1 Alleluia. Confess to the Lord, for he is good, for his mercy is forever.	1 Celebrate il Signore, perch'Egli è buono, perchè la sua misericordia dura in eterno.
2 Let Israel now say: For he is good, for his mercy is forever.	2 Orsù, dica Israele che Egli è buono, che la sua misericordia dura in eterno.
3 Let the house of Aaron now say: For his mercy is forever.	3 Orsù, dica la casa di Aronne che la sua misericordia dura in eterno.
4 Let those who fear the Lord now say: For his mercy is forever.	4 Orsù, dicano quelli che temono il Signore che la sua misericordia dura in eterno.
5 In my tribulation, I called upon the Lord. And the Lord heeded me with generosity.	5 Tra le tribolazioni invocai il Signore, e il Signore m'ha esaudito, (ponendomi) al largo.
6 The Lord is my helper. I will not fear what man can do to me.	6 Il Signore è mio aiuto: non temerò quello che mi può fare l'uomo.
7 The Lord is my helper. And I will look down upon my enemies.	7 Il Signore è mio aiuto, ed io posso disprezzare i miei nemici:
8 It is good to trust in the Lord, rather than to trust in man.	8 Meglio confidare nel Signoro che confidare nell'uomo.
9 It is good to hope in the Lord, rather than to hope in leaders.	9 Meglio sperare nel Signore che sperare nei principi.
10 All the nations have surrounded me. And, in the name of the Lord, I have been avenged over them.	10 Tutte le genti m'avevan circondato, ma nel nome del Signore mi son vendicato contro di esse.
11 Surrounding me, they closed in on me. And, in the name of the Lord, I have been avenged over them.	11 Mi avevano accerchiato, messo alle strette, ma nel nome del Signore mi son vendicato contro di esse.
12 They surrounded me like a swarm, and they burned like fire among the thorns. And, in the name of the Lord, I have been avenged over them.	12 Mi avevano attorniato come pecchie, avevan divampato come fuoco nei pruni, ma nel nome del Signore mi son vendicato contro di esse.
13 Having been pushed, I was overturned so as to fall. But the Lord took me up.	13 Urtato, vacillavo, stavo per cadere; ma il Signore mi ha sorretto.
14 The Lord is my strength and my praise. And he has become my salvation.	14 Il Signore è la mia forza, il mio cantico: Egli fu la mia salvezza.
15 A voice of exultation and salvation is in the tabernacles of the just.	15 Il grido della gioia e della salvezza (echeggia) nelle tende dei giusti.
16 The right hand of the Lord has wrought virtue. The right hand of the Lord has exalted me. The right hand of the Lord has wrought virtue.	16 La destra del Signore ha fatto miracoli, la destra del Signore m'ha esaltato, la destra del Signore ha fatto miracoli.
17 I will not die, but I will live. And I will declare the works of the Lord.	17 Io non morrò, ma vivrò e racconterò le opere del Signore.
18 When chastising, the Lord chastised me. But he has not delivered me over to death.	18 Il Signore mi ha castigato severamente, ma non mi ha abbandonato alla morte.
19 Open the gates of justice to me. I will enter them, and I will confess to the Lord.	19 Apritemi le porte della giustizia: v'entrerò e darò lode al Signore.
20 This is the gate of the Lord. The just will enter by it.	20 Questa è la porta del Signore: per essa entreranno i giusti.
21 I will confess to you because you have heard me. And you have become my salvation.	21 Io ti celebrerò, perchè mi hai esaudito, perchè sei stato la mia salvezza.
22 The stone which the builders have rejected, this has become the head of the corner.	22 La pietra scartata dai costruttori è divenuta la pietra angolare.
23 By the Lord has this been done, and it is a wonder before our eyes.	23 Questo è opera del Signore ed è cosa maravigliosa agli occhi nostri.
24 This is the day that the Lord has made. Let us exult and rejoice in it.	24 Questo è il giorno fatto dal Signore: esultiamo e rallegriamoci in esso.
25 O Lord, grant salvation to me. O Lord, grant good prosperity.	25 O Signore, salvami, o Signore, concedi prosperità.
26 Blessed is he who arrives in the name of the Lord. We have blessed you from the house of the Lord.	26 Benedetto colui che viene nel nome del Signore! Noi vi abbiamo benedetti dalla casa del Signore.
27 The Lord is God, and he has enlightened us. Establish a solemn day amid a dense crowd, even to the horn of the altar.	27 Il Signore è Dio ed ha fatto risplendere la sua luce su di noi. Celebrate il giorno solenne con folti rami fino al corno dell'altare.
28 You are my God, and I will confess to you. You are my God, and I will exalt you. I will confess to you, for you have heeded me. And you have become my salvation.	28 Tu sei il mio Dio, e ti darò lode; tu sei il mio Dio, e ti esalterò. Ti celebrerò, perchè m'hai esaudito e sei stato la mia salvezza.
29 Confess to the Lord, for he is good, for his mercy is forever.	29 Celebrate il Signore, perchè Egli è buono, perchè la sua misericordia dura in eterno.
