who trusts in you.
13 Sì. il Signore si mostrerà benigno e la nostra terra darà il suo frutto.
14 La giustizia camminerà dinanzi a lui e lascerà nella via le sue impronte.
