1 هذا كتاب مواليد آدم. يوم خلق الله الانسان على شبه الله عمله	1 This is the rol of Adam's descendants: On the day that God created Adam he made him in the likenessof God.
2 ذكرا وانثى خلقه وباركه ودعا اسمه آدم يوم خلق.	2 Male and female he created them. He blessed them and gave them the name Man, when they werecreated.
3 وعاش آدم مئة وثلاثين سنة وولد ولدا على شبهه كصورته ودعا اسمه شيثا.	3 When Adam was a hundred and thirty years old he fathered a son, in his likeness, after his image, andhe cal ed him Seth.
4 وكانت ايام آدم بعدما ولد شيثا ثماني مئة سنة وولد بنين وبنات.	4 Adam lived for eight hundred years after the birth of Seth and he fathered sons and daughters.
5 فكانت كل ايام آدم التي عاشها تسع مئة وثلاثين سنة ومات	5 In al , Adam lived for nine hundred and thirty years; then he died.
6 وعاش شيث مئة وخمس سنين وولد أنوش.	6 When Seth was a hundred and five years old he fathered Enosh.
7 وعاش شيث بعدما ولد أنوش ثماني مئة وسبع سنين وولد بنين وبنات.	7 After the birth of Enosh, Seth lived for eight hundred and seven years, and he fathered sons anddaughters.
8 فكانت كل ايام شيث تسع مئة واثنتي عشرة سنة ومات	8 In al , Seth lived for nine hundred and twelve years; then he died.
9 وعاش أنوش تسعين سنة وولد قينان.	9 When Enosh was ninety years old he fathered Kenan.
10 وعاش أنوش بعدما ولد قينان ثماني مئة وخمس عشرة سنة وولد بنين وبنات.	10 After the birth of Kenan, Enosh lived for eight hundred and fifteen years and he fathered sons anddaughters.
11 فكانت كل ايام أنوش تسع مئة وخمس سنين ومات	11 In al , Enosh lived for nine hundred and five years; then he died.
12 وعاش قينان سبعين سنة وولد مهللئيل.	12 When Kenan was seventy years old he fathered Mahalalel.
13 وعاش قينان بعدما ولد مهللئيل ثماني مئة واربعين سنة وولد بنين وبنات.	13 After the birth of Mahalalel, Kenan lived for eight hundred and forty years and he fathered sons anddaughters.
14 فكانت كل ايام قينان تسع مئة وعشر سنين ومات	14 In al , Kenan lived for nine hundred and ten years; then he died.
15 وعاش مهللئيل خمسا وستين سنة وولد يارد.	15 When Mahalalel was sixty-five years old he fathered Jared.
16 وعاش مهللئيل بعدما ولد يارد ثماني مئة وثلاثين سنة وولد بنين وبنات.	16 After the birth of Jared, Mahalalel lived for eight hundred and thirty years and he fathered sons anddaughters.
17 فكانت كل ايام مهللئيل ثماني مئة وخمسا وتسعين سنة ومات	17 In al , Mahalalel lived for eight hundred and ninety-five years; then he died.
18 وعاش يارد مئة واثنتين وستين سنة وولد اخنوخ.	18 When Jared was a hundred and sixty-two years old he fathered Enoch.
19 وعاش يارد بعدما ولد اخنوخ ثماني مئة سنة وولد بنين وبنات.	19 After the birth of Enoch, Jared lived for eight hundred years and he fathered sons and daughters.
20 فكانت كل ايام يارد تسع مئة واثنتين وستين سنة ومات	20 In al , Jared lived for nine hundred and sixty-two years; then he died.
21 وعاش اخنوخ خمسا وستين سنة وولد متوشالح.	21 When Enoch was sixty-five years old he fathered Methuselah.
22 وسار اخنوخ مع الله بعدما ولد متوشالح ثلث مئة سنة وولد بنين وبنات.	22 Enoch walked with God. After the birth of Methuselah, Enoch lived for three hundred years and hefathered sons and daughters.
23 فكانت كل ايام اخنوخ ثلث مئة وخمسا وستين سنة.	23 In al , Enoch lived for three hundred and sixty-five years.
24 وسار اخنوخ مع الله ولم يوجد لان الله اخذه	24 Enoch walked with God, then was no more, because God took him.
25 وعاش متوشالح مئة وسبعا وثمانين سنة وولد لامك.	25 When Methuselah was a hundred and eighty-seven years old he fathered Lamech.
26 وعاش متوشالح بعدما ولد لامك سبع مئة واثنتين وثمانين سنة وولد بنين وبنات.	26 After the birth of Lamech, Methuselah lived for seven hundred and eighty-two years and he fatheredsons and daughters.
27 فكانت كل ايام متوشالح تسع مئة وتسعا وستين سنة ومات	27 In al , Methuselah lived for nine hundred and sixty-nine years; then he died.
28 وعاش لامك مئة واثنتين وثمانين سنة وولد ابنا.	28 When Lamech was a hundred and eighty-two years old he fathered a son.
29 ودعا اسمه نوحا. قائلا هذا يعزّينا عن عملنا وتعب ايدينا من قبل الارض التي لعنها الرب.	29 He gave him the name Noah because, he said, 'Here is one who wil give us, in the midst of our toiland the labouring of our hands, a consolation out of the very soil that Yahweh cursed.'
30 وعاش لامك بعدما ولد نوحا خمس مئة وخمسا وتسعين سنة وولد بنين وبنات.	30 After the birth of Noah, Lamech lived for five hundred and ninety-five years and fathered sons anddaughters.
31 فكانت كل ايام لامك سبع مئة وسبعا وسبعين سنة ومات	31 In al , Lamech lived for seven hundred and seventy-seven years; then he died.
32 وكان نوح ابن خمس مئة سنة وولد نوح ساما وحاما ويافث	32 When Noah was five hundred years old he fathered Shem, Ham and Japheth.
