LA SACRA BIBBIA	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Non a noi, Signore, non a noi, ma al tuo nome da' gloria: a motivo della tua misericordia, in ragione della tua fedeltà.	1 Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth's sake.
2 Perché dovrebbero dire le genti: "Dov'è il loro Dio?".	2 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?
3 Il nostro Dio sta nei cieli; egli ha fatto tutto ciò che ha voluto.	3 But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.
4 I loro idoli sono argento e oro, opera delle loro mani.	4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
5 Hanno bocca e non parlano, hanno occhi e non vedono.	5 They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:
6 Hanno orecchi e non odono, hanno narici e non odorano.	6 They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not:
7 Hanno mani e non palpano, hanno piedi e non camminano, non emettono suoni dalla loro bocca.	7 They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat.
8 Siano come loro quelli che li fabbricano, e chiunque in essi confida.	8 They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.
9 Confida nel Signore, casa d'Israele: egli è loro aiuto e loro scudo	9 O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
10 Confida nel Signore, casa di Aronne: egli è loro aiuto e loro scudo.	10 O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
11 Confidate nel Signore, voi che lo temete: egli è loro aiuto e loro scudo.	11 Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.
12 Il Signore s'è ricordato di noi: ci benedirà; benedirà la casa d'Israele, benedirà la casa di Aronne,	12 The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.
13 benedirà quelli che temono il Signore, i piccoli insieme ai grandi.	13 He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.
14 Vi moltiplichi il Signore, voi e i vostri figli.	14 The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.
15 Siate benedetti dal Signore: egli ha fatto cieli e terra.	15 Ye are blessed of the LORD which made heaven and earth.
16 I cieli sono cieli del Signore, ma la terra, l'ha data ai figli dell'uomo.	16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.
17 Non i morti lodano il Signore, né coloro che scendono nel silenzio;	17 The dead praise not the LORD, neither any that go down into silence.
18 ma noi benediciamo il Signore, ora e sempre! Alleluia.	18 But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the LORD.
